I wonder do example dogs have a much higher sence about what is going on and may be on way to happen then humans do? Last week a women was on way to take hers 2 dogs out on a walk. The dogs refused and started to make weird sounds. Somehow the dogs behavior maded the women to also feel something was on way to happen ,so they stayed inside. Just a few min later an tornado went thru outside on the street. That kind of naturefenomen uselly never happen in sweden , and for sure not in middle of the capitalcity. Ok not so strong as the ones in usa but it was strong enough to rip up some trees etc. But my question is do you think the dogs senced it was on way to happen? Are dogs able to feel what gonna happen by somekind of energy in the air?
Birds take flight before Earth Quakes, Rats abandoning a ship indicate poison atmosphere on deck, or smoldering fire. Dogs sense of smell, can pick up an owners breathe up to 50 feet away ( tested), dogs can find Whale scat on the open ocean ( before it sinks).
Animals are amazing, it is all their sense, not mystical at all.
Alls it takes is for a dog to hear, or smell something it once experienced dangerous, or uncomfortable conditions around, the scent, and sound related become instinctivly triggered.
Dogs are being used to dygnos cancer as well.
Dogs also detect fear, and emotional shifts in humans by our phermonal releases.
My wife has a service dog for epilepsy, the dog can tell her about 15 minutes before she has one so she can lay down and be safe. I think dogs are great and what is dog spelled back wards GOD
I agree with Dabbler. It's stuff they pick up on from experience or hearing, sight, or smell.
usually the two animals knowen to feel or know these types of thing are dogs AND cats. The both have much
higher sences then we.dogs have really good smell,
and can hear very well.Cats can see alot better then dogs, and can hear things as well.
Although its hard to train cats, then dogs.
Animals are more in tune with the earth. and life in general, I think.
I know that right before a quake - whether it be a few seconds to a full minute or two - my cats freak out. And birds always go quiet right in the middle of their racket before a quake too.
A few years ago, I was at home feeling really sick - my chest was hurting, and it didn't feel like the usual asthma pain I use to get. My oldest cat climbed on my chest and licked my chin, purring the whole time. It calmed me down. I later went to the hospital, where they thought that I had some 'mild heart problem'. My cat knew what was up before the rest of us!
All animals have the natural sixth sense when it comes to nature. It is instinct and in their blood.
animals can pretty much sense changes.here in the uk they say if the cows sit then theres a rainstorm coming.and yes does seem cats and dogs too have hightened senses
I don't think they can sense the future just when there is something bad about to happen. I think it is a built in instinct to get the heck out of dodge and run like all hell. I think it is instinctual rather than psychic.
It's all about their instinct they also sense thunderstorms.
As something psychic I'd wonder if they really see spirits, or maybe even in this case it's just their senses.
My dog is is like a weather meter. She won't even go outside prior to a storm. Like Dabbler said, its scientific based. I get headaches prior to a extreme weather change. Its like a built in danger alarm.
I truly think dogs can sense fear and if someone is going to harm another but i do not think they can feel the future..
All animals have a sixth sense. Unfortunately it only comes moments before disaster strikes. An intuned warning system. Perhaps based on their keen sense of hearing as to our own?
So if your animal is acting suddenly strange, pay attention, it could save your life.
Just notice how any animal reacts before a storm. Birds take flight, deer and rabbits take cover. They notice the smell and winds change while we dumb humans just keep on going with our lives not noticing our surroundings.
I have picked up the scent of Ozium ( burnt air particles) I can imagine how
intense that scent is to dogs, who would instintivly be afraid of fire.
theres a cat in an elderly home that is predicting deaths .it's been climbing on the chests of resedents that are about to die ." i bet them old folks are beating the cat with their canes " "get away ".lol poor kitty lol trying to comfort them in their time of need..lol
Yes I have read that many times of the cats laying or going nto an elderly persons room just prior to death. And yes the instincts that animals have is amazing. VB yes indeed I am the same way just before a huge storm hits up here
Dogs also have much better hearing than you or I and may have heard the sound of the tornado that their owner couldn't, and were afraid to go outside because of the howling tornado. There could be a number of different explanations.
Yes, dogs do have heightened senses along with many other animals. Horses, cows, and other barnyard animals can sense tornado's and thunderstorms hours before they occur. Dogs can sense body fluctuations in humans, such as cancer and heart attacks. Cats can sense electromagnetic pulses in the air and warn about lightning strikes and spirits in the home. It's all great, but even with the canine's amazing abilities, I just can't love them. There is just a very thin line between loyalty and stupidity.
hm...good question.
Not sure, although I am pretty sure my cat can *smell* teen spirit.
I think so. We can to. All we have to do is feel for it.
Maybe we humans are to busy with our lives our jobs , family , kids etc etc to be able to sence better. Dogs and cats might be alot better tuned with their sences then us humans.
