Do u think that hope is a dead emotion? They always say that there is always hope and that u should never give up on it. why not? It seems the more they say that the more things just get worse.

yeah i know what u mean. i always get told there is always hope then everything breaks down the way i thought it would.

its not dead but you cant just hope youi havwe to do some thing and it needs to be realistic

yeah i was hoping that people like my family and the few friends i have would help me with my dream but they wont. and they always tell me to follow my dreams and yet they wont help.hope sux it always turns out bad.

I ran outta hope years ago. It is dead, maybe one time i might have believed it to be true, when i was a kid maybe. But its long gone, been replaced with fear and anxiety.

yeah im the same way now. sometimes i think my hope will come back but it wont

hope is alive its that feeling you get when you want an outcome of a situation to come out to your favor.

what about those who no longer feel that feeling? the one where u want things to work out.

if you dont feel you want ANYTHING to work out than you are just pretty much screwed because you will have no future because this means you DONT care if things work out wheather or not you get your own house to live, also this means you DONT care if whether or not your children are born healthy thier are things to think about and consider for the best life you can try to live. this is just a taste of what hope is....

hope is never dead if you feel hope is dead to you because of other poeple doing you wrong or society screwing you over then just say fuck em never stop hopeing ... hope is with in yourself and it helps you realize what you want and can help you love and live/living dead. but enough mushy stuff hope is there you really can't give it up it's there no matter how much you don't want it to be

Hope isnt a lost cause. I hope everyday certain people I dont like will just combust. Its what keeps my day cheery and bright. :: smiles:::

i dont think hope is dead....before others have hope in u, u have to have hope in them and u have to have hope i ur self.... i have alot of hope and scence i do others have hope in me to.... there are a few who dont but they dont have hope in me becuase they dont have hope in them self.

Hope is not a dead emotion. Why because everyone from everywhere feels it without even noticing at times. Whether if be the hope that you make the bus on time. Or the hope that the one you care for will feel the same. Even something as small as hoping you didnt lose your keys. For hope to die the entire Human race would have to die, because it is a part of human beings to hope againist all odds that things will turn out better in the end.

For me hope is pretty much dead but for other people there could be lots of hope. It all depends on the person.

I think hope is dieing but not gone.We have to make are own hope sometimes.

if you will not even allow yourself to wish for the best....then invariably you will get what you wish....the worst
so if you refuse to have hope....then don't bitch about its loss

Daermon has a point. But ultimately I think that hope is an action of shifted responsibility. You 'hope' something will go right, rather than actually making it happen by your own means. I am aware this isnt always the case, i.e. one may commit an action, and then hope it is correct; but I still think its voerused in shifting reponsibilities from ourselves.

Hope is something i have everyday. Whether it's for something good to come, or for the world to explode, i still have that hope no matter what. lol I think it's easier to see the dark sides of life than it is to see the positives in it. Like he said, it's all about perception.
