So I finally saw What the Bleep do We Know? the other day, and it really got me thinking about a lot, yet there is so much more about Quantum Physics to learn, even after watching that show.

My question is, how do you think the universe began? Please support your answer with various tidbits of info, as I'd like to know as much about what everyone thinks as possible. ^_^

Weelllll, first a goddess got really angry at her husband's dalliances and drew out a knife whereupon she severed his . . . no, just joking kiddies. As a creature *of* this universe, I do not often give myself over to wondering about it's creation. The universe is one of the few things out there greater than me.

Personally I think there are periods when there is universe and there is not. The weak force which pulls back the Earth to from where it came I am told is strong, even though we are flying really fast away from the Milky Way and the Milky Wat galaxy is even moving awau from the others who are also moving away from the cneter of the universe. The weak force actualy gets stronger because of a mathemtaical phenomena 1/r squared, where r is the radius or the distance of the Earth from the center of the universe, wherever that is. Because that mathematical constant for the weak force gets stronger the greater the value of r, I believe, as the other scientists do that the Earth and all the other celestial bodies will eventually go back to where they came. All the celestial bodies would probably smash together with the same force, that created them, at the same time. The only exception would be masses trapped in black holes, which I don't thnk have been proven, or the worm holes which are even less feasible but theorized. If black holes do exist, when we can detect them that is, they will be the only thing to prevent the celestial odies from crashing together with the same force that created the universe. So I guess over time, because of black holes detracting from the rubber banding potential of universe destruction and creation, there will come a time when the universe perhaps will never end, because there are so many black holes sucking the energy from life to destroy the rubber banding mechanism.

That is applied science. Doers anyone agree. Or is it just more hot wind?

If so, that what I just theorized is crap, then what theory do you have to offer ladies and gentleman, vamps and vampires. I am on all fours waiting your response.

I believe in what "vampireinthesun99" said.... that's the theory that I had read and in which I believe..... but the other coment of the universe was born with the cave men is kind of right also, because without human mind there wouldn't exist the idea of universe... (In the case there are no more inteligent life form some where else.....)

I personnqly think the univers was not created..it was always there and will always be, but.
It was indeed modeling to suit the need and will of the one who is part of it, the creator the pure energy being. He is the source of all and can make wiht wath it there to make it in what he wants. He has no need but had love so he made us out of pur love and energy then by that he after model things according to our needs.

Thats what I beleive fermy.

The universe probably had to start somewhere at some point with something. I'm not exactly sure how I believe it was created initially but I figure somehow it started out as something small and grew from there. Either that or POOF it was there and then just grew from a big bang maybe. *shrug* I guess I look at it kind of how a pearl grows, slowly and over time it starts out as this small pebble and eventually grows to be something beautiful.

Actually I love the posts of the shadows and the mosquitos the best. They are totally graceful and innocent, unknowing that yet the better their posts get, the more flak they will get, so they still try their best.

Actually, before cavemen there had to be caves. So, who created the caves?

Well, either there is matter or there isn't/ Either there is life or there isn't. We just happen to be in a part of the universe where there is life. There may be vast regions of universe where there is no universe, no matter, and then like deserts that are crossed many universes beyond those deserts. As all things moves because of different concentrations of matter or energy from high pressure to low pressure. The rubber banding effect of big bang probably dances back and forth from the forces in the multiverse.

I really don't have a good scientific dictionary. Can anyone look up just how long an aeon is. Just as there are measures of astrological distance, I think it is called the astrological unit, which has something to do with light years, aeons may be the only way to discuss length of time in astrological die mention s.

I belive in the big bang as well.

What it is is explained here:

Or else there was a sadist and bored spirit who wanted to have fun and decided to create the universe with a planet and people who he could play with....

well alright here is a truth that will RIA this thread, for I feel the reason why people are unable to handle my grip on science may be because they hold a bible.

About the theory that god created life and matter, and matter and then life, life may have rose independently on it's own lightning strike primordial soup thang, but if we need a creator to create a molecule or an atom, or then life, or the whole universe, the creator to create a simple molecule, why does that need to be explained? Why should one hydrogen atom of a nulceus a proton and one electron have to be explained? Matter cannot be created or detroyed anyways...

