now that im able to start threads heres my question.

Have you ever had that feeling that you'll never see life again? Not like you'll die in your sleep but as if society has changed so much, that you wouldn't even recognize it if it bit you in the ass? Has our culture been destoryed?

That kinda didn't make sense, Life is life even if culture has changed...

i think that we may have lost our one true culture but theres many different ones all put in to one and thats not a bad thing. we just love to exspand things, i dont know heh.

Yes I am afraid I know all to well what HowlingWolf means. Having seem many lifetimes I have seen many cultures change with the times and often I have found myself in a familiar yet changed area of the world and was indeed shocked to see what had happened to it.

what is happening in here is exactly the sort of thing being talked about in some other threads....postings that are more like conversations between one or two ppl...... insults.....random chatter having little to do with the topic....and the people doing it are some of the same who complain about it in those threads....

I'm very sorry if I confused some of you. And those that feel if they understand, thank you. See, it many believe that the American Society is taking a turn for the worst.Since all of you are so diverse, I wanted your opinions. Sorry for the confusion.
For many people, LIfe is nothing without society without money, without popularity and other such shity things. Many think that this junk we fight about such as gay rights or terriorism in the States, is a waste of effort and time (and money). I' wondering if any you feel the same as those fighting against that. Is the American Society coming to an end?

No.1:It's the same thing everywhere.

No2:People always fought for something just read history.

No3:It's life.What would be life without changes?Ok in many things the world is going worst,well there's nothing much to do since society doesn't care.

When I was little I had a very different perspect about life, but by time my idealism was ruined.There's nothing to do it's just life.Or you take it or you leave it:)

well...not sure if this is what's meant..but its what came to my mind when i read the top post..

i'm real sad about the over-protectiveness that i see...everywhere. too many lawsuits have caused everyplace in NJ to crack down on unregulated activities...
When I was a kid, we could go sledding at the golf course when it snowed. they'd sell hot chocolate there. if someone got hurt...it was considered their own damn fault for sliding down a big hill on a little piece of plastic!...hell...i used to fall into the half-frozen creek every other year or so...

but then they started to send out security people to chase us away....parks started putting up "no sledding" signs...it's...really lame.

same with the beach...used to be that there was a part of the beach with a lifeguard and a lil roped in area...and if you wanted to swim in there and not be able to avoid touching other people...you had that option OR...you could wander a bit down the beach...take a little bit of a risk...and have your own lil bit of ocean. No one gave you any shit. it was understood that you were rejecting their protection...if you drowned...it was your fault...they offered observation...you were an avoidant prick and said "no thanks" ...

now..if you try to enter the water outside of the special magical roped area...they have lifeguards who ride up and down the shore on their little sand bikes and blow their whistles until you get out...
IT REALLY REALLY REALLY CAN RUIN A DAY AT THE BEACH...

so...yeah...in this particular sense...that we're not allowed to do shit anymore...that i'm made to feel like a criminal for wanting to swim NOT under the keen eye of some high school student in red shorts..I am strongly worried about the direction that society is taking.
i worry that when i have kids i'm going to have to take them to the beach and let them walk in up to their knees while they hold the hand of the lifeguard and that they will never even get a chance to just run out into the NJ ocean and dive in and swim 20 yards out and look back and feel like they're in the middle of nowhere and feel a little tiny moment of panic about whether or not they'll make it back. Not a big panic, mind you, since if there's not a fuckin hurricane going on...there's really not much to worry about...but just that little twinge of excitement at doing something that you haven't waited in line for...with no one holding your hand...not in a a roped in-monitored area...

bah humbug.

i think society is changing, and sometimes it does feel like im out of place but there is always something that will bring me back into it somehow, i just go to where people have not destroyed the place, where nature still exsists, if u know what i mean

To those who wonder the change in life, culture, and society will get bite in the ass. Sorry to say but wondering is for those who are lost. Yes wondering life with out knowing if you are coming or going will get left behind. So that means everyday you must wake up and know or should I say remember what happened the day before so you won't have to repeat yourself and be lost all over again !!

Well it all depends on your point of view really. According to the leaders of the world, yes, it does change and change quite fast. According to the fallowers of the world. They go along with everything so there for to them it's "normal". But normality is a curse..

well not exaclty like that but i feel like that i mean when you wake up each day things change and we have to lern to ajust while they change and not just us every one has to.....just think one day we are gonna wake up and this whole world will be totally diffrent!!

anyway, I believe that this civilisation is bad and that humans will wipe themselves out, everyday i see or hear something that remind me to ask myself what are we turning into and with every waking up I realize that this is not the same society I left when fell to sleep, it doesen't matter if it's america or any other part of the world.

well the world is changing every day and people are changing to still be part of this world to fit in..like take now and the 1800es well wat did they wear....the women wore dresses and the men wore other stuff.lol but now wat do women wear we wear wat ever the hell we want to cause that is how society is right now in time....back then women were not concedered worth or fit if they wore wat the men wore and now no one care because now every one is equal to everyone....society has changed since then the goverment has changed everything has changed and it will keep changing....no matter wat if we want ot or not..changing is a big part of life..so yes i know every time i open my eyes from sleeping....the world has changed even if it is a little it has changed!!!

for me, it's kind of like school. You go into it in la la land, thinking that everyone is perfect and you start to find out that ppl are doing drugs and drinking under age. One morning I just woke up and was all of a sudden pissed at the world because it's just like school. There's a nice pretty packaging to look at, but when you open it up, it makes you want to gag! You just don't recognize the world that you live in anymore!

i dont think there is a specific culture anymore...the world is so full of different and new things...i dont even think there was at any point in history, one culture...(that didnt come out right but i cant explain it so...yeah)

hey lycon, have you ever realized that change could/can be bad? Have Americans stopped to wonder if what they do today will drive us down the path of no return tomorrow? have you ever heard the expession of the frogs in the pot, used during the Civil War?

You go out and buy frogs for dinner. You set the pot aboiling with water and finally add the frogs. Notice that they are jumping about with no avail and they finally die. Or you could place the frogs in the pot and slowly bring them to aboil and either way they die.

So u see change can be good or bad but the karma is even worse. trying reading the 'Savage Nation' by Micheal Savage, hes a great radio show host.
