I am in no way delusional enough to believe that I am or ever will be a supernatural undead. I drink blood, plain and simple. It gives me no special powers, nor does it make me immortal. But the mystery and legengs are interesting, and if people wish to act them out, I don't see that it's hurting anyone.

By the way the Goth scene is a great thing and I wouldn't miss it for the world. But the farthest thing in my mind is that I am a real Vampire. This is not meant to knock Goths; this is meant to understand why someone would truly think they are a Vampire.

Blood drinking is a choice and I can not argue with that but I truly believe that some do think they are Vampires and that is the argument

In one of my posts I stated that you have ten people in a line and tell the first one that the sky is blue and clouds are white and by then time it gets to the tenth person he/she will tell you there is Sky Vodka and blue clowns.

People nothing against the site or the fantasy of being a Vampire but the realization that people truly think they are one.

Actually Vampyrism and Vampyres really do exist, but not in the fashion as made to believe in movies, books, games and such.

We, as in Strigoi Vii, as a term used for Living Vampyrism are a people who have some sort of spiritual energy problem. Which, in turns causes us physical weakness as our own souls use our bodies life energy to fuel it, in turn, we have to find other means to fuel our own bodies, trying to keep ourselves from feeling phsyically weak.

I'm writting down some stuff from the teachings of the Black Veil, the Strigoi Vii stuff, if anyone wants to look in my journal, under personal, you get to see what I have put down so far.

I do not make people believe, that is the problem with now a days, people want to see to believe, instead of feeling it, understanding what it is that is true. I just what I know and what I read, and let everyone make their own judgement on what they want to believe.

i believe they do exist however i am not one.

I am a vampire, however I donnot believe that I have immortality or any special abilities, It is my belief that I am able to obtain a certain energy when feeding on blood and on the energy of emotions. Vampirism has been mocked by many and most of what people go on is what the legends that the movies are based on come from, however science joining my brothers and sisters, I can tell you that most of what people know about us is far from true. I look and act like anyone else I have a job and friends but that doesn't mean that I go around killing others and suducing others, and any other myths that are associated with the vampire community.

I don't believe vampires as you see them in the movies or anything exist but I am ready to fight them , just in case they decide to fight by the mutant zombie fairies when they attack ! :)

Many think that vampirism is something much as you've seen on t.v....

Look at the smaller picture, my friends. Hollywood has downed so much of what we are into some supernatural freaks. How can you believe in the "Holy Ghost" and not believe in ghosts? Vampires have always existed, along with many other "mythical" creatures, but not in the way Hollywood has it. Bloodlines have been diluted much since Medieval days. You feel hungry for blood? For flesh? Do you have a tendency to just "know"? And you think this might be coincidental?

Listen to your soul. Listen to the energy that drives you and forget what all the mainstream humans have to say. You are what you are. You will live forever even if your body is not immortal. Your powers are not like Hollywood portrays, but are just diluted by lack of belief and society.

I'm not sure if I believe I'm a true vampire. I love drinking blood though. It gives me such a rush, I love it. This may sound kind of dorky... but I love role playing that I am a real vampire.

although i do beleive they exist i know for a fact i am not a vampire, although i get major urges to bite people(mainly the girl i like) i do not drink blood, i am not a vampire. my occupation is to be kept secret.

The vampires you see in movies and read about in books are mostly based on the old legends, with your typical Hollywood additions. I don't believe the undead vampires ever really exsisted. They're ways for people to express long-held fears of the dark and the unknown. There have been those throughout history that have believed that blood gives them powers or immortality, Countess Elizabeth Bathory was one. She used to bathe in the blood of young girls. It's these types that ruin things for the rest of us.

But as far as fantasies go, there are a lot worse out there.

isnt it completly f***ed up how holywood takes things and messes with them just for profit. makes me wanna go on a killing spree. or maybe an online first person shooter killing spree. (goes down to room and pops in u.s. navy seals)

well...I will hang my shirt on the line and say that I believe they exist and I have my reasons for it.

It's ashame that people do really believe they are vampires. That by drinking blood and doing all the other things mentioned that vampires do they are Vampires. Drinking blood is ok some people get a rush doing, some enjoy the taste, some do it to for shits and giggles, I do it for the reason I like the taste of blood. I am not addicted to it. I just crave it like I would a candy bar or a soda. I do not believe I am a vampire. I do stay out late at night I do wonder the streets but my beliefs are not insane to search and destroy for blood. I love the night life. If you go into my profile to read about who I am. You will find nothing but a storyline a pretty good I will say so myself. The quizes are all true that is how I feel inside but do not show it to the world it's my on pain and suffing. I pity those who truly believe they are vampires and that they try to act like them. Not the ones who say they are !!

I think there's nothing wrong with people having wild and imaginations. Wanting to escape the general slog of every day life, with a delve into the dark underworld. It is when they confuse myth with reality, we have problems...

I myself believe there is a dark underworld that exists as there are drug scene, sex scene, and many others as far as actually living dead leave that to the movies I think hollywood has truly fucked up the true conceptoin of the "true" vampyre it really sucks

Dhampir and darkAdmin, i understand what you are both saying, but there is a big difference between the film and mythical vmapires, and the ideas of self-discovery and utilising energy that can be found on many sanguine sites.

I think this is the difference between 'vampires' so many epople think that they are Lestat, or are trying to impress others, that they dont stop to think about other ways of going about things.

Vampires exist just as much as you do. Bloodlines have been thinned as mating with humans progressed through time. If there was one vampire in your ancestry, you will have vampire blood in you.

