You might as well go read up on the Cat in the Box, Schrodinger had a point. Did the cat still exist in some alternate state not dead?
There is a book you might be interested in reading. Rob Bryanton wrote it, called Imagining the tenth dimension.
Theoretically if you move faster the speed of light, time becomes fluid, and all things are possible at that point. If you could slow yourself from this speed, while all of your DNA is still intact, then you could step through time on that respect.
Despite the heavy level of energy that would generate not to mention cause something of a black hole. One could theoretically concieve of it, in a vaccum situation, so one could from space, travel through such a state, then return to earth centuries earlier or later then one started as they moved through the temporal liquid. Even though it appears as though they are standind still.
There is also the question of does the past exist? when each moment of the past is what we concieve of as the present. Where there is still the oppertunity to progress to the next step, does not the past cease to be?
If that were the case then wouldn't it be impossible to remember anything like how the rock is a rock today, as it was yesterday, not acting anydifferent, not learning, just being as a rock? However in physics this is not possible. All is doing, there is no being. So to exist before doing is not possible, as to do so would be to question and seek to travel back to the moment where the Box was opened to find the cat still alive, The box may never had a cat in it..
So UFOs...being unidentified, would remain unidentified as the conception behind them remains until there is more then photographic evidence a spacial vaccum as best described as those that have been observed by the Russian scientists.
