I have read a story about a top model in the United States. Her name was never given. All that is said about her was that she was "The Girl With The Hungry Eyes". She was only photographed by 2 photographers. What I want to know: 'Is this a true story about a female vampire or is it just a story?'
Thanks for any and all help.
although I do not know the truth to that story i think of it 'unlikely' because of the 'no publicity' rules within the 'true' vampire community such attention could be unharmonious to thier secret society and being that they age whole lot slower than humans age, it seems unwise of highly wise beings such as the modern vamps
that is interesting, i never heard about that
it could be a vampire and yet a girl that just didnt like to be seen
who knows...
The Girl with Hungry Eyes, The only thing I've ever heard was about the movie made in '93 I believe, About a Vampire, She goes to the studio of a photographer and models for him.
hmmm well you know flux....if such an organization were to have such a rule...it is still possible for an individual to break said rule.....
....with those nasty vampire police? unless its to die for 'I dont think so' lol
[slaps self upon hand -2x]
how do i forget such things. only few truely know of the real secret society -much less thier 'laws'
; )
it's story.....
I forget the Author, but I was planning on using the plot (giving full credit to the author) for a story. My telling would have been from her point of view.
but it's a well known story......and the author is quite famous.
So.......in the theme of the TV show "Beyond Belief" (Sci-Fi channel)
FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never heard anything of the story until now. But it gives you great wonder.
I've heard about the story,
How do they know shes a 'vampire' i ask?
did they see her kill someone, if so why didnt they turn her in!
thats just publicity bullshit
I think if there was even a little bit of evidence this girl was a vampire then it would have been a lot more high profile than it is.
ok looked around and this is what I found........but, I can't read it.......not my language.....

Thanks for all your information. This is what I know aobut her.
She was photographed by only photographers and they never saw her come or go from the studio. She was always on time. She would not tell anyone her name or address.
I just wanted the opinion of others to whether or not she was real or just a story.
Maybe she did. we can't have a closed mind about this.
i have never heard this story either, besides of this thread. Sounds very mysterious -I love mystery.
Do not know about this story but would like to hear more. I must go out and seek if this story is true !!
...i heard a story and it ran in Life magazine about a muslim girl who had the most beautiful haunting green eyes. the photographer never got her name and many years passed when he decided to try and find her. it took a huge search, but finally they found her and she had grown into a woman and mother...but she still had the most beautiful green eyes! i'm sure a few here remember this...
i have yet to here anything on this but i dont think there would be any truth to like the above mentioned have said
haven't heard anything of such a thing, but it's not impossible that she does excist....
oh you got me curious, i will have to check it out and get back to you
I've never heard of that story, it sounds interesting though. But I doubt she was a vampire... Actually I doubt it's even true.
all storys are based on some truth so parts of the story may be true but we may never know
i`ve heared a story just like the one u told us about... but it was not real... not the one i know about...
Who knows... there are so many myths rummaging around these days... if it is real however, it would be intriguing to learn more...
Well I think it is unlikly cause all the publicity would cause disruption in the vampire community they tend to like to stay out of the limelight
Maybe we are all being a bit quick to assume that because she was described this way, that she's a vampire.
the saying "anything is possible" is WAY too optomistic.
This is the first I have heard of anything like this. I wil research it. However I doubt that a "real" vampire would allow themselves to be put into that kind of situation. I know I would not.
This is an interesting low budget horror/vampire flick. It's based on a famous short story that I wouldn't mind reading sometime. It also has a nice, sexy, sweaty Miami Art Deco setting. this is a right up about the movie from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113175/combined this web site
i have never hard of her so i could not tell you sorry deary
There is a very playful nature in some who are, or perhaps simply believe themselves to be, Vampires. Not everyone who is, lets say practicing the lifestyle of vampire thinks the they should stay completely in the shadows. Stories like this one, placed carefully, are what keep people remembering and seeking and believing and fearing.
A previously visited thread asked what we looked for in our prey. Many said want or willingness. The intrest in vampire kind breeds want.
I say that it is fully possible.
Even tho the possibabley of her not being a vampire whats to say that she isnt a spirit? Just my opinion :D
I don't think she existed. It would be neat if she did. ^.^
It's story!!!!!!!!!
if you google: "The Girl With The Hungry Eyes" you will find the dude who wrote it and a bunch of his stories.
It's fake!
It's a good story thou...... :)
Wait a second; They never got a name or address. Did she do this for free? I mean, they had to make the check out to someone, or some number. Either way that's a paper trail.
This is the plot which I found off a website:
Plot: Louise Balfour, a woman who hung herself at Miami’s The Tides hotel in 1937, is resurrected as a vampire in the ruins of the hotel in the present-day. The voice of the hotel inside her head drives her to go out and devour human blood. She goes to the studio of the photographer Carlos who is under pressure from hoods to pay up owed money and models for him. But then when people are startled by her camera presence and demand that she be made a feature model, Carlos becomes obsessed with finding her again.
Hope this helps shed some light on the story...
I had never even heard of the story. It's an interesting one...
if she is like most vamps or weres for that matter it is probally not true since most of the world believes we don't exist I think that for the part (and this may just be me ) we stay in the shadows to avoid being purcicuted so I think that it is most certainly not true.
Hmm, i have never heard that one. It would be interesting to know the truth...as unlikely as it does sound, anything's possible.
If that story was true then there should be plenty of pictures of her
it is possibleas far as the girl i do remember how ever beyond belive also tellinga story about a guy who was brought into a hospital on the east coast and all of the blood they had was disappearing and he did as well that was a FACT from what they said
i've never heard of it but now yu've inspired me i'll have too resaerch it some time