But should an innocent little atom need a creator to be created, then where did the creator come from? Huh? Think about it. Who then created the creator? Wouldn't it be more difficult to configure the origin of a creator than a freaking hydrogen atom which is the base for all the other elements? Gold is just a retarded hydrogen atom, evolved because of molecuar science and celestial time possibilities.

The religious are so quick to point out that God needs no creator... ok then, if god always was, and this helps explain something that no one ever can know for sure, then why can't the universe have always existed too? If god always has?

Alright, now that I have offended everyone with scientific truth, administrators you know what to do, since my science according to you is baseless. It is the heart that open the windows of the soul mind to understand. Have a heart, hate never learns.

Time is a property only of the universe that God created. God knew what he intended when his set it all up.

Stephen Hawking in his best seller, ‘A Brief History of Time,’ puts it so clearly:

[...] the concept of time has no meaning before the beginning of the universe. This was first pointed out by St. Augustine. When asked: “What did God do before he created the universe?” Augustine [replied] “that time was a property of the universe that God created, and that time did not exist before the beginning of the universe.”

I'm going to have to go with the big bang theory too.

I think that according to the current laws (as we understand them) that the big bang makes the most sence.

I do, however, think that the universal constents is either a crazy example of pure luck or and example of the work of some sort of divine being.

Definitely the Big Bang. What exploded, and how, I have no thoughts on, but it seems like the most likely explanation on how the universe came to be.

I'll quote some info as well
"About 15 billion years ago a tremendous explosion started the expansion of the universe. This explosion is known as the Big Bang. At the point of this event all of the matter and energy of space was contained at one point. What exisisted prior to this event is completely unknown and is a matter of pure speculation. This occurance was not a conventional explosion but rather an event filling all of space with all of the particles of the embryonic universe rushing away from each other. The Big Bang actually consisted of an explosion of space within itself unlike an explosion of a bomb were fragments are thrown outward. The galaxies were not all clumped together, but rather the Big Bang lay the foundations for the universe."

This is what makes sense to me in how it all came to be, and a nice summary of how it all was created.

I really wish we could figure out what was before the Big Bang though..

Before the big bang I don't think we had dimensions as we know it. Maybe 1 at most, if any.

So in that case time probally did not exsist since time is just us moving through the 4th dimension at the speed of light.

I also think that it's more than probable that this is not the first universe created, but it may be the last due to the current laws pointing to entropy.

I saw that movie also, thought it was really interesting. I've always thought that the universe was created out of something subconcious. No big bang, creationism, or anything like that, it just began in a dreamlike phase, much like the period between awake and asleep. It's hard to explain, but that's the best I can do.

the current problem with the big bang theory is just one of its yet to be proven 3 faults

that main problem is the distrabution of the heavy eliments through out the universe.

if you picture a round baloon explodeing, one you can find the exact center of the baloon, two if we fill that baloon with say difrent color powder, when it explodes there is an even distribution of the powders regauless of there individual waights.

but this is not the case for the elements of the cosmos.

so to get the distribution we have in the cosmos we need to have a baloon explode that is shaped like a round baloon that has say been push in on one face (to creat a dint), and as this baloon explodes we get the distribution of the elements how they exist and have always existed.
the problem here is that a baloon of such a shape has no known centre of equal measurement.

so you can see here the visual side to the equation that hinders the bigbang theory.

