Do you believe that all vampirism is physiological based or do you believe all or some vampires are indwelt by vampire spirits?

how can you be sure? if you think its spirits, it could just be your way of not admiting to the truth about yourself that its really psychological..
but then again, if you think thats it psychological, could it be also you not wanting to admit in spirits?

I believe in both. Many spiritist(sp?) theories talk about vampiric 'spirits' that persecute one or several people. I also believe there are pranic vampires that 'feed' during sleep, through dreams, and astral projection. They don't have to be necessarely alive to do that.

It is a very plausible theory.. thinking of psi vampirism for one...

In fact there's the possibility I had one, two years ago.

I personally feel that a vampire spirit is the answer, but then again one might develop the abilty tp take up energy, without having a vampiric spirit, though then i dont really think that adds up to being a vampire.. just a thought

I believe in reincarnation personally, so this question is something I've considered before.

I think that a vampire spirit moves through out time. Sometimes it is more apparent than others, depending on the circumstances and the will of the flesh that binds it...

I can astral travel and feed psychically that way, so you could say I'm a type of succubus. However, when I speak of vampire spirits, I am talking about the same kind of spirit lilyrose is speaking of. These spirits do move through time and choose a host. Now, as far as the origin of the spirits, I have no idea! Who created them? Are they the spirits of Lilith's children who passed on? I would love to know.

Some people identify themselve as vampire spirits, in that, they remember past incarnations...the vampire spirit is more dominant than the host's spirit if the host even has a spirit (spirit vs. soul I guess - not sure on that one either ).

I think for some people, vampirism may be genetic. I think for some vampirism may be caused by an enzyme from another vampire's bodily fluids.

Just as humans have been plagued by spirits from the beginning of time, I am sure that there are vampyric spirits that can move throughout time.. selecting who they wil inhabit.... perhaps from a certain bloodline...and perhaps this is where the myth of immortality came from......from people being inhabited by these vampyric spirits...not a researched fact or anything, just my thoughts.

It could be a number of things, these two included. It's really what ever that particular entity beleives.

I believe that it is a little bit of both. I have vampirism in my soul, but I also find light to be exceptionally bright usually (mainly sunlight; how tedious it is) and I do hunger for blood and energy, so that is why vampirism can exist both in the spiritual sense and the physiological sense as well.

I think I was born as a vampire where it came from I do not know but I am glad to be one.

I think that there are i bit to many vampire spirits but thats not a problem because the past 1's have died and are now eating the still roaming ghosts possibly anyway but thats just another opinion
