I found out, for me at least, that if you drink a sertain amount of milk, and it's quiet a bit, but it controls the body's demand for blood temporarily. I have seen, as well as my (i believe) now suspecting mother, that i drink alot of milk. But if anyone asks questions about your milk intake, don't break, unless they already know.
I believe what the milk has is a relative chi to the human chi, which is found in the blood. I think that this milk chi is fairly weaker, but I must say it dose work if you have no doner.
I have found for me, that 2% milk works. I've never tested the theory on anyone else, mainly in fear that other will discover my secret and i'll get in trouble at school...
Try this and let me know if it works for you... I'd like to know if it can be used on other vampires or if I'm just a random case.
But as for milk, I have also been told by a friend that Green Tea works... I drank one bottle of Gren Tea yesterday, and hense, it is a help. But the suggested ammount of Green Tea intake is two bottles.
But please remember, once your body is used to these replacements, you will become immune to their effect and it will no longer work.
Please tell me what you think and let me know if you have another possible remidy for the connstant problem of Blood Lust.
interesting...but what about ppl like me that can't drink milk??
try the Green Tea solution, it does work... I have yet to learn a third solution, but I am in surch of one now...
I have found that apple juice works quite well to stave off the Hunger on particularly Hungry nights.
i didnt know that the body had a demand on blood intake ?????
I mean when your craving the blood, Blood Lust at it's worst.
If you are so interested, try looking about milk and its effects on blood coagulation.... ;)
I find it a rather poor substitute, for more along the lines of someone who wants to drink blood but can't because they're still a teenager living at home with mommy and daddy, so they make up some silly story about how milk satiates their "thirst" for blood..
But hey that's only my opinion...
you're right, that is just your opinion, so keep that one to your damn self!
Hey I call them as I see them.. I mean if you're truly worried about your parents wondering why you're drinking so much milk.. chances are you're not a true vampire...
i still don't get this....filling your body up with another substance???? sastiates the lust for blood...it just seems like u just get tooo fulll to care....lke if you wanted pizza but didn't have it you could drink like a whole bunch of something and be soo full you could care less....
keep your opinions to yourself if you're going to be like that to fellow members...
don't worry about wat she has to say... she's only got such a strong opinion because her parents didn't pay enough attention to her...
Ok now see I didn't go for personal attacks.. but obviously something I said hit home..
I don't undertsand why you are ruining your own thread because someone disagrees with you.
If you believe that milk satisfies your taste for blood (personally I can't stand milk) then good for you.... but I don't see why your parents opinion on the matter would matter so much.
giggles
go Kagome1692 .....
sorry had to....sill mad at
that somebody who i will not say
called me a wanted-be
honey, if you are going to put forth something in the forum for discussion, then you have to take good and bad-that is the nature of the beast
I have NEVER in my time heard of such idiotic nonsense ...HMMM...ill go drink "milk" (chocolate or strawberry) to satiate my bloodlust...When I have a bloodlust as you call it...and I do understand what it is. I eat a rare steak. So rare that the meat is just barely warmed to body temp. I lick the plate clean...and a steal can cost you as little as $2...a real nice one thatll bleed when warmed is about $4. So please...if you don't have an actually "fact" that milk...does a body good...gets rid of bloodlust because as far as I have ever known...milk curdles the blood. So please...pay more attention when posting a thread. Your responses are ludicrous and your mentality is that of an infant trying to find a popular space in her life...starting it on this site with a BS thought is NOT the way. Milk DOES not satiate nor does it ALLEVIATE a bout with bloodlust...And as far as your parents finding out...well...I guess thats the price you pay to "be what you have become"
Now I guess we'll all be seeing wannabe's saying...Well i drink a gallon a day because of my insatiable thirst for blood... or I drink a gallon of apple juice to cover I am bloodluster...Gimme a break. You dont drink blood because deep down it disgusts you and you cant handle it. Stick to pretending to be an anime character and wait till puberty and common sense kick in.
It is normal to find people who disagree with you,so don't tell people to keep their opinions to themselves that's why this is called a forum.
As for your info heh don't know never heard such thing but that doesn't mean that it can't be possible.
