It sort'of worked on the TV show "Charmed" but on "Smallville?"
It seems that this Thursday, Oct 27 on the WB 8/7c, that Clark will be meeting his first Vampires.
"Thirst"
Lana (Kristin Kreuk) decides to enroll at Metropolis University at the last minute and is forced to join a sorority to find housing at such a late date. However, her new sorority sisters offer her more than a place to crash after they turn her into a vampire and instruct her to kill Clark.
Is every show going to have vampires on them now? I can't wait until the new Underworld comes out. Please save me..
Lol.It can be irritating to see all these yada yada and bs shows about vampires.Anywa tv is fiction and business,so let it show whatever it wants.Even in cartoons vampires are shown lol.
I just find it a cheap shot at Vampires. Just because it is close to Halloween WB has to a 'holiday show.' I mean, why not the attack of the killer clowns instead?
coz it seems to be that you can make the most money out of vampyres ;)
and i have to agree it is a really cheap shot, smallville and vampyres. whats next, vampyres reading the news? lol
Exactly. It's a Halloween show. :-) I like Smallville. Actually, I'm sort of hooked on it. Sort of. However...comma
We're talking about introducing vampires on a a show about a guy who can fly, run faster than the eye can follow and shoot heat beams from his eyes. Nothing wrong with that. LOL
LOL@jasons reply .
you gotta expect this kind of thing the closer you get to halloween nothing wrong with new and different ideas. yes i agree at times hollywood/media does exploit vampires in a rather nasty light but we know we arent all bad .so maybe view this episode with a sense of humor and think of it from a younger frame of mind and heart hehe
cheesy it might be but it might not be we wont know til it airs hehe
Hmmm! Suppose I will watch it being I love smallville and see how they are portrayed this week. *smiles*
We don't get this show where I live, and judging by comments here the show is not going to be very far travelled neither! Is it a kiddies program?
People are going to show what they want to show there is no way of stopping it we just have to deal with it.....just let people know that it is stupied trust me more people then you think will agree with you
So what's next, a vampire on Sesame Street......oh yeah, nevermind. LOL
Emaerald, Smallville hits the same demographic as "Buffy". Its Superman, just out of HighSchool now. 1st year University.
I like Smallville too. Well at least now I do. The last couple of seasons have....sucked (no pun intended). It'll be interesting to see how they do this. It's the WB so I'm not expecting much.
LMAO at Domangelus...dude...please...besides, like we all say-tis the season-and I did rather enjoy the charmed episode-but never much got into smallville-
Don't watch Smallville. Watch Charmed every week. I don't see the big deal. If vampires weren't popular on T.V or books most people wouldn't be here to start with. P.S, Batman v.s. Dracula was on the Cartoon Network the other night.
Well Smallville has turned out not to be much of a success..
