today i was hanging out with my friend and we went down to the river and there were a ton of cops and people there.... come to find out... they were looking for a 14 yearold kid that had drowned 38 minutes before we had gotten there....
have any of you people ever seen a dead person just after they died???? and how did it make you feel?????
my grandma my mom wanted me to see her, i went in another room and cryed it was freaky
I have not physically seen a dead person, but many of my cats have died in my arms. It makes me feel like dying as well.
I can't believe I forgot about my Grandma, her brother, and my stepdad's father! I saw all them after they died. I felt the same way.
I have seen and held a dead person in my arms a few times and all I could do was cry and to this day every new years eve I cry for the loss of my friends and ex gf who died in my arms 8 years ago next new years
I've seen many!
Floaters are the grossest thing ever .. whole reason why I stopped schooling!
I had the misfortune of finding a body in one of the apartments at the complex I work at. I was called to do a courtesy check with the paramedics. He was like that for a couple days, was very uncomfortable.
I have seen my fair share of deceased ppl and wish never to expeirence it again.
I've been to many funerals, but never just stumbled across a body before. I don't find it disturbing, it's part of life.
I have to agree with nightangel
oddly calm is about the best wording I could say.....
I tend to get some clinical detachment in those type of situations...
I love dead people...
They rock...
Actually, I've seen tons of dead bodies...
It's worth sitting in a hospital for....
I had a friend who died violently in my arms, and it was very traumatic at the time. But now it has been 22 years, and he is still here with me. Death can be a good thing, or very harrowing. It depends on the situation and who. We had a few shootings in my old neighborhood-saw a 16 year old kid shot. Dead people dont scare me-I find them very peaceful.
yes my mother after her murder i witnessed..............................
My grandfather, just after he died. I was among the first to see him.
I was sad and relieved for him but seeing a dead body wasn't disturbing at all.
And my hamster, Noggles, ice cold and motionless. That scared me more than seeing my grandfather
i was in dc and a man was shot in the head 50 feet in front of me
....watching him twitch was fun
i have. i was visiting my friend last year out in prarieville and there were like 5 other dudes there too. we were gonna go over to max's house and hangout and my friend ross skated over on his skateboard. when we crossed the stree a drunk sped by, didnt c him and hit him. ross skid on the concrete road for about 60 feet, broke both arms and 1 leg. his face was mutilated nose ripped off and his right ear ripped off. he died instantly. like 20 minutes later the drunk came back didnt even realize he hit sum1 and was arrested. pretty sad. next day almost evry1 from school skipped to go to funeral.
after these life you can have life if you are dead after these life thats your choice.
My mother and I drove by and accident right as we went past the white cloth over the hood blew up and I saw the corpse of a man... It blew down in seconds... It was a long time back but I remember being touched... Not like it was inspirational but like the relization that was the end to life...
its just kind of strange cuz i never thought about what i should be thinking when a person dies right in front of me.... until yesterday.... and i think the way some of you people talk.... you just sound like your fool of shit....
When I was small (14 years old) my sister was murdered. I saw her body and it drove me crazy for a few years. Ive never seen another persons dead body up close after that.. I dont know if I really want to, might bring back back memorys...
Yes I've seen all my family members who were dead, and the first time was when I was 8 years old.I saw my grandpa. It freaked me a bit at first, and used to have nightmares but now am ok.I'll still want to see my family members or friends when dead, cause it would be the last time I'll seen them, and it's like a goodbye for me.
My grampa died at the house while I was asleep in the room next to his, weird thing was that I didnt cry for him and I was only seven years old. I saw it, besides the fact that it was my grampa, it was kinda cool to see a dead body.
In addition:I don't dislike seeing dead people, but I would be scared if I was alone with a dead body!
nope have never seen a dead body before, dont think id be scared if i did see it though, dunno why
I once found someone that had been mauled to death by a mountain lion. Mountain lions are very common where I live. But I have also seen alot because I shadow the forensic pathologist in my town.
I have seen several.....family funerals..but I don't know if those count.
Seen several accidents, someone dead in the road....and worked on a medic bus (ambulance). Been to calls of DOA transport, and had people die when I was there, trying to help them.
I am calm, detached. I don't let anything show. Usually I am alright afterwords.
