When I was younger, I had a dream that I was holding my Dads body in my arms, he was black from being burned. I was standing outside of a house that was on fire, and demons were throwing fireballs at me. A year later, my father died and my house burnt down.
I just want to know if anyone thinks its possible to see the future in our dreams. Not just any future though, the near future!

i think its completly possible to see the future... its happened to me the first time i drowned... 2 days before i dreamt my board snapped in the water and hit me n i died.... it happened except a friend brought me into sure..

so i do think its possible to see the future.... R.I.P and im sorry for the loss of your father.

I think everyone has these dreams "although not as extreme as mrlavens dream" thats why the term deja vu is so popular.

well, i believe that when we dream we astral project ourselves. We wonder the astral plain, this where we are able to see the future and the past.... I have many dreams that have come true.... You can teach yourself to learn to know when you have projected, and then you are able to dictate where you want to go and what you want to see... You are even able to make yourself do this with out falling asleep first... I've been learning to control where i go for a few years now, I've seen most of the world... And yes dejavu is a common sign that you have been on the astral plain :)

i personaly cant remember dreams when i awaken for the last 3-4 years i no i dream because its a none fact you dream 4-5 times a night but i can never remember them
i wish i could because i miss them its fun to wake up and look back on your dream before getting out of bed.

there is a little thing you can try to help remember dreams.... place a red jasper on your head board or nightstand before falling asleep....
But it depends on the person, for me, as soon as i wake up i jot down what i can remember from my dreams.... but its been proven that 5 mins after a dream finishes you forget 50% after 10 minutes you've forgotten 90%....

One dream i had come true....

I went to the movies with a really good friend, then we went back to his house, and there was his brother, headless... Then on my friends phone my b/f atm rang and broke up with me... for some reason i ran away and ended up at anothers friends house, well she wasnt home but i walked in, i went through her entire house, there was no furniture or nothing... then all of a sudden her house burnt down...

2 weeks later, my friend and i went to the movies, it was my shout becuase his brother had been in an accident which gave him severe head injuries, while we were out my b/f at the time rang me on my mobile and broke up with me.... after the movies i dropped my friend of at his house, and then went to my other friends house in which (i dremaed of) I had dreamnt her house exactly, except of course they had furniture.... 2 weeks later their house burnt down....

Hmm yes it is possible. Most often it is mistaken for being dejavue, when it was realy a premanition. We also see it as dejavue because of society, not excepting witches and warlocks. Having a dream and then it comming about was just a premanition. Lots upon lots of people commenly mistake premantion's for dejavue cause it was like you had already seen or did that something.....

in the course of a year i probably get dejavu anywhere from like 20-120 or so times in the course of each year, as for my dreams coming true we have to wait awhile and see, i had extraorinarily vivid dreams of seeing the world end, one of the dreams was a continuation of another, i have had nothing but a very strong feeling that it will come to pass in very much like the dream for the past year and a half or so, really hope it is wrong though because if it is true that tsunami situation would seem very merciful and benevolent

First sorry for your loss. To answer your question you can see the future threw dreams. Ever have an experience such as being in a place before yet you never have really been there before (dejaveu) You might be a little phycic and should think about developing this.

I believe that you can see the future in dreams. Every since I was a child I would be somewhere and remember either being there before or have a flashback from a dream and remember i was there. Children are more prone to this because the have a free'r mind persay. Which is also why if your child claims to have an imaginary friend.. they might not be imaginary at all... children are also closer to the " other side" or which ever each person chooses to call it. So i guess an all around answer would be Yes.. lol

Hmm, I do believe you can tell the near future or distant future in your dreams, for I have felt De Ja Vu many times when it comes to things I have done, and when I have gotten the feeling of de ja vu I could not remember where I had seen the place before, but the only reasonable explaination would be our dreams, for some of the places I have felt it in, I had not seen pictures of, and the things that I have done and felt de ja vu I had never done before, so yes I do believe in foretelling of the future, though I do not believe in fortune tellers, but the foretelling of your future by your own dreams I do believe in

I do not belive that it is posible to see the future in your dreems,I KNOW that. It happend to me a few times...and...I don`t like tallking alot about that...but two very important persons in my life died and I saw it some time before it happened.

Ive never had a specific dream come true, but sometimes before events, I will have dreams that related to what happens.

(Ex: When my grandfather died, for 2 wks before I dreamt of old men dying. never specifically my grandfather tho)

i think it is very possible for this to happen. it has happened to me a couple of times .its weird . but yes and it can happen to anyone about anything in their life .

dreams only come true if you want them to. if you feel that your dreams will come true, wake up and try not to let them happen

my life is full of deja vu cases but I never had a dream that came true... or maybe I had but I rarely can recall my dreams

i don't know but maybe the demons represent you fear to something unknown.. sorry about your dad, mine died 3 years ago, he had a car crash when I was 15... I miss him...

As a young child my father worked away from home for long periods....he would send gifts for my mother regularly..different things....and one morning I woke from a dream of seeing my mother in one of the lounge rooms taking a photograph of a huge boquet of flowers sent to her by my father...she was standing taking the picture in front of the newly installed fire surround...she was very happy and was alone....I remember feeling happy for her.....I went downstairs and looked for my mother...I remember opening the door to the front lounge room to see her exactly as I had seen her in my dream..the details were exact and I tried to tell her...however she was so pleased and happy about the flowers I don't blame her for not understanding what I was waffling on about as a small child...LOL..

Oh yes and my sister dreamed that the first Gulf war was about to happen ..she even wrote it down to tell my father when he returned from the UAE....a few short months later....well.... her dream came true..so yes I do believe that dreams can foretell the future.

Well yes dreams can predict the future.
When I was a child I dreamt the first time I went to the dentist.The day after I went and happened exactly as I've dreamed the night after and met the people I've seen in my dream who I've never seen before.

I also had several deju's from dreams.
Dreams always give us sighns for the future,most dream books are true.I also belive in the astral travel when we dream,I think it happened to me altough am not sure but I believe in it.

like i dream i was gonna get sick and i saw myself in the hospital...couple days later got hit by a car.....so there u have it... dreams come true...

I agree with vampirebrethren.

I don't fear when i dream but when my mom does i am always weary that lady freak me out at times. the shit she dreams will happen in the same day. so everytime she dreams i am like erm.... ok i am not going anywhere or i'll have to be really cautious because if she dreams something is bound to go wrong.

Yes you can dream of future events. Dreams can come true. I have dreamed of several things that have come true. The only thing is not every dream is going to come true. Dreams can be warnings, they can tell you that you are sick or are going to be sick and so forth. Sometimes it is the oppisite of what you dream.

Mr, Larven, firstly I do sympathise with loss of your father.. my respectful condolences.

I believe there are people who are gifted with a sight into the future via our dreams, this is evidenced time and time again. Sometimes I do not think of it as a gift especially when our dreams come with a warning such as yours did.

I do believe it's possible. My mom has talked of it happening to her quite a lot. And sometimes it seems to me as if it happens to me as well. But anyway, I do believe in it.

I've got another prove of it.Somtime ago I dreamed about fish.In my dream book I've found it means death.However it was cooked so maybe the meaning was different.
Today I've found out some so called friends were talking behind my back,and this meand the end of the friendship,maybe it was connected:)