"without a centre piont you cannot get a super heated presure to expand thus rendering any elastisity efect utterly hopeless in the theory". as one side of the odd shaped baloon would break out the powder(elements) before the rest are at a piont of expansional presure.

cheers

to more to the current theories, ruther thier problems(faults)

the string theory cannot bridge the gap(thats to say cannot jion the known behaviors) of relitivity(large mass) and quantom(sub atomic mass). so there is a gap in there work on string theory. and this renders it useless as a theory must be able to explain al behavour with the one equation.

the problem with trhe M theory is that it holds no value of an existance from the dimentions of 5 through to seven(that is to say one can exist in dimentions 1,2,3 and 8,9,10,11,12 and 13 so again there is a gap needed to be filled by a second equation.

the trouble with the steady state and expanding universe(continualy growing in mass) theories has always been. "where does mass/matta come into existance from?"

and as we are all awear of, the theory of a higher being, has always had to rely on a leap of faith with no will to question "from wence it came"

as to how man became man ect, latest resurch in dna and gene physics has shot great holes into dawinism.

cheers

Exactly, so say instead of a cat in the box, why not the universe. Now I'm not saying that we all live inside a box, I'm just using that as an example. What if this universe only exists, because it is able to be viewed by others. So what happens when our 'box' closes? Would this be our so called Apocalypse? Just because no one else can see us, we all vanish into nothingness. Personally, I don't think science, or religion can answer the question of the creation of the universe, but logic can. Not logic based on formulas, but on independant thought, and willpower.

Dammit...hell is reaaaaaly chilly today..i'm agreeing with miz....
linear time as we understand it is a construct of our own senses....it only exists as a relationship between moments this was a theory brought forward by zeno, aristotle's teacher so very long ago.....and still argued over....
time and movement are entirely dependent on one another....but it doesn't mean that a godentity would be restricted in such a way....there are many things which science does not yet understand after all.....
it does not make them invalid...just unproven..

and thinking in that sort of way if you wanted to have god still involved in that.

Sheet B = god's right hand

When I start thinking about this my head starts to hurt to be honest but I always thought we were nothing more than a drop of water in space and time and that we exist as part of a great much bigger world that we might never get to know better so that sucks.
I think we are important and insignificant all at the same time and we are made of energy so we never really stop existing, we just, banish into energy again and again.

I think this topic is more of a religious belief. I mean, if you believe in God, you will more than likely believe that there was Adam and Eve after God created the entire universe. But if you don`t believe their is a Father, then you`ll probably believe in the big bang theory or another theory somewhat similar.

I`m not really sure of what theories there are out there, aside from the big bang theory, I`ve never really looked into it.

Im sure that anything is possible in theory, but there will never be a way to prove such a theory as the time of the creation of the universe has passed and there is no way to travel back to that time, if there was, would the person or persons who traveled back even exist as it would would change the history of the universe? Until someone can prove to me with physical evidence how the universe come about, i will just enjoy life and not theorize about anything i cannot prove.

But think about it. Can everyone in the world agree on one thing? I really doubt it, but someone has to be right. Not neccesarily at this moment in time, but someone will end up with the right answer if no one has it yet. But we'll never know who came up with the right one. lol

Well basically I Redeemer. Your one and only true god created this universe.
It all started back along time ago, even before the creation of the rubix cube. I. Redeemer got really drunk one night and threw up on a microwave. As I looked down on the reminace of what I ate that day I wondered to myself " I wonder what would happen if I turned the microwave on ". So curious as I am Tried it out. When suddenly there was this big BANG and all this dust went flying everywhere ( don't ask how my chunky bits turned into dust. cause then everyone will create little universes of thier own ). And thats how the universe began. Don't believe anything anyone else tells you for I am the true creator. If you have any complaints about how your life is shit well write to me at www.who_gives_a_fuck_about_your_life!_your_the_one_who_fucked_it_up_so_get_over_yourself.com

I sort of believe in the Big Bang Theory. It kind of makes sense to me really. But there are other things I believe in as well. That's just one of the possible ways life in general was created. Not to offend anyone but personally I dont' believe a thing about how Christ or Jesus whichever you prefer to call him as was at all accurate about life. I dont' believe that he could heal anyone of blindness or any such thing. Truthfully I I think most of the Bible is false. And all of the doomsday things that where supposed to happen never really did or I wouldn't eb typing this right now. Personally I don't believe a word of it but that's because I question it. If someone could actually prove some of the things in there then I wouldn't question it as much. The only reason I question their belief of how this world and everyone in it came into it is because there really isn't any proof. So a bunch of people wrote things down in a book and had to follow it or they would die so what doesn't mean the things written are correct. Proof is what we need. But proof shall not be given for it is the past. I like the BIg Bang Theory because it makes more logical sense and it could be proven. We ddn't all just appear out of thin air because some guy was bored and decided he wanted to make others to not be so bored. No science is the answer in my opinion.

