I know this topic probably has been done countless of times but not too sure if this has been mentioned or asked within them.

I know not everyone believes in reincarnation but this thread is for the open-minded so please try to keep this as civil as possible.

As a friend of mine mentioned before elsewhere, they 'feel' or 'sense' that they have lived before in another life but the question is.....how is it that some people can recall a pastlife/s so vividly while others are blocked from remembering? What causes these blocks and can they be opened again?

If you do remember your pasts, how did it come to you? How did it make you feel? What did you learn about your past that may effect your life in the now?

For me, the suggestions are there. There are people who have said they know me, or that i feel 'familiar' to them. Even clues of which doesn't really come from people at all but more from dreams or by things around me that come to me as 'signs'.

I'm curious what you all think and have to say about this topic. ^^

It has come to me in numerous dreams that were beyond vivid....almost like reliving something. Also, lots of feelings of the past, another life, & being here before.
My close friends always tell me that THEY feel like I have been here before.

I am not sure why some people can feel it and others are blocked. Maybe the "blocked" people it is their 1st time here or maybe they don't believe in it, so they are closed off.

i'm not entirely sure that I am "blocked" even though I don't believe in past life the way someone of wiccan faith might... I think it would be entirely romantic to have a past life. I've certainly been called an old soul enough times... but I don't think that nessesitates reincarnation in a "lived on this planet before as cleopatra" kind of thing.

I've been arround alot of people who do past life regression and would certainly liek to try it sometime... it seams they don't give free readings of that nature to family members of their boss... LOL, although I've certainly had enough other kinds of readings for free.

Sometime when I have a days pay to piss, I'll go and do it just to see.

I've not ever had any past life experience at all, as much as I would like to (I believe they are inherited memory.) I always imagine I was a pipecarrier... and have done so since Iwas 4. I have no native blood and only know of pipecarriers because my sister was married to the son of one. So it doesn't fit in with my inherited memory theory.

I also imagine myself as australian aborigini as well, whipping boomerangs playing with dingos and kangaroos, and teaching about the dreaming. But that may come from all the childrens books I read when I lived in Sydney.

With my luck I was probably SS living in Argentina after the war, where I died just before being reborn... Somebody must have been. Maybe I was one of those guys that went looking for the spear *jokes* like in a Indiana Jones bad guy.

Or Ernesto Guevera... that would be cool.

It is my belief that we are condition to act according to our past life experiences in our current life. Many times we feel comfortable or unconfortable with people we do not know and know are way around unfamiliar travel destinations.

We all experience DejaVu... now and then... but, this is not the same as as "Past life experience".
For those that have "blockage" or difficulty in regressing to a previous "life", in most cases, it's a form of protection from a time when we may have been abused (and not always sexually) or, a time in our life when we were not in such a good place and time... maybe living in poverty, separated from certain parts of extended family.... as example.

Some people are more nostalgic then others, as in being moved by such things as theme portrails of certain eras, not all are nostalgically prompted as others.

I,ve had a few , one of the best ones was when i did some mirror magic . I had a candle behind me and i just stared into the mirror for a long time . Then there was this woman looking back at me , and i knew it was me , but from another time . Her features were so different from mine , she was thin and blond , and had quite a stern face . It was quite strange to suddenly realise that , that was me . I found out more about her/me on another occasion , by way of meeting someone that i had known in that life . He must have triggered some memory . I,ve never had it happen intentionally , it just comes as sudden flash backs . I,am quite sure i,ve had them in dreams aswell , and seen other peoples past lives , and found out why they have certain behavioural
patterns . I think if someones blocked from seeing them , the obvious answer would be , that something traurmatic happend and subconsciously you dont want to remember . But really i havn,t got a clue how it works , i couldn,t do it consciously . Maybe some past life regression would help .

i do believe in past lifes i have had flash backs from the gaulic period of germany and of pre christen era as a nomad shaman but much beyond that i have not been able to see

I have found past lives have come back to me through dreams, meditations and flash backs. I may for instance look at the scenes from pompeii and see it when it was once full of colour and life. Sometimes a smell or an image will bring back some memory. Sometimes even watching a documentary can bring back that recall.

99.9% of all the dreams that your sub-conscious will ever produce no matter how real they may seem are all emotionally based, and lack the real world feel. Smells the warmth of the sun the feeling of a shiver, the taste of good foods, none of the senses are utilized. This is one of the distinguishing factors as to whether it is a dream or a past life memorization of events.
