everybody has these different views on what vampyrism is..... so shouldnt we all be figuring out what it really is?????
shouldnt we be figuring out and piecing things together... i mean obviously people are going to disagree with what is said.... but they will have to compromise or whatever.... i dont know... just sorta put out your thoughts.....

You are the one that was pointing fingers, Elder Dan views the same way as I, I don't sleep in a coffin because i am a vampire, I believe it is a cycle in life, and should be cherished when possible. I have friends that do the same, but arn't sang, or anything, so before you go n say I am following a crowd or anything, get everything straight beforehand...

Funny thing this single thread. "Vampire Topics and Discussion." It's a tiny vr, that's what this whole website is about and has been doing, discussing/debating/conversing on vampire topics in all its colored threads.

LOL. I would love to sleep in a coffin, unfortunately, my place is a bit too small for that. Could you imagine what the neighbors would say seeing us carrying a coffin into the apt?

I've changed our room into a virtual coffin, complete with black satin curtains, and stain glass windows. It works.

There is no such thing as a true deffinition for a vampire... Because vampires come in different forms, we cannot say what is right and what is wrong... Aslong as each individual knows what their powers and limits are, then we should all be happy... Yes, most of us tend to be drawn to the night... Yes, we are drawn to blood and the darkerside... These are common similarities, but that still doesn;t give anyone the right to make "laws" about what a vampire should be...

i suppose your right in a way... but im not really talking about us in general.... more like the hole vampire thing... i dont know... its wierd....

rules are for the movies even if u did make them ppl wouldnt stray out of the box and questions will still pop up

I would hope people do come here to discuss issues and facts. I have found many interesting things here about vampires.

I would think that vampirism would come in as many different shapes and sizes as there are vampires-each having different levels of need, different powers, etc. I agree that vampirism is simply another cycle to our existence, and should be treated with respect.

I believe a lot of misunderstandings come from the way movies project the image of vampires... the movie/tv industry blows the whole thing out of proportion just to sell the movie or the tv series...

well i go by what was said about dragons. We know they exist and we all made different views on them, but basically they are the same and that what i mean about the vampire too. So go vampires.

I think the movies sometimes dabble in truth. Though a lot of times they're candy coated truths.

One of the main problems when it comes to having dicussion, is the underlying 'who is the biggest goth' conpetitions that I have often run into, and its really ridiculous.

This is VAMPIRErave, not who is the craziest r who wears the most make-up, but sometimes the two things get so unfortunately merged that it becomes a contest.

I am sure this won't help but I have issues and facts, should they really be discussed though? I mean do you really want all that rolling around in your head before dinner?

Well, to be really honest (this will probably get deleted) but this ISNT a discussion forum.

Ive been watching things tonight, and each thread is almost always everyone saying an elongated yes or no (and sometimes not even elongated) and not even trying to challenge or understand anyone elses ideas, and sometimes they dont even explain theirs.

How can people bicker when we dont even listen to eachother????????????

No the problem is that this IS a discussion forum, but no one discusses. They don't even usually say "I agree" or "I don't agree". They just say "I don't know enough, I have no opinion."

Those are the posts that get deleted. Those and the ones which blatantly attack an honest opinion. If we can clear the path of that prattle, then we can have an intelligent debate and discussion.

That was what Im basically trying to say. Im not trying to encourage some sort of argument forum, but it would be nice to see people interacting with eachoter in curiosity rather than just in personal opinion, it would give so much more of a 'family' environment to the site, and people could help eachother out in trying to understand and discuss conepts.

Would it be possible to somehow list different views of being a vampire, or what it means to be; in general terms and add it to the Home Page??? Make it part of an intro to VR?? It might help to have some kind of bearing.

Hmmm, what the lifestyle really is, well as a suggestion it may be an idea for you to enquire from some of the real Masters/Sires on Vampire Rave, who do live a Vampiric lifestyle. Or to read the, Black Veil which is a code of ethnics for the lifestyle.

That is always good for a starter suggestions anyway...