"Truthfully I I think most of the Bible is false."

Actually I agree with you there. A countries ruler (wherever, and whoever it may be.) has the ability to say to their scribes, "Rewrite the bible to where it says this, or I'll kill you."

So unless I have a translator, an exact copy of the original bible, and the money to pay someone to translate it, I'll stick with my particular beliefs at this time. lol

Not to divert off topic much, but I just wanted to adress that quote in particular.

actually when we do hit interspace (which is actually coming faster than the 2012 estimate I gave, I didn't want everyone to freak out on the Mayan topic, but if you want to know when we hit interspace, just track the Voyager probes progress. It might be only two years away.)

But once we hit interspace, there is probably an even further less dense space than that, since we are moving fast away fro the point of origin in the universe, snf opnce we get there, then we can create an experiment. This is what I imagine could determine the origin of the universe to be...

well, all mass is is an acumulation of perticles. Therefore we must start with the smallest particles we know of first. Daermon is right about the infinity within idea, that we might just be, our solar system is, one atom, with the sun being like a nucleus, all particles, are suceptible to gravity, that is how plaents are formed, molecules tent to be attracted to each other, that creates the suns which turn into black holes, and because they are so massive they get even more gravity. Of course before suns turn into black holes they do a super nova explosion, which sends forces outwards, so that is a big bang of sorts.

But the smallest particle we know of is the string, which we have seen...

String theory isn't really a theory, that is a misnomer, we see strings. They are like mexican jumping beans that wiggle like a girl who drank too much tequila and won't ever get off the dance floor. The longer she dances the more time there is. For if a particle exists, and it moves then time can start, but time, the fouth dimension is a construct created by being who can sense time. In order for time to be, someone must feel how boring life is before they say, hey I am a string, I have been dancing great for such a long time and no one has decided to dance with me, god this is boring, it feels like an aeon. Another string comes up to her, it could be a guy string, and he asks the girl string and he says, how long is an aeon? and she says, well, that was ten songs I danced to, that was an aeon.

So we need matter to create time, to sense that it is alive, but I theorize that since strings dance, they might exist and be a life form. So then maybe life always was, it just keeps getting more and more sophisticated.

Yeah if we keep zooming in on an molecule and see the atoms, and then the nuclues, and then the electron, and then the nutrino, and then the quarks, and then the strings, there might be even smaller partilces that make strings dance, like a little protein atom is made up of like 20 carbons or so. The infinity within concept of Daermon's. And of course the protein is but one of the small building blocks of carbon based life forms, the carbons made up of other parts.

So with all that knowledge base here is what I propose to run an experiment on, after and since I have defined all the terms neccessary for you to make sense out of this experiment.

OK, so we go to a part of space like interspce which is even more of a vaccum than space between us and the moon, and we send some strings into the void and we put our electron microscopes out there and we watch watch happens with these strings.

Of course no string likes to dance alone, we dance to attract attention, so a guy string is going to go up to the girl string, or homo string whatever, and they get stuck together and form the qurak, et cetera. et cetera is a latin word that means "I could go on, but this is more of a glorified period which I would rather here you fill in the blank on, for the ideas lead to a new conclusion." Ideas cannot be generated in a vaccum. I did not feel this, I read what you guys wrote, and I came to these conclusions because of your energy. Thank you for being there, even though I have not written in a couple of days, someone sent me a virus that affects me only on this site, so I guess I am being asked to leave, my theories are just to fantastic to believe. "Fantastic" in a bad way, the original meaning of the word.

So it might be gravity which causes life, the fact that two string like to dance together have baby string and create all the molecules which the rest of life comes from. There is an attraction or a repulsion, like me being ejected from the site which causes life and then the diaspora of the "big bang" of particles into and beyond interspace.