Same goes with witches, werewolves, etc.

I feel sorry for you if you don't believe it is possible.

I must agree with some of the ppl on this thread. It is sad that so many believe and only know about the myth. Not the truth. to me this is due to lack of knowledge. But then there is a piece of vampiric writing that says not to parade it around. I have a question to all should you teach others about this or just let them remain ignorant towards it. Personally myself I drink blood hell I feed upon energy at times aswell. But that doesn't make me one. There are other qualities that i posess that make it so. This is my opinion. Yes, Vampirism is a religion and therefore I respect it; to a limit. I understand that Vampirism has its rules but techinally you're not what Hollywood has set for vampire. A good example of vampirism is in the book 'The Embrace' by Aphrodite Jones. i love that book.

I would just love to meet a real vampire. It seems so exciting. I'm fascinated by them, and that is how I feel.

If anyone has ever tried to research on the other side of the bible, after Cain slain Abel, they would find the Book of Nod which will explain that Cain was indeed the very first Vampire. He was cast into the ground by God and the only thing he had to eat and drink was his own blood, and anything else the Underground would provide.

Real Vampirism, doesn't have anything to do with immortality, we live and die due to old age, we just, have a spiritual hole within us that takes energy from our physical bodies, in which case, we need to take energy from others to feel healthy.

I am sensitive to the sun light,like a lot the gothic scene and for 3/4 of my day I lack of energy,like vampire books and movies but I will never believe am a vampire.

Anyway everyone is free to fantasise and believe in what they want,who cares.

Blood drinkers can drink other blood to satisfy there crave but they choose human blood. Sun sensitive conditions are a medical condition and I believe they are rare cases.

People choose to do things. I am a great fan of the sunlight but because of my eyes not being what they use to be the sun tends to hurt me a bit. But I don't go running into my cave waiting for the night. Vampirism is a cult/religion and as any religion it fills the void that sits within us.

vampires are very intriguing...i think most can say that. now i would love the idea of vampires actually existing but right now i am not sure if they do or not. i do not call myself a vampire and i do not judge those who believe they are whether they arent or are. besides..why would you question someone who just wished to get away from reality? don't you have certain things you do to dismiss all thoughts of the real world even for an instant? just because you dont live in a fantasy world doesnt mean you are better than those who wish to be something other than themselves.

Secondly... I do believe that Vampires exist. A legend so ancient must have some small truth at it's root. I believe myself to have Vampiric tendencies...not so much in the Hollywood way; however...I do draw energy from certain situations. I do not drink blood. I am fascinated with it in a respect...but I do not feel I need to ingest it to survive. I draw energy from certain people. Also, I find I draw a great amount of energy from sex...one of the members, Cade, says that this is sexual vampirism. I am a Druid...it has always been my practice to perform sex magic....okay I guess I'm off the subject. I do apologise. My point is that I believe Vampirism to be a state of mind. Is that so wrong?

i have my own theory, vampires are to eat ash and drink blood, just to throw my cards on the table do we not all get born from ash and turn to ash when we die do we not all drink water which in turn is the blood of the earth? there is no harm in make believe and maybe if you look into things and see them from a differnt angle, some things may rise to the surface.

ok, this is my opinion on the whole vampire thingy:

many ppl like to pretend that they are vampires and really theres nothin wrong with that. but the truth is that by doing this, your making it seem that there are NO true vampires. well ill tell u this,.... there are! u can believe what u want but i once believed too that vampires where just a myth, though i often wished that they were real. but then, some years down the road, when i started to realize that i was not like most ppl, a very good friend of mine put it into more simple terms for me, she told me about how there are different kinda of vampires (and she didnt need to explain TOO much cuz by then i already realized that if there WERE real vampires then they obviously werent like the ones depicted in horror movies). then she showed me this sight. well, so far i have had an awakening and also a type of re-awakening (lets face it, to some ppl, its kind of a lot to take in). i have severe depression, mostly nocturnal, can sense basically every type of energy that u transmit and a number of other things. keep in mind that if u have some of the symptoms of vampirism, this does not necasarilly mean that your a vampire. but most of the time youll just have that gut feeling. ive had that feeling ever scince i was about 6 or 7 but never could figure out why i was feeling this way. then, just recently, i discoverd it. i believe that i may be an unintentional psy. im still learning things about me though, infact each and everyday i discover something new! well anyways, it sadens me how many ppl have totaly the wrong idea about it all! then again ignorance is bliss. the ppl that are ignorant about these types of things, probably arent capable of taking it all in. (so, too bad for them! lol)

if vampires are believed to be fictional then how can anyone (that isnt one) actually have the "right" definition. the truth is that there are many definitions for the word vampire. (some cant be found in any books, but deep inside your soul) as for me- im not sure if i believe in the type that raise from the dead to go on death rampages and suck u completely dry! (a little to much darma for me!) i also hardly belive that if your a REAL vampire that youll burst up in flames or drop dead or sumthin like that if you are caught in sunlight! a REAL vampire for me is just a normal person (as it seams) going through vampiric like symptoms that arent brought on by a real medical disorder (they must be genuine!) and so if u went by my "definition" of vampire then sure, its possible that they may and probly do exist! Gah, i dont think im immortal. i just take on a vampiric lifestyle and thats considered a vampyre. i like blood. but since i have a prince, i can only take blood from him. i only want his. therefore i dont take his life because i dont want to. little tastes are beautiful. and he thinks my blood is addicting, and he can smell my blood sometimes, just standing in front of me with no open wounds. By the way , I shall never EVER be dust. I will be ash. Cremation is respectful.
