Umm...How do you help the spirits of the dead...move on to the next life?

you create the light aroundyou, you make them able to see it and then you open for them the channel fo light so they can enter and leave peacefully,

Is this a general question or are you thinking of someone in particular ?

Generally 'ask and it shall be given'....the safest bet for someone untrained is as simple as a prayer if your personal beliefs allow it.

well I don't think that any one can make a spirit see the light and move on, I think that if the spirit comes to you asking for help then you will be able to help that spirit resolve problems and then maybe it can move on, but I don't think there is a way that we can do any thing for them, but we can just kind of help them along.

I have never personally helped someone cross over but a friend of mine has and they say that if you help them to resolve the issues that are holding them here they will be able to cross over. She swears to this technique and has used it many times.

I make the light appear on each of my side when I am with several spirits seaking it, or even just one, the only thing is that they dont always want the light and are not seaking it, some even want to go away from it, so it makes it hard to help them.

I believe that if a spirit chose to see and or walk into the light, it would be their own decision.

I personally believe that ghosts or spirits move on when they want to i do not think they need someone to show them the light or whatever a person wants to call it, i think they move on when they want to...

You have to figure out why they are still lingering and help from there

I agree with RavenKnight on this.. i dont think there is anything you can do to make them move to "the light" its something they would have to do on their own

i agree with both of you. i dont beleive there is anything one person can do to have a spirit go into the light. now if a person was ordained, they might have a chance to help in direction. but as far as saying its there go to it.. that dont happen.. in my opinion :)

I really don't think you can do anything. If it's a poltergeist or a restless, chaotic, violent spirit, you might need to get somebody to perform an...exorcism, or something similar to dispelling the evil spirit from where it currently resides.

I don't think its your place to make someone move on unless they asked you for help.

You can remove them from your presence, but if they aren't ready to move on, its not up to you.

umm the only way i know of to help one move on is to find out what happen to them in their human life before they died.

I would imagine it would be different from person to person.

There is probably a way to do what you ask. I wouldn't know what it is though. All I can think of is to give them as much energy as you can to help them achieve what they need.

Yes you can and I since I do see ghost I have sent a couple to the light . Some are just lost and don't realize that they are dead.

I don't really know. From what I've experienced, it is actually the spirits choice, when they are released from the host, to choose whether they haunt, rebirth, move on, or whatever. This is from experience with a past gf of mine. So I have experienced it.

the spirits are looking for assitance in finding the light. Some spirits are really not sure what is going on either. Hos u help them i dont know

im not sure. i guess if you have the ability to see them you might be able to help them

I don't believe there is anything you can do, If a spirit hasn't moved onto another life it's because of their own reasons that they need to work out on their own

I agree with BloodyVampireRose when a ghost or spirit is done doing what they have to do on earth they will move on to the next life...

Some don't realize they're dead, some don't want to move on. If this is the case and they aren't ready or willing to move on it's not your place to try to make them.

I say, pack them a lunch in a brown paper bag... maybe put their things in a big kerchief and tie it to a stick for them...

Really.. they're dead, they don't need to take that much with them if they move...

I would try to talk to ghosts if it needed to come that if they if was needed for them to get help to move on the other side so too speak.

A lot like to stay where they are. However to help them is as simple as talking to them and telling them to go to the light and be at peace.

Apocapus.. i believe they are allready there... I belief in the existence of realities beyond our understanding..

A spirit hangs around for several reasons the first one is that they have some unfinished business. By trying to help them complete thier unfinshed business then they are able to croosover. The other reason is they still can not believe that thier phsical body is now no longer. Thsi is harder to convince them that they are no longer on this earth as they once used to be.

You have to help them come to terms with what may be keeping them here...also some just choose to not cross over...

I'm not sure we have any say or control over Helping Ghosts cross/move on.
And surely I don't assume we can push them onwards.
I do beleive that you can keep the spirits good and bad from influencing yourself ....
That should be all that matters, ... IMO.

I believe if ya have the power you need to help the ghost or spirit to the light that is the only way to help it.

You cant pre say really help a spirit cross over in the sense that you never know if they are truely ready to cross over...they may have unfinished business therefore are staying behind!!
