I love terror stories because It's just like tv but you can twist it all you want, a good villian is someone you really really hate. and a good hero is someone, anyone it doesn't matter as long as it kills the villian....

a good topic makes a good story and as far as who wrote it it don't matter

I consider a novel to be great when it grabs my attention within the first couple chapters. When I can't put it down no matter what. I always liked horror stories or true crime. I like to read them before I go to sleep with one light by my bed on, when the house is quiet. Scares the shit right outta me! As for authors, I've always loved Anne Rice, Stephen King and V.C. Andrews. Now I've gotten into this new author, Terry Goodkind.

I had a teacher that once said - You can't have a good story without love, sex, and violence. ^_^

i like storys that arent to desciptive and long...cos i get bored...i like dark stories that make u think...
i like witchcraft/magik stories, but not fantasy cos its too far-fetched! :)

well the old addage that you gotta get my attention and keep it or it gets burned. Stories should be that .. Stories and mindless entertainment(except for the imagination part). Sorry dont have favs, once I read a book I remember it and therefore cant re read because I know the ending lol..

a story that captures humane characteristics. and the trails we humans have to go trough at times that always makes the best story. and loves stories that leave you sad. like tales of two cities.

I am a heavy reader and i hate when books never solve all the questions it has in the books. GODDAMNIT! I want to know the fing ending for real! I enjoy Laurell K. Hamilton most of all. Probably cause she mixes lycanthropes with vampires and she adds in the spice of police force. Hot guys with guns! My favorite!

I would say characters you can relate to.....not super characters..but the regular joe who somehow prevails

i absolutly love the old Conan storys, i hate when a auther writes a story about a charector thay dont really know, it has happind in the conan series alot, that will make me put a book down in discust. my faverit bood is Interview with the vampire, my favrit auther is Robert E, Howard, creator of Conan " By CROM!"
