Has anyone seen this film yet?
Has anyone already done a post about it? if you have, sorry!!!!!!!! i've not been on here for a while. Ok then, what is your view of the film? the plot, characters, settings, etc.... what could be improved on? opinions please my darlings!!!! (sorry! i've been listening to HIM songs......should stop really.... neeeeevvvvvveeeerrrrr gonna happen)

I saw the movie few days ago...
And what can I say... Generaly, I don't like it.. But That club kick ass! And in Constantine's character I'm in love with :) (don't like Keanu Reeves).
Lucifer was most desapointing in the movie. He is the most beautiful angel, and they put an old man, who acts bum in every third film..
And I really won't watch any movie in the cinema; he is with a cigarette in his mouth whole fu***ng movie, and I can't smoke....

i thought it was an excellent film... it's the best thing that's come to cinemas in a while... and i work in one. it brought in a lot of people too :)

It was marvellous. I really liked the slightly anti-climactic perspective that it gave the idea of 'other realms' instead of all the cathartic glam we ahve got used to of late.

It had well thought out comedic moments, and a LOT of symbolism, which kept me constantly catching up while watching it (trying to follow the plot but being stuck on the symbolism) and some nice ideas about demons, and what really is 'good' and 'evil' in the cliche sence that we percieve it in cinema.

In short; I liked it :-P

the movie was awesome i thought but the ending was pathetic,

it was a good "turn off your brain" movie.

I've seen it 9 times and I never get bored of this movie, also I think Gabriel is really cute, too bad she made father mad.. her wings got burned by Lucifer, I don't know why we angels can't just get along! :(

over priced theaters nah, i wait for the dvd

yeah, i know what all o ya'll are saying. I spent most of the film trying to figure out wether Gabriel was a man or a woman. Heh! I thought it was good, but it could have been better. And the ending was dissapointing. If they make a sequel, lets hope it's better than the original.
I'm also totally not wanting to be Constantine at all now...... not a jot.......

A Magicians Look on it: Heres another good vs evil movie that depicts that Great Archangel Gabriel as Evil, besides that (realistically) NO TRUELY POWERFUL BEING; Angel or Demon WILL OBEY ONES COMMANDS IN SUCH A MANNER AS AN EXORCIST DEMANDS UNLESS One has purified himself; invoking the Divine (radiant to that being a very high frequency; vibration at an intense Light level; powerful Aura (the actual source of the haloed dipictions of Saints) -which would mean addictions like ciggies or the sort would have been mastered (what demon is going to listen to one who is under another demon-like energy's control). OR UNLESS if that magician has entered a Pact (demonic agreement -in short) -which of course would render highly unlikely as far as exorcism is concerned -No one would dare tear down thier own kingdom, not even this devil. And if thats not enough,
the whole movie is based on immediate hell/heaven theory; a whole lot of people in Hell with No Get Back Action -that means no multiple chances of redeeming our selves from the various F***ing up's in our lives that Reincarnation offers.

i thought it was a class film very entertaining

specially when the soldier demons are tryna eat thru the girl

or son of satan tryna escape thru that woman

Well, he didn't rip the lungs out of Constantine, just the tar/cancer that was inhabiting them, to give him more time.

     Well here's my review on the movie... Nice movie, not much of the usual cliches... the hero was an anti-protagonist... definitely mostly not about the leading lady... bad guys help the main character, angel Gabriel was an adrogyne antagonist, and God is still a hypocrite, as He always was. So much profanities: middle fingers, a-hole and the like, to reach a certain cool factor to the young audience. The theme was more on taoism (there's no good without the bad... blah... blah...)

     I may sound a lil sarcastic and bored, but I did like the movie. Oh I got this from the movie... I'm a very good listener... Yeah it was that exorcism chant...

sorry but i hate it when people like Fluxx take such a pessimistic view on stuff. theyve always got to nit-pick about stuff bringing about the mistakes in anything or try to 'analyze' something to the point that they make it look like something bad. acutally thats the best film that has been put out recently. they actually made something new. everybody is busy imitating everybody else and somebody comes along with something new for once. thats what makes a good movie. make something that nobody else has made.

ok here is my two cents...constatine was entertaining but if you want to see the whole demon takes over the world movie ya also gotta see prophecy (first one), it has demi but seventh sign was good two, hell boy for more of a comic take on it..but i would see constatine just for what it is..fun (plus rachel weiss is GORGEOUS!!!)

I havn't seen Constantine yet, i've been wanting to see it for a while, my brother said it was pretty good though :)

It was a good movie. The ending was a little disappointing, but overall, it was a good movie.

I've seen it and loved it. Actually one time I saw it with my friend and then again with my dad. Its very good. The whole idea is just genious. Hell and heaven fighting on earth, you know its happening in real, you see it everyday. Fights and police trying to sort things out, murder, deat death death...its everywhere

This film has a very interesting concept, and like most other movies, always look at the "smaller picture". Heh. ;)
