Since certain type of energies are being proposed in general threads I have this one to add to the discussions.
From Wikipedia:
“Ley lines refer to hypothetical alignments of a number of places of geographical interest, such as ancient monuments and megaliths.”
These have also been used culturally such as the fairy circles and in China these same lines are used as guides in Feng Shui. Many cultures (traditions) teach us to live in harmony with our surroundings. IE: The Native traditions of North and South America, The Bushman of the Kalahari, The Aboriginal peoples of Australia many more then time of a decent length of a thread will allow. Harmony has been a central theme for many cultures. We live with these Ley lines and most never ever know they are living over or near these magnetic points. These lines can intersect with each other in many cases causing adverse reactions between the two lines.
These Ley lines aren't only found underneath us but above us as well in for want of a better term the air often geothermic and magnetic energies interact in concert and as often they are polar opposites. I am not proposing people use these forces. I in fact don't think they can be used without great cost to the person or people using them. I do believe that people can feel the effects of these lines because of a magnetic pull and certain people own magnetism.
My questions are what are your experiences with these energies?
Good or Negative reactions to these Ley lines ??.
Possible up coming events that you feel will happen due to a shift in these energies???
any one can have a good or negitve reaction to to any energrys
but as for lay lines they are the strongest earth based energeys know and i love to find them and lay there for day and sleep and have the most pleastent dream ever lay lines make me happy
Not so sure that you would have the most pleasent dreams. My GF found out that her bed stod in one of those lines and that was the explanation to why she had so big troubles with her sleap. She moved her bed to anototer place in that room and her sleap was better by the next night and stayed that way.
Well I know that the closest ley line to me is about an hours drive in syracuse ny
i never experience one of those in less
if you conceder me having nitmares when i slep in certain rooms of the house or if i feel a sence of cold chill at time when i went into a certain room lol...
I dont know about the whole dream thing being affected, because I dont have nightmares, but if what they say is true about them being a type of imformation highway or Torsion waves, then I can see how it would affect one sleeping on top of them.
And remember, there is normally water involved, and its been shown that water has memory.Thats only one little part of the equasion tho.
Then some here have had some dealings with Ley Lines. I never thought of them being in anyway water related stands to reason they could be.
“Ley lines refer to hypothetical alignments of a number of places of geographical interest, such as ancient monuments and megaliths.”
I am not quite a believer in this phenomenon, although such energy lines may exist there is no empiric evidence supporting the hypothesis. I have read fiction where they are used and tapped to work magick.
Now underground rivers and natural magnetic fields may be the basis for the ley line hypothesis, but they do not run in straight lines, and not between human created places of power. There are some witches who believe they can tap ley lines to work their magick, and some shamans as well.
I don't see how a person can "use" them? How would one go about that?
Do you mean places around the Earth that have definite more energies, like Sedona, Arizona? The Bermuda triangle area, places like that?
Well, the waters around these lines are said to heal... and when tapped into, they increase ones energy.
But here is what a witch has to say about it...
"Like batteries the nexus points store energy
and when someone turns them on.. by drawing power, and amplifying
it with the will and releasing it back, the sites send that power along the lines to other sites
and so on and so on..building this great net of energy.
And this is energy, from anyone of good intent. "

Thank you Oceanne, These line have been documented and no they don't run in a straight line like a to b but wonder all over the place. The (Catholic) Church recognizes them and placed what they call Rose Lines over the tops of some of the more prominent ones. Stonehenge lays close if not right on one as does the church Notre Dame.
I love bringing old threads to the front lol.
I have never experienced these at all. I know that I am VERY sensitive to energy, espeically magikal energy.
I have never had any dealings with these. I find them interesting these places are scattered over different places.
You're welcome .:) But I wouldnt worry about this thread growing,it will continue Im sure..its a good subject..But it has been discussed alot, fairly recently, and alot of info posted.
Oceanne I have actually done this thread before myself two years ago or there abouts, as my monitor is down right now I have asked Oceanne to keep the conversation alive ( well she kind asked me as well) she has agreed to do so Thank you Oceanne thank you other members intersted in this subject.
I Don't discount any reasons for Ley Lines whether they are natural or supernatural.
My interests tend to be a bit esoteric in nature.

I was wondering ,when I read the posts concerning dreams,if there might be a certain theme to them.So I might do a little looking around for some info on that.
There are several grids that I wouldnt mind posting, however, some would just be giant copy and paste jobs..Seven would kikk my butt for that So Ill just post some links and such for now till the dentist dope wears off. This link I feel is very informative if one wants to start researching this subject..

Wow Oceanne thanks again wonderful I hadn't even made a connection between dreams and Ley Lines thanks for the link
You're more than welcome. While here is a pretty extensive site,I have yet to really find anything on the dream connection that is worthwhile .Ill keep looking ..
here.
I have traveled extensively in my life and I've found that ley lines effect my energy level depending on their polarity and strength. People that are sensitive to them also tend to have a good sense of direction. That doesn't mean they always know where they are going but that they generally know which direction they are facing. Very sensitive people can even tell direction blindfolded or underground with no point of reference. Most people though don't know to associate this with the ley lines though. No I'm no where near that sensitive but I do generally know the direction I'm facing even in an unfamiliar location. It's also believed that birds and other migratory animals use these lines to navigate.
That is a really interesting concept Wolvie.I have a good sense of direction, but never even thought to link it with the lines. Thanks for bringing that up.
I can't tell you much about ley lines but I can tell you is that those who work with magic, or feed on energy can draw energy from ley lines.
engery is neutral it is the intent of the user that makes it good or bad. not to that thier is not palces were evil resuides but engry in a pure form is neither. but as for ley lines or points thier is something to be said about a gathering of engery. my experinace with it would the ther 4 corners. that place gave me the hiby jibes
