I am still in the learning process and have heard mention of a couple different types of vampires. My question is how many are there and what are the abilities of each?

Some might say that each is their own form.

And the spread of abilities is varied and many.

lots..you my want to research the subject. there's sang. which is blood drinker psi that is energy...etc.

In mythology there are a lot, I wrote a members article on some of them - I'm doing a second one now - but there are hundreds more.

If you mean in the modern vampire scene - I've only seen two : sanguine and psi/psy/psychic, I think they feed on blood and energy - but there's a lot of people on here who can tell you far far more

I think perhaps it depends... I mean if you want to get technical there are subs under each... like with Psy there is intentional and unintentional.... so if you get into all that then there are many... this would make a good research project though.

as many said before me .... I think theres alot of them out there but most of us are either sang or psy....

each person/vampire has it's own abilities they might be similar with others or they might be totally different. It all depends on the individual.

There isnt an exact number and and to speak of one is shear lunacy!

some you have never heard of nor ever will..usually do not come to these sites unless checking out the populace

id say lots of research and foruming can change from thoughts and not wihtout thinking.

Most people group the sang/blood and the psy/energy into two main groups and then all the variations of each type.

They are as varied as everyone else is. In many ways. I guess most would categorize by how a vampire feeds but even then there are many possibilities. I've heard some say they feed off storms and elements while others say they can feed off of music. Given these examples I would almost have to believe the variations are endless.

From my study, research and understanding there are two main vampire types. Blood drinkers and PSI.

The two types that are predominant are Sang and Psychic. Sang are blood drinkers and gain their energy through the drinking of blood. Psychic (AKA - Psy, Psi) are those that can absorb energy directly from those around them without drinking blood.

I know that there are two main ones, sang and psy but there are plenty of variations to each one.
