well i mean we are not supposed to love or are we??....in all the movies vampires fall in love with mortals but do we fall in love with them cause we know that they are so vonrable or are we really IN LOVE??....

In all depends on what your view of a vampire is, and whether you think you are one.

If you believe that the vampires of books and films are what you are, then the answers to your questions isnt here, its in those films.

Like the Hollywood killing the vampire thread, if you believe that a vampire is a charasmatic goth getting chased aorund by a high blonde high-school student, then Hollywood hasn't killed vampire, its fed your imagination.

I see a vampire as a much broader spectrum of beliefs. Im not going to write it down as I take the time to write it again and again and nobody ever bothers to read it.

In conclusion. I have the ability to love. I do love. But maybe according to you Im not a vampire.

I read it, Echo. I agree with you. Love is an emotion and do you really think they are without emotions? I don't think of vampires whether the characters in a book, someone who claims to be one, or an actor in a movie as vulnerable, either.

I believe it is possible for a vampire to have an actual "love" for someone. Let me see if I can try to explain what I mean. Speaking as a vampire by lifestyle I still hold human emotion very close to my heart. Therefore I still love, hate, envy, and all those other emotions... However, a true Vampire (one who is what we all believe a vampire to be) when first turned should hold on to some of these feelings right? Say for example I was turned into a true Vampire and I hated what I had become and had nothing but hate for anything. There is a proven theory that states for every action there is a opposite, yet equal reaction. So if I am filled with nothing but hatred and anger, the I must also have the emotions of love and compassion. I am sorry I tried to make it short but I kinda makes sense do I not?

The term 'love' can be used so loosely now a days but this is my 50 cents. Vamps in books loose something of themselves that can never truly return. That is warmth, of the body and of the soul. I truly believe that vamps in books envy those mortals that are truly able to feel and therefore wish to be with them if not be like them.anyway, for those humans that call themselves vampires, then yes, Life is a never ending cycle. What you put comes back to you threefold and that includes finding happiness or what seems like it.

Ofcourse... Anyone can fall in love... if they want to... Don't listen to steriotypes that say you can only do certain things and can't do others because of "what you are"... Have a back bone and do what you wish... Damn I hate steriotypes...

Yes they can love, cuz one loved me once but, I havent seen him, in 3 years now . . .
Love is a trick of the mind, caused by chemicals . . . . ofcoarse I believe that only so I wont be hurt.
