Strategies For Success on the Vampire Rave

Remaining on the vampire rave isn’t as easy as it would first appear. One must accomplish becoming a level 5 before their account is even considered permanent. Many whelps find that they can not keep up with the requirements but these tips I hope will encourage them to stay and become a part of the vampire rave society.

The first step I suggest is to post a picture. This does not have to be of your face or even a real photograph but it should be something that represents you.

Why?: When other members see you took this effort and have a picture to recognize you by, they will be more friendly. I can't count how many times I’ve thought a profile was wasting space because it didn't even have a display picture. This is vital to staying on the sight because the more friends you have the more reason to stay.

The second step is working on your profile. Include lots of information about your self, but try to make them in categories and keep organized. DO NOT use too many quizzes they make your profile look a bit trashy and not unique. Use original or unique graphics, people enjoy beauty and seeing some nice illustrations among your information is a nice rest on the eyes.

Why?: People will rate you higher and also respect you for having a nice profile. Maybe even want to get to know you this will also increase chances of making new friends and later on help enter houses.

The third step, rate, rate, rate. Don't stop, rate everyone that rates you and also go through the entire listing. How you do so is up to you but I suggest using the "Unrated" tool. Make sure to leave good comments and possibly a nice picture.

Why?: Just as people rate you and become your friend, often people will rate you back and give your profile a nice read to return the favor. On top of this page views and time will be well spent and your level will sky rocket. Your level increasing is vital to remaining on the rave.

The fourth step requires alot of step 3 until the point of becoming a mosquito or level 2 AT LEAST but you should never stop doing step 3 and consistently raise your level. At this point you are now able to post to the massive and informative Forum. This is where its time to both have some fun and also meet tons of people and not to mention learn almost anything about vampires. The fourth step to success is to post good replies. It is not appropriate to advertise your profile in random threads, cuss drastically if at all, waste space, or purposely make people mad. Doing so will most likely have your posts deleted and that wont help you at all.

Why?: Forum post actually increase your level along with the page views and time you will be spending doing them. Once again it is another excellent way to create friends and more reasons to stay in this by now home for you.

Final step, level 5 has come! you are now a permanent part of the Vampire Rave family! Guess what? you are now in the hunting range for houses. Did you do a good job? If so you may see an invitation any day now.

Leveling up, so you are a big level 5 now... but wait there is 28 levels!! Don’t panic although you will experience a major slow down, consistent rating, page viewing, and forum posting will get you moving up on a daily bases! Just don't give up!

Successful Profile Making: You’ve done all I’ve said and still aren’t getting the tens you so desire? Simple ask the people that rate you lower for some tips that would make your profile better. In return make those changes and I bet they will increase your rating.

Friend Making. Looking for some good friends? The best place to look is of course your house or coven. Members here will of course be similar to you as the house masters try to create a peaceful and loving environment. Try to get to know everyone and be sure you had a chance to rate them.

Becoming a house member. "But wait I'm not in a coven or house!?" Okay don't worry. I suggest you scan over the houses and read how they live and work find one you like and prepare yourself. Many houses and covens have rules and guideline. Make sure you fit into them then try to see if you have any friends in that house... if not... make one. After some time of knowing each other kindly ask them about entering their house and depending on the procedure they can try to help you. Good luck :-)
