I am interested in learning about the metaphor or the visual description you can give to help describe what "feeding" feels like to you.

For the purposes of this thread, feeding refers to the taking of energy in all its forms from another PERSON or persons.

Do you identify with an image in your head or feel the energy/power within you manifest in some visual way?

for me it is a warmth entering mid sturnum, spreading outwards from there almost in a tingly sensation, tho some could say that might be low blood pressure...hehe

Ok, I've received a few messages asking for clarification. I apologize. I'm mostly looking for the pictures in your head associated with your own vampiricism.

Daermon eloquently described a warm "extending outward" tingling feeling that begins in the sternum.

Does that ring true to you or do you see/feel it in some other way that you can describe visually for the rest of us?

For that,after i fed,i see each skeletons all over the street walking,standing,talking,driving.
No flesh,just their bones.This is not in my head.
From my eyes i see.

You see skeletons of those from whom you've fed? Or are you seeing skeletons of everyone in general? Do you have any ideas about why that is what you see?

Everyone in general around me.
It lasts for few days/nights.

Memories has 3 levels in mind.

Bear
Maintenance
Regenerate

Blood goes through your brain fully,
DNA/RNA,genome takes care of memories,
I see those from my eyes.
That is how it goes for me.
Watching as skeletons are part of memories.

I seem to skim off people's emotions more than anything else, so it really depends on who it is that I'm feeding on.

If the person is energetic, I feel the surge of energy in myself.
If they are broadcasting a lot of negative energy, sometimes it will bring me down.
If it's positive, it's like a feeling of wellbeing. It all depends on who's around me.

First, I don't see it as a feeding... Absorbing emotions is different... I take a look in their eyes and I see myself going through a tunnel, a corridor with many doors, most of them locked... I softly blow over the locks and they open... Inside I find the emotions I want to bring to the surface... I take it in my hand, I bring it with me... And I display it to the subconscience... It manifests... and I stay back and enjoy the fear, the surprise... I feed my heart with their despair... It's like a wave of warm water that slofly flows over my soul...

Like water rising and falling , so tasteful and thirst quenching. almost addictive

My "feeding" is emotional. I tend to do it the most in groups. A quiet moment in the buzz around me......soaking in the feelings and the energy. A feeling of calmness and contentment usually.

With me it's always energy and/or emotions. Especially excitement and fear, those seem to hit me the hardest. Trying to describe it is strange, mostly like a sponge pulling it into me through my skin.

I try to feed more off nature most of the time. I get the feeling of being one with the earth, & at peace. The trees, animals, everything seems to become more beautiful & pure. I have fed off of someones energy once & saw as someone else said, skeletons everywhere. I could even look at my own self & see myself that way. It only last a few hrs for me & was an overwhelming sense of negative energy.

I see colors and feel them not exactly a warmth although if I really follow it that maybe just how it feels but well it leads me into doing big surge of my work right after I do feed. Actually a number of what my art is are about those colors I see and feel

For Me, when I feed upon energy from things around Me. It starts as a nice warm, tingly feeling spreading out from the center of My chest, slowly filling My body with the sensation untill it fills My entire body, with My finger tips and toes tingling. In those few moments, everything feels great, unless of course I draw the energy in to fast, at which point I get a really funny light feeling in My head and get rather dizzy, which is still funny lol. But when I feed and draw from the energy around Me just right, its like I can actually concentrate and visualize within My head what I need to do and plan it out to where everything happens flawlessly.

I am blown away! Don't you find it interesting that there is such a variety of answers and images?

I submit that if I asked what images come to mind as you lift a fork to your mouth, the answers would be less varied and vivid.

So far, I think the skeleton visions surprised me the most. Having it corroborated by another member was pretty unexpected.

when i feed,, i can feel the very essence of whatever it is i am devouring at the time, flow into my very body,,, it gives me such a rush,,makes my body tingle all over...yummm...gives you strength..

I feel like I have wings...

Wings that envelope them in, closer to me.
Wings that will take me to flight when I am done.
I also feel like I have scales. I feel toughened by the act, like nothing can hurt me. Perhaps a false sense of security, but that is what manifests.

I've never actively taken in energy from another human, not really. I've been taken from though and I would describe it as it feels like letting out a breath you've been holding. It's not an entirely disturbing feeling, but definitely substantial... I don't know what else to say about it...

Most times I visualize smoke or tendrils of smoke coming from from a person, either chest or mouth.And then just recycling back and forth from myself to the other.I feel a warm sensation usually in my fingertips and chest.

Not sure if you were speaking to me, Joli, but by all means--please use that.

I have had someone describe to me that their particular feeling was one of increadible raw energy and warmth spreading outward to almost radiate from them. Sounds quite pleasant to me.

I don't really get a specific feeling. Because I don't actually realize I'm feeding off of people's energy, I can only tell that I have when I've taken too much and I get really hyper.

Whenever I bite my donor, that little gasp of "fear", for lack of a better word, that they make when I am near where I am to bite is all that is needed to start the flood of enlightenment. It feels almost as if I am floating in air, enev though I can see I am not. Hope this helps, and good luck interpreting all of the various answers that you have and will receive.

when feeding I almost feel euphoric. floating in my donors emotions.

Ok, I'm shaking it off.

We've actually had some more agreement...there seems to often be a sensation of tingling and/or warmth. I find it interesting that there are so many differences, but intersecting similarities tease me into wanting to plot out the responses and look further into what it may or may not mean.

I'd like to encourage those who have experience here but who haven't yet posted to please do so. The more information we share with one another, the more we learn. Please don't post if your answer is that you don't have experience in this matter, it just clutters the thread.

For me I feed off ones energy. When its a positive experience I feel as though I can completly breath. I feel my body relax itself and all the nerves in my body feel allive. It gives me a charge or a sense of feeling powerful. When its a negative experience I feel completly drained and dead and at times feel sick. It is as though my whole body aches.

When I feed, it's more of an energy rush. A warmth. It's hard to explain. I don't really stop and think about it. It's like electricity. Something in me just feels complete, alive.

Once again, thank you to all who participated in this thread. It was my first and it was a true pleasure.