I was reading some of my interdepartment mail, and one of my hate mails came in, and he placed a virus into my computer that was freezing up my vampire rave pages, telling me to leave the site, and it only effects my lap top Mac, the Microsoft works fine, but, so, I had to write and post fast because I was losing posts I am sorry about...

but about the headache thing, if there wasn't a big bang cause to it, don't you think that the reason why god rested on the 8th day was because he had a headache from all of creation, and so to understand all that process we have to get the god headache too. but between the quark and the electron, in size there is the nutrino and then the photon, which is light. The photon does have mass they finally found out.

yeah that is why I threw in the nutrino and photon words just to give you a blinding headache...

but, what it all boils down to, whcih is a process I only arrived at through writing all of it, is that I think gravity causes the universe to exapnd and contract. The attraction between small particles makes bigger and bigger ones, to the point where we have a most massive universe to discuss the origin of.

So how do these particles even exist, if there was nothing here at all in the begining? Even with what I've heard/understand from the Big Bang theory, it still doesn't make sense. The Law of Conservation of Mass says matter cannot be created or destroyed. Now if this is the case, our universe shouldn't even exist, Big Bang, or no, because at some point, it had to be created, which means that this so called "Law" isn't even a law at all. Even through a religious aspect, God can't create the universe, because of said law. But then we also have the Law of Conservation of Energy, which says that energy can't be created or destroyed, which implies that none of us exist, because God can't exist, for if he isn't matter, than he can only be energy. Now take a look at the view of quantum physics. It's still wrong because, from what I understand, it says that we came from the power of thought, which has to be a form of energy, because it isn't matter, but then again, everything, even thought has to be matter on some level, because all thought is, is an electrical impulse, wether it be from a subatomic level or not, thus bringing us back to the Law of Conservation of Mass. So unless both of these laws are wrong, we shouldn't even be able to exist...

well, life may be just a passing fancy in a midnight dream, but in order to have a dream the mind that conjures it must have mass, therefore there can be no thought without body.

Just as we are an agglomeration of star dust, the flotsom and jetsom of particles not pulled into the sun to create the sun when out cloud of a solar system was forming the ring of planets in there various densities of matter, so the strings came to gether to form the quarks, which is just an energy signature really, the nutrino which has very very little mass, it moves right through you putting holes in your bones through time, but since it is attracted into the face of the earth at right angles, it must be attracted by gravity therefore it has mass, the photo is light it has mass and the particles keepo getting bigger and bigger from there. So it is the gravity between strings, and the eternal laws of physics which create life. Are strings the smallest particle existant? Well we can build guitars one micron across, then we should build microscopes one mircon across to peer into the string to see what makes it dance, if it moves it is alive, if it is alive and all life comes from it's want of need to have another string close next to it with the gravity of attraction in celestial body physics, no matter how small the matter it contains, then I say, we have come to the end of this discussion, you have led us to in postulation , the strings are the gods that created the universe because of basic attraction principles as if they were indeed alive and had needs to be met.

I'm not 100% sure how or why the universe began but soon afterwards there was a big bang which released radiation, particles & clouds of atoms.
Gravity condensed the atoms into galaxies where stars appeared. Stars created new types of atoms when they
grew old & exploded as supernovae.

The new atoms were released back to the galaxy & joined together into cosmic dust & molecules. New stars, such as the Sun, formed from these materials (over a period of thousands of years) in the spiral arms & the dust & molecules formed other planets such as Earth. Then life bacteria (germs) appeared on Earth & soon evolved into life. The evolution of life was played out upon the moving stage formed by continental drift.

Single cells with a well-formed nucleus appeared & plants such as algae & animals such as protozoa evolved.
These single cells began to live together in colonies to form more complex algae & invertebrate animals. Vertebrates such as fish appeared about the same time as the plants began to live on land, rapidly followed by the invertebrates.

Later vertebrates (amphibians) also evolved to live on land & reptiles dominated the land for millions of years.
Plants, insects & vertebrates evolved
into flowers, bees & mammals
all at about the same time.

People appeared, rapidly dominating & transforming the entire planet, (also over thousands of years).

