Evidently when I first posed this question I took to many linguistic short cuts to make my self clear. I usually just go and expect anyone who would have a worth while comment to be able to keep up. So as I still had the question I will present it again with line by line explanation. If this is still “out of place”, please message me as to why, as I did not feel this question belonged in “the cat box” though perhaps my presentation did.
The original form.
Some objects shine.
Some people shine.
Some people’s minds shine.
Some people’s souls shine.
I like things that shine.
*hop..bounce grin*
what shines for you?
With that statement I meant many things. I was saying, there is beauty in the world, it can be found in the objects of nature and man. There is beauty in mankind their form their thoughts their spirit. So here I humbly (or not so humbly as the case may be) present my question again, with line by line explanation.
Some objects shine.
~some objects have intrinsic value either monetary, i.e. precious metals or stones, or esthetic, i.e. the colors and contours of a shell or flower.
Some people shine.
~some people’s physical bodies are beautiful in form, i.e. well proportioned, or function, i.e. well coordinated.
Some people’s minds shine.
~some people’s thoughts have a spark that inspires.
Some people’s souls shine.
~some people’s sprit runs deep, with its own beauty.
I like things that shine.
*hop..bounce grin*
~I seek and appreciate beauty in its myriad forms, and will continue with my enthusiastic pursuit.
What shines for you?
where do you find beauty.
*Grin* I do not only associate beauty with goodness. But I understand.
Personally, I would say all of the things you mention shine.....but the most shine for me comes from the Soul.
I like shiny things toooo.... especially when reffering to places.
it happens when i just walk around, going nowhere (possibly depressed and smoking) -and there it is!! a garden, a square, something that gives peace or provides answers and then, i always return.
animals shine too... nature shines...
sadly when it comes to people & their soul i don't "do" much of the shining.... though i know they do, i can't feel/see it, it's just not my cup of tea
How can one choose when there is so much beauty in the world around us?
I agree from the soft interior of a precious shell, to the sleek movements of a snake, to gems, to souls.... Everywhere you look is something shiny and beautiful. You look up into the sky at night and know there is so much more out there that we have yet to see, touch, hear, smell and taste.
The universe is full of shiny wonder! But when most of us look in the mirror we missed seeing the most beautiful and the most shiniest things of all and thats our very own soul! To which the beauty of the universe cannot match!
Wonderful thread :)
When my wife had our two sons there was a shine (or glow)about her. The same could be said when we got married. I'm sure I did on the same accounts. Don't now if any of this shine (or glow) is scientific. But it is a way to put it in words that people understand. Hope this is what you mean.
wow too many things to choose from i guess love and passion shine the most for me
Beauty from within the soul shines as the soft flutter of a butterfly as it slowly passes you. The water that flows from the waterfalls, as the first fresh snow shines as tho it has diamonds embedded in it. Animials souls shine as they nudge you for a gentle pat. People's eyes shine that have happiness. So many things shine, if only we can see them for everything that shines is right in front of us.
Freedom, love and selfishness(in a good sense) are the things that I find shine in the world the most. Freedom, because those who are truely free (no, not you America, your not free, your just cheap) are able to do the things that make them the happiest. Other people must fight for the scraps of freedom, but the truely free, the rebels, the insurgents to corrupted governments, outlaws with a conscience, the dead...are able to have what freedom really is. To be free. Love, because, aside from being able to make yourself happy, love creates a bond that can make two or more people very happy. A young couple in love shine in ways that are invisible, but are more clear than a man who gives millions to charity. Love creates life through passion and romance and finally, committment. Selfishness because when one can stop becoming to others, can stop looking to friends and family for help and protection, then he or she is beyond all the rest who still do. To break the bonds of fellowship is not the harsh, cold thing that people make it out to be. Lets face it, people get melodramatic if something is seen as "bad." But in reality, your life revolves around you. You deserve something more out of it than a pat on the back for helping others. When you can make yourself seen above other people, you can shine out the lower forms of light and create yourself a new image of light and/or dark. Yes darkness shines as much as light. Just my view on shining and whats important and beautiful in this world.
Yes coughcool, I did mean that. You are speaking of soul shine.
Soul shine explanation expanded.
Some people’s souls shine.
~some people’s sprit runs deep, with its own beauty.
Some people’s souls shine.
~some people’s sprit runs deep, with its own beauty.
