Whats your opinion of Anne's best published book. love to know your thoughts on this.
What is Anne Rice's best published work?
There are so many books written about so many different subjects.
true. well to put it this way which one have you read over and over more than the others that you enjoy reading?
i read Interview with the Vampire about twice a year, i just love the book!
i think they're really good too. ok so some more insight what is the most intense and interesting part?
In "Servant Of The Bones" The most intense part for me is when the main character "Azriel" is made into "The Servant Of The Bones!!!"
Read the book to see what it feels like to be "boiled" in a vat of gold" And reduced to a pile of bones!!!!
i'm pretty sure that wouldn't be pleasent, i wouldn't want that to happne to me either or anyone else i know.
sorry i cant choose cause i liked all of them
so far i have read most of them twice cause i love to read it over and over
I haven't actually read much by Anne Rice... I read one book because there was nothing else at my mom's to read, (the second book in the Mayfair Witches trilogy) and it was so good I couldn't put it down! Then I had to go get the other 2 books in the series... I'm not sure which was actually the best: I passed them on to other family members to read...
But I have to admit that I did read the second book in the series twice!!!
yea really thats the thing. when you start to read a good book with heaps of interesting things you just can't stop till you finish that book or the whole series.
dont think ive read anything by her
Jason Edit: Then why post at all? Knock this shit off.
Anne Rice has written so many books and all of them are good I can not just pick one as her best they are all her best books
its probably a predictable answer but i liked interview with a vampyre the most.
Cry to Heaven, The Mummy, The Witching Hour and Servant of the Bones- i reread these books most often between new finds
Iv'e read everything minus her sleeping beauty series, and some 2 or 3 times.
Although I have favorites they are all good in different ways.
me personally i can not pick just one book...i have read a total of 4 of her books and i loved all of them...so i cant pick one as a favorite....
The Vampire Lestat. I read it three times one year, always felt it was the best in the Vampire chronicles.
I loved The Vampire Lestat! It took me into a whole different world pretty much. I like the way she makes the reader feel the emetions of the characters too. Its great. I'm also reading the rest of the Vampire Chronicles (in order) I'm on The Tale fo the Body Thief.
I think that Anne Rice's best vampyre novel was the Queen of the Damned, but then again, that's the only book i've ever read by her....
i've only read blackwood farm. i was looking for a good vampire book. lol didn't know it had a whole series before it and it's the 2nd from last book, but from what i read with the time i was given, it was probably the best book i've ever read. and the only one by her. but i intend to read more of her stuff.
I have read all of her books up until this new one she has written. Her best yet that I have read thus far is The Vampire Lestat. It tells us that Lestat is not the bad guy that Louis made him out to be in the first one. It makes us understand the brat prince a little better and what he stands for.
well i have most of her books on my book shelf and well once ever so offen i talk them all out and read each and ever y one for the Complete Vampire Chronicles to Vittorio, the Vampire and Merrick witch are my to all time fav
I adored them all! Interview is the most addictive, armand is the sexiest, blood and gold is the most revealing, thgey all have different qualities that draw you in.
well all her books are great! personally like exit to eden and the beauty trilogy.
I like queen of the Damned the Best because of all the different characters and different views.
I recently got finished reading The Mummy and thought that was good, too.
Ya Interview with a vampire and Queen of the Damned are my two all time faves, but I like the way she takes you on a journey and makes you "feel" what that first time is like to feed for Lestat, his disgust and remorsefulness mixed with guilt in Interview.
I've only read a few Anne rice books, but my favorites so far are interview with a vampire and The Vampire Lestat
Tale of the body thief was good too. That's the first Anne Rice book I ever read.
We have two Anne Rice threads going.. please comment in the other one. This one can be reopened when the other is eventually closed.. Thanks Cherry!