Just my thoughts anyway!

Well the "theory" part about string theory, is that the string theory is supposed to explain all science, the connections between all life and inanimate objects.

I just figured on being ingenuitive with it saying the string was the origin of all, and so taking the theory out of the string. It was jest in jest, but it did make you think for a second didn't it Biten. And Sam that was poetic, I wish I could write like that, it was art.

I must agree with loverboy586 about this not being the first universe created and that we are only looking at this as if we were. But I must also say that I do see what you are getting at VladThenImpaler04 about the cat in the box. It’s like that one question no one knows the answer to about the tree in the forest and if there is no one there to hear it does it make a sound. But I do not agree with you that someone will ever really know the answer. There will always be to much conflict between people of science and people of religious belief for that.
Think about it this way…lets say that someone did have the right answer at this very moment and that person told the world about it. What do you think would happen then?
Scientist would jump in and try to find any and every way to discredit the person, people of the church would be outraged if the answer was not as they think it should be according to the bible so they would throw there own little tantrums. All this would do is cause people to chouse wither to believe or not even if the answer was right. Who is to say that someone hasn’t come up with the right answer already and we don’t even know it. So…it always comes back to what people want to believe or not .

About the response with the girl hiding her face under blonde hair, well, no the universe is definately not infinite. Do you know how I know it is impossible?

Well I thought of this befoe I hit college, call it a Bronx Science High School graduates reasoning.

The low down is, if space was infinite, then there would be a planet with you reading this with blue hair curling your fingers in your hair, and a planet with red hair version of you eating a yogurt, et cetera, there would be infinite planets, even scores and scores of planets, in fact millions of planets where I am still an angel, in this time frame, or a second behind, where I haven't even found the Rave yet, or some planets where the Rave doesn't exist until 2007, or 2008, with BUSH choking on another pretzel where his aid punched a hole in his glass of water... or not. There fore space is not infinite my dear though this message seems never to end, because it is impossible, I was and never will be again an angel, on any planet anywhere in the multiverses....

I can't guess how the universe itself began since it's supposedly endless it seems that it must JUST BE...with all the endless violent turbulence in the universe I think that life began out of meer luck we just happen to be the right distance away from our star to promote life....they say where there is water there can be life...other planet and moons have ice, infact they are supposedly investigating the possibility of life on one of jupiters moons which they think has warm water under the icy outer later....we had the right climate for things to evolve...I believe there is other life because with the big bang theory if everything is moving then I think everything eventually gets to a point where life could be sustainable as the previous loses its life...

As for the existence of black holes, they have recently pretty much decided that they do and that they would be the center of the universe. I get from the Discovery channel that there is a black hole in the center of every universe and they would have had something to do with the creation of them. My daughter, who is on her way to being a rocket scientist, says they do exsist and she believes that eventually we will be able to control them. That's a pretty bold statement, but she's a smart kid.

well, black holes are detectable by the paths of celestial bodies around such intenese gravitational fields, just like twin stars the way they pull and tug on each others orbit. At such distances it is difficult to detect that there are actually two stars in there, but any star that wobbles is probably a double star, the same for black holes, they alter asteoids moving by, and this is the only way that we can think that they do exist, because the gravitational fields of black holes is so strong not even the almost weightless photon can escape it's powerful gravity, that is why black holes don't show up on telescopes, they suck all the light out and that is why black holes are black.

Since we can't see them, it is difficult to believe the y exist, but science, something that very few of us on this site believes in, ddoes have the empiracal experiment that determines that they do exist by the gravitational field effect. I just didn't want to say black holes exist when no one has ever seen them. I know all youse are non believers if it can't be experienced then it doesn't exist, so I made the executive decision to not say that they definitely exist, when the proof is invisible.

The current field of scientist that are working to solve your answer, have found that at the end of matter there is only energy, as viewed through a microscope.

That is not to say there is simply nothing there. It just means that no physical structure exists. Energy is there, although one can not hold it, feel it, see it ECT, energy is a presence of force.