"You should message me sometime, we can help eachother. My Master Lestat is highly knowledgeable. He has taught me many a thing, though arrogent in his wake. But I must tell you, I would not be the one to tell him, lest he kill me... I would rather sleep in the desert at noon then face his rath...
Let me know, I shall pass on his word, if you like....."~Kagome
Now if you mean to tell me this is the thought process of someone that makes thier own thoughts up or is just another part of the herd then feel free to believethat milk applejuice, green tea, uh...red kool aid and whatever else...oh yea...dont forget pepsi will satiate your "hunger" NOTHING SATIATES OR SUBSTITUTES BLOOD WHEN YOU NEED TO FEED. By the way..I dont consider myself a vampire either. You are stuck in a place in your mind where you are confused and easily manipulated. To believe that the white pussy mucus from a bovines utters known as milk will ease your "hunger"...hmmmm.....maybe that's all you were...was hungry...next I guess you'll be telling us that a hotpocket can help too...or maybe a bologna sandwich can help you survive in the sun.
I've read that on a website before...
I did try it, and the only thing it did was make me sick and want blood more.
I feel a Simon Cowls moment coming on but I will spare it.... well, sometimes we all have to have a laugh ;)
there's a big damn difference between being truthful and being harsh....some ppl need to remember if u can't say something nice, don't say anything at all! good post, it shows u aren't afraid to research different options and aren't afraid to speak ur opinion to help other ppl.....i don't know if i agree or disagree with ur theory but well stated :)
In the little time that I've been here all I've know is kindness and open-mindedness. Yet, here I have read personal attacks on one another. I don't understand this mentality but I will say this: think before you speak. *you* very well could be responcible for turning off people to the forums. People that may have great Ideas. You could be casting out the next Anton LaVay or Gardener.
damn Lucious, after that so organic description that you made of milk, I'll never look at it the same way again *laughs*
Well, the only similarity that I find between blood and milk, is the protein contained in both...but milk does not contain the heme cells that seem to drive some people that suffer from a form of porphyria to crave for blood.
In many cases where the crave for blood is infact to get the Chi from the blood, well, when you need blood, you need blood.
When the craving is psychologic, meaning, you like blood, i can't see where milk can help, because what you crave then, is the taste, the smell, the texture, even the ritual. Am I making sense?
Just my oppinion.
ok people...just for the record...and probably the 100th time I have stated this fact...I AM PRICK AND AN ASSHOLE...WHEN I READ AN ASININE "OPINION" THAT IS BEING STATED AS A FACT...YEAH...I BITE. deal with it, for those that see it as a persopnal attack against her...too bad as well. I mean if you can show me medical proof that milk is a substitute for blood...lets say ...uh..in a hospital for example...I guess when they run out of blood the use milk, green tea, and apple juice...right?
Oh...I'm sorry people...Maybe it
's just me that thinks that saying milk can satiate a blood craving is STUPID to say the least...But if I offended some people...oh well...I feel OFFENDED when I read stupid ridiculous posts of milk and blood essentially being one in the same as the properties of feeding goes.
now Im hoping the comment about being truthful and being harsh wasn't intended for me...If people read the thread from the beginning it will show that Kagome only wants to hear people agree with her as she is but a 15 yr old little girl who takes her chances posting in such a forum...like what was said before...you asked for it when you post a thread...don't get huffy...live and learn to verbally defens yourself with knowledge...but I doubt you can yet.
.......nothingsatiates or substites blood, when in need feed. as for me, I cant drink milk yuck it curdles in my stomach right a way and then need to vomit. There are times when we eat a very rare steak , cooking the outside and warming it up ever so slightly. It could be possible that some people can do substitutes for their lust Just like dieting, or stop smoking etc. where one would replace x for y. Mind over matter, if it works for them, that s"great!' thanks for sharing . VR is a learning place.
*smacks lucios upside the head*
You asked for an RIA so you wouldn't get banned. I am just going to smack you around a bit and ask you to be nice.
Some people need their illusions.
but I like being smacked...and I cannot be anything but myself. It's not be polite to idiots week yet....when it is...ill try my hand at it.
Milk chi? Lactose intollerant vampires? What the hell is this, a Jerry Lewis movie?
