Isn't it always great when you sit around for hours waiting for other people to finish work they should have had done days before, which their lack of completion of said work keeps you from doing your job until they finish...
...then they still finish an hour past their own drop-dead deadline... and after you've finally had a chance to start your work, four hours into what will amount to about a ten hour job they come back and say, "Oh, I found a mistake in the work I did... it will take me 5 minutes to fix, but YOU have to start all over..."
Yeah.. I love my job on days like this...
I'm seriously considering going back to school to be a pharmacist.
Now I just have to figure out how I fit it into my current calendar...
...ah, yes.... heavy drugs, lots of coffee and skip sleeping!
There's always a solution....
$500.00 a month and a bald cap: I'll go for you.
Fuck that, I'll do it for $400.00 a month and a backrub.
Piss off bacon strips, I saw him first!
Wow...women fighting over you. Nothing new there, I suppose.
If you wanted to be in charge of a large stock of controlled substances why don't you open your own bar and be the bartender? Alcohol and nicotine at your fingertips.
DON'T DO IT!!!!! lol Take it from someone who's been in the industry for almost 11 years, it ain't all it's cracked up to be. Pharmacy is the bastard child of the medical world.
You've managed to describe how I deal with working and going to school....sleep, I miss sleep...
are Anann and Morrigon the same? i am so confused now.....
If this is a serious entry- I would only suggest in favor of it, if you are PASSIONATE about it. Otherwise- Hospitals have the worst social system, they make the computer geeks seem retarded with some of the behaviour.
If you love the idea, and the potential- then go for it. Because it can be a very rewarding - although difficult career path.
I have to add:
My mother once asked me if I would be ok with the thought that something I did lead to someone's death.
That sealed my choice of schooling. Because even if I did EVERYTHING right and they died- I would ALWAYS ask "what if" and then push myself harder with the hurt of "failure".
So: Would you be ok with the thought that you adminstered a drug that lead to the death of someone? Even if there was no way of knowing?
Hmmm, all the fun you have with your comments...no wait, thats me and reading them, lol.
I say go for it~ And Morri has a point there and the bald cap, LOL.
Do it! Do you have anything like our Open University there? 90% of that is distance learning:)
...oh yes, and as a reminder, zucChini is very good for you.
Look at all the great health benefits, nutrients, etc and etc...
...give it a try!
Sorry, I don't speak manganese. I tried to learn once, but I hate all the double Cs.
Oh, and Birra? You, sir, are a smartass :P
Bleh, that is the only Veggie I can't handle- UNLESS... you scoop the innards out, and replace with gorganzola cheese walnuts and light coating of oilve oil- then bake until it is nummy goodness...
See, birra? Another veggie lover who basically says it is inedible unless it is the hollow shell to stuff tasty things into :P
Awww, everyone else kinda makes me feel like a loser 'cause I like the stuff... My mom used to put it in everything. :/
steam it in a rice cooker for 5 minutes, lovely stuff.
Zucchini sauteed in olive oil, shallots, garlic, bit of oregano........ Yum.
I've said it before... and at risk of repeating myself... it is so great to have good friends. People you can turn to and they'll lend you an ear... a shoulder... their time and feelings.
I needed that.
