why does most people define bad people fight for darkness and good fights for light u could have some one who has a dark soul but fight for good(light)
and you can have light people who fight for bad peole i hate sterotypes they so mean

I agree with you.

Infact there are people who are two faced.They behave like they are the most good and trustable people in the world then you realise they are assholes.

On the other hand there are people who dress in black and are attracted to the dark side of life, and are the most wonderful persons of the world.

But people only judge others by the image,it's life that'all.

Light and dark, black and white, Good and bad. These are things that we are taught in our youth to be opposites of each other just as right and wrong. A person with a Dark Soul would tend to bend towards the darker side for the reason that we are taught this.

I guess the one with a dark soul who fights for the light is aware that he has a dark soul and that fighting for the light is the 'right' purpose, Its the difference between knowing what is right and doing what is right an eternal struggle,
The person with the light soul who does dark deeds would not see them as dark as they would only perform a dark deed if it was necessary and would be for the greater good and therefore a grey deed. or that person with the light soul would think they had a dark soul to be able to perform dark deeds.

I belive that we should be grey to function as sometimes what we perceive to be evil is necessary and someone has to do it.

well .... i think that if hell is full of fire... then there has to be some light in it... things are more complicated than black and white.... what about the grey?

I've always thought about that! ^_^ I don't really believe in 'good' or 'evil'. I believe that people just have their own opinions on different sides of an issue. Have you ever wondered if the people you would call 'the evil side' call you 'the evil side' as well?? =)

yeah i wud agree with that, people can choose, it all comes down to choice in the end, of how people want to live their lives.

I agree... Someone may have a tainted soul and still be "good" or on the "light" side, or vise versa.

sterotypes is jsut another word for the same and no one is the same so in ym head there is no such thing as a sterotypes

I love the way people think that stereotypes just suddenly appear from nowhere. Stereotypes are around for a reason.

If 75% of people from a certain group of people behave in a certain way then everyone is going to assume that everyone from that group will act that way upon meeting them. I don't think that's such a bad thing. This is something that's evolved in mankind for our own protection.

If you meet 10 people from Planet Zog and 7 of them try to kill you then you're going to say "You wanna watch them Zoggians they're fucking crazy bastards!"

but there really is no evil or good. we are all a mix of the two.
and dark and light can work/fight together. (i have a set of "twin" students, one is a healer and the other is a necromancer and they are a wonderful team.)

In addition:We are taught what's good and evil in our lives but at the end, we are the ones who decide what's evil and good for us.What can be good to me,cannot be for others,for example.

Some say: Not all darkness is evil and evil is in the eye of the beholder.

In a certain way it depends in our believes, but not all of.

I would have dark powers and fight for evil.

I would have the powers granted to me by the Dark gift and protect those I care very much for, others can be be food to keep me refreshed.

I think it's very unlikely that "good" person can be all good. They have to have some vice. Similarly most "bad" people are likely to have redeeming qualities.

I agree with darkadmin, I think good and evil, light and dark, right and wrong is all a bunch of crap. We're taught that as kids and that's what we believe. there is no such thing as light and dark or good and bad, there is only what people do and what they believe.

what is good and what is bad. and is ther not a grey line. i mean good good bad bad. i have a dark nature and so do most of my friends but we help out in the name of good or what we have come to think to be good and yet we condemn ourselves as bad people because we are flawed.

I agree. Stereotypes do suck. There is no rule that says light can't fight for dark and dark can't fight for light.

i agree with you...but i have seen things like dark fighting for good in some tv shows n stuff, cuz they like fall in love with someone from the good side blah blah blah

forget, light and dark. think only about the people involved. you keep refering to light and dark, well stop it. there is no such thing! People believe that there has to be a light and dark, but it's just a tool used to justify actions! if someone does something "bad" they are classified as dark. who are we to say that something is bad. A police officer is good, but killing is bad, right? so if that cop were to shoot someone, that make's him bad,right? No, because he was killing for good. you see, it's messed up! So screw all those labels of light and dark and go with your gut instinct on whether something feels right or not! I like to rant, sorry!

Got to look way back. People feared the darkness because they couldn't see as well as in the light, and therefore predators could stalk them more easily. As people developed, so did their concepts of light being good and dark being bad. Just in our nature and passed down through our evolution.

that's probably because light is source of life for most beings on Earth, and darkness is absence of light which would be absence of source of life, therefore darkess=death, and death is something that is not considered quite good thing