Those in this field of work agree, that unlike there predecessors who did not like or view an existence of a God like entity, they feel that they may actually prove the existence of a God like entity.
To them, it may well be that the start point, that gave birth to the rolling situations, leading to the ultimate creation of logical human thought, through the shell structure of a human being, just may have been a unknown living originator to the whole process.

To put it bluntly, and to quickly sum it up. There must be some intelligent law that dictates how the energy at the end of the microscope behaves. And that law may well be an unknown language, read and understood only by energy itself. This line of though leads the scientist to conclude that something must have created that language by either observing the energy (that’s to say made it possible for the energy to follow a patterned path), or by creating a language that gave rise to the energy as separate individuals from a once pure whole type energy (that is to say that there was only one type of energy to begin with, and the creation of a language allowed that energy to separate into individual parts).

So what they are actually saying is, the old lines (all came from God) and (God always was), may actually have merit to them after all.

They just do not view God as the spiritual entity that must humans view it as.

cheers

The word language in the above text does not imply the dictionary meaning of the word.

It is a visual symbolic point of reference to explain a code, a code that dictates the way things are to behave by (simply put it is meant to imply a joint understanding that the energy interact amongst one another).

cheers

Yes this is indeed a very puzzling topic... I must admit it must've came about thruogh the interaction of various energies and intense gravitational forces but how they interacted is and always will be a total mystery...It is times like these when one must look towards religion to some magnitude to avoid going crazy searching for the answers....

Usually I do LOVE topics like this as they are a stimulant for the mind of thought. But I rather am plagued with fatigue so I would just love to say that some unknown Being crapped us out of his ass and here we are. 'nuff said. Maybe i'll post my real thoughts on this later....

I believe that the Goddess created the Earth, upon which she placed plants and trees as a sign of her fertality. She created the moon to govern the night sky. The Goddess got lonely, so she cried tears which created the oceans and lakes. To cure herself of this loneliness, she impregnated herself with a seed, which she carried for nine months. The Goddess gave birth to a Son, and the Goddess in turn put the sun in the sky as a sign of her happiness. As the Son grew strong and learned new things, the sun also grew stronger. The Son became the God, who then impregnanted the Goddess with a new seed. The God begins his dying process, causing the sun to grow weaker and days to grow shorter. The day the God dies is the shortest day of the year. When the God si reborn, the cycle begins all over again. This is what creates the seasons and the length of the days and nights.

Well the reason why God was created was to explain the mystery of things. I don't think it ids enough to day God did it or some flatulance of a god created us by accident and doesn't even know we revere him so, if god did it then how?

For the others new to the topic, the Science explanation of how the Universe could have been created, one theory, mine is listed in detail above. Just don't jump on to an end of thread and say nothing new. Ideas develop, follow the thread, that is why they call them threads.

i have no idea how the universe started, but the adam and eve theory doesn't seem possible considering the facts that scientists have uncovered. the fact that dinosaurs came before all human life forms is a major fact that you have to take into consideration and no where in the bible have i read that god made dinosaurs, so someone has to be lying

I have a funny mixed belief about creationism and evolution. I belive that whatever science proves, about the universe being pulled together and all of that. But I believe that God was the force that drew everything together, God was the spark that set everything in motion.

yeah, it's very likely that god set everything in motion because something had to. dinosaurs couldn't have evolved out of rocks, so it had to be something

A bunch of fairies were playing at the beach one evening just before dusk when this extremely large wave came crashing down on them. One of them, who did not like getting wet, threw some fairy dust at the returning wave. Which so happens, carried the dust out to sea. A small pariticle got caught in a dolphin's eye, which was just pasting by. The tear that was created fell silently into the sea only to mix with the vast sea itself. The fairy that originally threw the dust become enlightened, reallizing how silly her actions were. To remember this experience and to keep this lesson with her always, she took one grain of sand and placing it in her month, bite down hard on it. The thunderous sound that was created from the fairy's bite became known as our big bang. The particles of the grain of sand became our Universe. This is also one of the reasons why we always carry our towels when ever we travel. It's our way to thank the fairy, that was at the beach, and her humble way of creating everything that we now have. ~ BillytheJust