~~sometimes peoples sprit is strong (emotionally or otherwise) and shines out.
The look of an excited child's face. the sparkle in someone's eyes.
I think my niece and nephew shine for me. Also when I look in the mirror at times I can see a lot of my mother in me, and I guess that makes me shine because she was such a wonderful woman *smile*
Yes, it is. I think the only time I ever see it is when I notice that I look a lot like my mother :)
Many thing shine. Some may see the shine of a good soul. Some may see the shine of outdoor world. I personally usually see the shine of the outdoors.
Whether it be the natural beauty of an untouched forest. Or a Man Made Garden. Or just something as simple as seeing a newly planted tree or plant grow.
Exactly. The natural world with pure energy shimes for me. Being in parks or forests is wonderful in that sense.
Cyan and Astrid you are perfectly right, to see the shining beauty within your self is a precious gift that many fail to see, and thank you for reminding me of it.
I find "shine" in my step children.... they have an air about them when they come to see their father and myself.... We love having them over..... I think they are the most wonderful, beautiful, little guys ever...
Personally, I would say all of the things you mention shine.....but the most shine for me comes from the Soul. i see it everywhere whiether it be inside of people or children that come certain I have had this onipion that said if you look and hard inside of any person or anything you will find just a little piece of them that will always shine tho everytime.
Life is beautiful and shiney to me. In all that it entails.
The darkness shines ever so black, the emptiness I feel shines to all I engulf around me. Those whom I cherish and whom I feel a oneness with shine most of all...
I mostly see the "shine" in young children who haven't been influenced yet by the greed, hate, pain, etc. of the real world.
A lot of people tend to look from the outside but I take and somehow see the inside when it comes to the beauty that shines through and I mean the true beauty not the fake that is on the outward appearance.
the shine for me comes from some's inner most beauty....a kind or old soul
I find beauty in different forms. As a person with ADD, I am highly attracted to physically shiny objects. I can sit and stare at a shiny object for unlimited amounts of time.
I also find the "shine" in nature. I think that our natural environment (IE: A big forest) is extremely shiny. I love sitting and losing myself in the woods.
Animals, to me, have more shine that people. People are tainted, they feed off of negative energies as well as positive. With animals (at least, most domesticated ones) even when treated poorly, most will continue to have that special shine to their spirit. I love surrounding myself with animals, both wild and domestic.
I guess I have complex thoughts about shinyness elsewhere though. :)
All things shimmer, shine, and gleam...In a good way, a bad way, or a dull way.
But good things, bad things, and dull things are all relative and a matter of opinion.
Everything in this world shines brighter than the sun, you just have to ask the right person to look for what you can't see =]
not much shines for me, the world is dull and dusty for me...
i guess if you optimistic thought wise you can find things that shine or rather you shine and they find you...
I think maybe this lost something in its simplicity when it had to be explained.
I understand completely what you mean, and I am sure everyone has felt varying degrees of this.
I generally have very humanist views, and sometimes I feel like evrything shines in its absolute potential, and that is truly one of the best feeling sin the world... therefore, it makes me shine.
I believe that something horrible things can be just as if not more beautiful then something pure and good
is it not a personal view of how we perceive things that shine.
What shines for one may not shine for another -- i feel i shine in certain areas but i need a catalyst to be near for that to take effect.
I find shine, and beauty, in the swift realization of my wishes.
Also I shine being ruthless.
And eating an ice cream.
And having sex.
And killing ppl.
And eating sausages,
and drinking lemmonade with out sugar.
(uhh really it goes on what all shines to me)
And I do find the only true beauty, honest to me, in the mirror.
to me the new life of children shine brightest to me and I also feel that personalities and things that comes from someones heart shines most to me.
your soul and inner beauty shine most if you have a good soul to me and as above children shine most out of all.
i find beauty in alot of different things.
Children smiling, the stars, sunsets, music, movies. Not just the hot people that play in them the movie and music its self are beautiful. I find beauty in vampires the pail skin and fangs. Most of the people I have met here are just beautiful people. Not the faces and bodies but the personalities.
what else i found shine in was in my fiance when i asked her to marry me and gave her a ring. i never seen her shine like that before.
For me it is my kids' eyes lighting up while telling me they love me.
i agree with you there psyche . that and the way there eyes shine when you tell them that you love them