I saw someone DIE...or PEOPLE die...one shot..point blank..because he was running away from the cops...caught PLANTING pot..at the (haha) Cemetery..
three rammed down an electric post while driving a BIG truck..and bang! bye bye people..I was there...
No shit about those...
=)
I actually saw one of my friends killed right in front of me.. That will scar you for life.. for about the first 10-15 minutes they still look the same then their apearance starts to change.. it's so scary. And nothing is colder then a corpse.. But yea.. they are not easy to look at. Espically if there is sever damage to the body.
i saw a murdered man, they had moved him, but he looked very peaceful, and i remember not distrubed one way or the other
i've never actually seen a dead person before but i think if i did i be a little freaked out
hahahahaha.... in this world of ups and downs, you have to expect ups and downs.... - jeremy bowen
this must be one of those things you can expect to see once in your life....
Only my pets, and I have usually known that they are dead before I have seen them, as I get a feeling. Its always been horrible.
ive only seen dead family members....not my favorite thing but i know that they are in a better place
i havent seen people dead right after they died but i want to...perhaps i should kill someone and the see what it feels like to see him die ... muhahahaha
i've never seen a dead person right after they died but i have seen a dead person.
nope i nvr saw a dead person.. at all.. except on tv but that doesnt count so.. i think i would b very sad...and weirded out... but the dead r nice!
yes I have, a 16 year old kid was missing in the lake I was partying at, I was their when they pulled him out. It was not a pretty sight. as far as what I fealt, I was glad he was found, and fealt terrible for his family.
my mother was killed by a drunk driver...she wasn't DOA she lingered in the ER for alittle while...perhaps to say g'bye to family...when i went in to see her...being the last child of hers...i was holding her in my arms hugging her when she died...i didn't cry...but to this day i still visit her grave and talk to her...is very comforting.
when i was four i remember being at the hospital and seeing my grandpa right before he died...i also remember being in the funeral home and kneeling in front of his casket and staring at him for a very long time........in 6th grade i saw my cousin scott died on feb 14th of a heart attack and i went to his funeral. i was strangely calm and had almost no emotions for the longest time.......in 8th grade i remember waking up early in the morning on feb 17th and feeling horribly sad and depressed only to find out later in the day that my other grandpa in CA died at the same time i had woken up.......and then this year on Feb 25, i was shocked to find out my uncle Art in CA died....but i didn't get to see him or my grandpa after they died since they were cremeated.........
I do alot but its because I work in a hospital, but for in normal everyday outside of work life, I never have yet
oh, and i have also seen two people at school before they died. in 8th grade, towards the end of the year...i saw my friends cousin earlier in the morning when school first started.....later that day she collapsed and died in gym class from a heart problem. then in 9th grade, (about 11 months after the girl died) i saw one of the guys from school the day before he died. the day he died i was gone, but he collapsed in gym class and later died at the hospital......my school was pretty depressing for a long time...it's still very sad to think about it
i saw my grandfather the day before he died of a heart attack. when i saw him laid out at the funeral it was so much of a shock.
Seeing freshly dead people is something I'm accustom to... to the average person it might be a life changing ordeal
Seen my share. Oddly calming, but not something I'd want to encounter on a regular basis.
i never saw my grandfather but he was i know he was there 6 months after he died on my moms birthday i made a cake and put like 15 candles on it brought it out and said make a wish when she did she blew them out and each candles relit i asked her what the hell did you wish she said funny you got the relightable candles right NO i did not she wished my grandfather was there with her to celebrate talk about freaky
I seen my mother die infront of me. I still remember the color of her eyes right before death. Her eyes were green but, now they were a lifeless pale gray. When she closed her eyes I could feel that she had passed. I felt lost but, had to stay strong for my dad.
yeah nothing much i worked in a butcher shop so death with people or animals dont bother me i just think life goes on and they got less bills to pay lol
A friend of mine commited suicide....was horrible & the smell was even worse...........of course he hadn't just died. He been dead 3 days.......nuff said. :-(
i had a cousin die in my arms after being thown from a car its not pretty
I agree......there's nothng about death that's spectacular like hollywood would love for you to believe........esp. if it's a death from a tragic way or violent way...like the above mentioned.
