I am Pagan, not wiccan, and Vamp...and there is no conflict. All the parts of me are what make me who I am...

My fiance is a witch and I have just begun studying wicca in the last 6 months.

I think its wonderful myself. Its a way for everyone to get to know about everyone else & their take on different things out there.

Witches are living people who practice a form of witchcraft according to their understanding of what witchcraft is.

Werewolves are living people afflicted with an unnatural problem. This can be medical as in the case of lupus syndrome; part medical as in the case of lycanthropy; and part supernatural as in the case of folkloric werewolfism.

Vampires are not living people. Whether you believe in their existence or not, they are predatory, demonic and biocidal. The most material form of their being is when they manifest within a corporeal host.

You cannot confuse witches, werewolves and vampires with lifestyles and a subculture where people choose whether to be one or the other. Witchcraft is the only one of the above you can choose. Werewolfism is an affliction. Vampirism is supernatural evil at its darkest from a nether region which intrudes upon us.

i get along with pretty much everyone, whether they are witch vampire, werewolf, or other.

I am both. I try to balance it all out. I harm none, but I do have those that are willing to feed me. So I have the best of both worlds.

I'm a Wiccan and have no problem getting on with anyone else.

i have studied witchcraft but never dedicated myself to take the step into a wicca, being part of the vampire colony myself i am open to witches wizards and all other sorts. always makes for an interesting conversation xD

I don't know what I am. I'm sick of pretending to be something. I'm tired of people who pretend to know what wiccan and pagan are.
I get sick of spellbooks, I can't stand following instructions. I follow my own heart and the energy stored there is enough for any "spells"

i have friends that are vampires and i am wiccan... for some reason we get along better than my "normal" friends. i believe it has something to do with our veiws on things. my friends crave blood and arent but i crave and give blood but am wiccan... it doesnt really matter to me and the others i hang out with. its just like being regular friendswhich we are.

i dont see a problem with interacting with one another... it has never been a problem for me... does it really matter who we are as far as knowing each other and being freinds with each other? weather we are vampire, wiccan, etc...
i believe that we are all connected to one another some way some how... we all have similarities of some sort... and it should not matter... wicked kisses and blessed be, darla...

I get along with pretty much all and any one regardless of what they are or believe in, I do not feel it is so much that being different as it is to how an individual interactes with others in general. just my opinon

i have no problem relating to those who are Wiccan. I consider myself a vampire first and then a Wiccan by ancestry.

I'm a psy vamp and a witch, both by acceptance of my inner nature and true self. They are two parts that make up the whole of me. I can't be one without also being the other. That's just how i am.

Well im a Wiccan High Preist, Vorn Reinheart to those who dont know me. But im a vamp too, at least in most respects. Personally i find nothing wring with it. Wicca is a religion and vapirism is a life style.

And yet again you completely neglect that 99.9% of this site disagrees and disregards your one sided and narrow view of the idea of what a vampire is.
I hold to pagan faith, believe in psychic ability, and I feel there is more to both vampires and lycanthropy than some outdated dictionary can explain.....

Um, I'm Therian also, not Lycan- I don't use that word as it's too Underworld for me, but Therian, I think, covers all the anima spectrum...and that part of me is just as happy with the others being Vamp and Pagan are.

Wiccan here as well. (Duh with a name like Elemental???) Anyway....I think if folks try hard enough.....they can get along with others....regardless of differences. I try hard....and succeed most of the time.

I agree with an earlier post we are not the norm inhabitants of earth . I see no conflicts between the different beliefs of the members here . I as well am a Witch and a Vampyre as along with some other things : )= V S

I am a pagan.. But consider myself to be a monotheist. I am also an empath. Which for the person that said that vampires are not human or real. That is not true in any sense of the word. We all leach off of something whether it be for pleasure or life. There is a difference between the "real" vampires, and the non real kind. Like the vampire we read about and see in movies.

And for the person that made the comment about Don Henrie. I consider that comment to come from someone who is completely ignorant. I personally met Don in vegas.. "Where he now lives", and know Don as a real person. KNowing Don he never threw out any ideals of being anything but who he is. As far as shopping at Hot topic.. ((Well I guess you described every person on this site)). I admit he puts off a show in public, he holds an image due to the show he was apart of, but the real Don is far from fake, And is as real an any other vampire on this site.

I was just thinking of this and you know i do think as a vamp i am confused about certain things and i don't know what to do but thats prolly not important but it dose deal with my gf which she is wiccan but right now there are some probs

wow i really didnt think there were all that many wiccans on this site, i love being surrounded by my brothers and sisters of the craft. if any newer wiccans have any questions message me and i'll try to help.

Vampires, witches, etc...I dont even fall into any of these catagories unless you count those who work with spirits. Really, I don't mind who I'm surrounded by. I'm not here to judge. Vampires and witches, I couldnt tell you hun. I'm not a vampire so I couldn't speak for them. I don't see why there would be a problem, not suggesting that there would be in the first place.

My best friend is a witch and has neve had any troubles whatsoever with Vampires...

I know someone who is a witch and I have not really had a problem with her and she has not really had problems with others.

I highly doubt any one minds the fact that there are witches on this site for many of reasons. One of the biggest being that not only are many of the vamps here have wiccan believes themselves but the fact that the two are very closely related. Expecially now in the modern day world... all of the "alternative" cultures seem to ban together quite well.

As for myself, I am Pagan but not Wiccan. I follow the Celtic path. I have never had a problem relating or working with vamps, or even other Pagan groups. I agree with velvetrose: alternative groups such as this tend to blend well together. Perhaps because we are all out of the mainstream it gives everyone a basic common ground.

I am pagan and have no probs with my vamp or witch friends. Interacting just strengthens ties between us all.

Why would any of us care? You make it out to seem that we would really see any issues with anyone being wiccan/witch or such.

People are people, who care of ther religion, beliefes or condition, if their cool, then I'm going to like them, if their idiots, well, not much to say on that one.

Yeah, I'm all about the individuality. I don't really care what a person's beliefs are. To me, what's important is what that person brings to the friendship/relationship. Besides, as long as individuals are open-minded and don't try to cram their ideals down my throat, I'm typically cool with pretty much anyone. It's not my job to judge.

Thats how it should be, thats what makes thing interesting, yet, there are always those individuals out there that don't get the point, regardless on how many people tell them other wise.

This I find to be rather insulting, especially to the psychic vampires here on this site and others I frequent.

I feel this thread is much overdue for closing. It has served its purpose.
