So Which Version Of Dracula Do You Think Is Better?
Americanised Dracula 2001 the movie, Dracula By Bram Stoker Or Ye olde Black And White Corny Dracula LMAo
I Prefer Bram Stokers As it's Set In Whitby
Aaaaah Whitby :D
I'd have to agree with you. Bram Stoker's Dracula is much more traditional. I tend to dislike the way hollywood is protraying vampires.
I Know.
They Always Come Out Being Really Corny lol
Stokers Is Much More "beleivable" Anyway For A Christian Based Sociaty Altho All The Chursches neer Here Say It Is A Sin To Believe In Such "tosh" LMAo
(I Did A Project On The Beleifs Of Vampires And Christianoty For School A Few Years Ago LOL)
Shadowedlife is it possible that you could use spell check? :)
Bram Stokers :Dracula aka Francis Ford Coppola's version isn't even close to Bram Stokers actual novel...the beginning of the movie is made up,some scenes were added for dramatic affect. As for the 1931 version,it is based on the stage play that is based on the novel.Coppola's version is MORE Hollywood then most *Dracula* movies, the cast alone is Hollywood.
Yeah Sorry. Might Be A Good idea For me To Spell Check LOL
Yeah I Know. I Meant Stokers Novel Not The Movie. The Movie Isn't Even Set In Whitby i Don't think :(
WOW. I Just re-Read My Post.
I Hadn't Realised There Where that many Spelling Mistakes. i Apologise.
I Tend To Rush So I Don't Check over My Spelling :P
Bram Stoker's
There`s no doubt he`s is the best !!!!!!!!!!
Yeah But How Is Dracula 2001 Good?
To Be Fair, I Liked The Movie, But It's just Not Realistic Enough For me
*twitches looking at the Capitalization*
Well for me I prefer the Olde Nosferatu, but as far as dracula goes, you can't beat the classic Bella Lugosi.
LOL
So You Meen You Prefer The Black And White, Long Cape, White Makeup Versions? LMAO
Personally, I enjoy the personaized version of Dracula within the Requiem game series. Yet, thats my own personal opionon on that.

Bram stokers dracula was awesome... yet as far as vampires are concerned i prefer the ann rice version of vampires (i know its not dracula... but that is just how i like ficiton vampires ) ;)
WOw, Thanks For All The feedback on This Subject :D Good to know Where All of your opinions Stand On This Subject
the last dracula movie was really detailed equaled lots of blood :P yummy
Bram Stoker's was good..... and loved the Bela Lugoisi Dracula - great for its time
yes they are both great drcula movies considering i had to sneak into them both
Bram Stokers Dracula came out in 1992...that made you 2 yrs old....you snuck into it at 2??
never heard of that one geuss i was to young to know of it muahahahahaha i wana see it still lolz
as far as movie dracula's go........Gary Oldman and Dominic Purcel played the best dracula's.
and Bram stoker version is supposed to be a watered down version of how vampires were originaly portrayed from what ive heard.
dominic's drac was old and powerful the way vampires should be.
vampire not being able to walk in the sunlight is just plain stupid.
i like lots of differant versions of Dracula couldnt say which is my favourite named Dracula but Nosferatu is based on the novel so it would be my favourite if it were included
and you have to love the 1931 Bela Lugosi version it has Dwight Frye in it as well!!
Perhaps this might have been a better question as a poll, as there is not really much discussion here.
after loving the real thing, i can't see anyone playing the role acurately, but dracula 2000 was a decent look on how things might have played out for someone he found to remind him of me! lol! but like i said i lost contact with him shortly after i turned him, so i wouldn't know how accurate these tales are!
I fell inlove with Bram Stokers Dracula..
But seeing as I like pretty boys, i'd have to really go with CastleVanias Dracula from thier nintendo 64 releases.
Don't ask.
To be honest, Dracula just doesnt do it for me anymore, neither does Lestat or Armand or Marius and what have you.
Have to go with Stoker's.......Garl Oldmen was freakin awsome......and Anthony Hopkins played the best Van Helsing I have seen thus far....
I prefer Bram Stoker Dracula but the story behind Dracula 2001 explains alot of things if you think about it.
Wait...I re-read the first post
do you mean Wes Cravens : Dracula 2000....not 2001
Hmm well I would probaly have to say Bram Stoker's dracula. Just for the fact that he came first. And he had his own sadisticness about him that I liked.
However I personaly don't like the fact that he could turn into a bat , fog, and I believe a wolf. Perhapse just a bat would be fine but for a vampire I don't like those qualitys.
And I am kind of going on and on here and on a rant but I must say that the movie they made of that was stupid. They did not follow the story line at all. Those jerks
I personally hate Bram Stoker but I must agree that somehow he put Romania on the map...otherwise...
I enjoyed the way Gary Oldman played Dracula in the movie...
I prefer more realism in my vampire flicks, Bram Stokers Dracula i would have to say more than Dracula 2001 however my favorite is the subspecies Series and im sure if radu is out there lurking somewhere and sees this post he would probably agree.
I'm a big fan of the Spanish version of Dracula, filmed in 1931 on the same set at the same time as the Bela Lugosi film, but with an entirely Latino cast.
It was directed by George Melford.
I like the old dracula, It first came out in the 60's or early 50's
WOW!!!
Wasn't Expecting this much feedback :D
Thanks to everyone who had their say
