There are 8 gates in witch craft when you work with conjouring trance work

1. The Gate Of Healing,
2The gate and dreams of creations
3. The Gate of Knowlege
4. The Gate of Memories
5. The gate of History
6. The Gate of Purpose
7. The Gate Of Unity
8. The Gate of Devinity.

In the book it says there are a few that are unable to go there. Thats the last Gate What is your opinions.?

It seems to make sense. The last gate would seem to be the end of the journey, so to speak.

Please would you indicate which book you are referring to, so that people might have a reference point to discuss this from.

I'm not sure I quite understand fully what you're asking, so forgive me if I read the question wrong.

If some can't enter through the Gate of Divinity, that would make sense right? As someone in the posts above said, it would be the last part of your journey, so to speak, so that would make sense.

I think that it would be the hardest gate to reach because it is the last gate or the last part of your journey. You probably have to have a certain amount of experience in order to make it to that gate.

As far as the last gate...I think it would make sense...because I would feel that it all depends on how you lived your life, how you practiced magick...whether using it against people or for the benefit of others and such.

It would seem to me that the last step would be the hardest and therefore the hardest to attain.

The last step in anything should be the hardest, and the one that the fewest number can take. Maybe this relates back to whether we can be gods or not. Only the few can make it.

I think that Devinity is the hardest gate to reach. That is perfection, and i think that it´s very difficult to reach...

it is pretty logical that to reach the last stage of anything it cannot be attend by everyone but only by few, otherwise it would be simply a basic and not a deep comintment in your effort and achevement, it is after learning, evolving and blossoming that one may reach higher or further path, steps or trance.

Trance work is a very established part of ritual work. The levels or gates that the author references to however They are logical steps though. Yet I would think that getting to the Divinety gate would be a hard one to do . Of course I am not real knowldgeable in this just an observation.

Ah, Silver RavenWolf, a very good friend of mine. I own both the magic cauldron and the Silver Broomstick. My wife enjoys both with great passion, as well as most of Llewellens books.

She has some very valid points, as well as being a high priestess herself, she comes out quite accurate. When I was into the craft, a couple of friends of hers as well as herself, let me join in on some festivities. Wonderful work. Excellent experiances.

With it being the last gate and the highest level to obtain, it would make perfect sense of it being the hardest to accomplish.

i think every one is right. the last gate being that of divinity it would there for have to be the last step in ur journey of knowledge. it would be upon ur death that u would reach that part. because like every one has stated above me. it is the last step in the ladder of knowledge.

As stated a million times in here the last step is always the hardest, and divinity is always the hardest to achieve , as far as silver raven wolfs work i have read it before, i have a few of her books i use them as references mostly, but thats based on the fact that i have other things by better people , expirance has alot to do with what you will choose to use and wont choose to use, if your a fan over hers,try her suggestions maybe they will work or may be look into konstintinos work, reguardless , anything you do the last step will always be the hardest to obtain in any situation that you may undertake in reguards to the arts that is.

Well the last gate suggests to me that it is only achievable once you have reached and understood all the previous gates. Perhaps the last gate is only reachable by physical death after a long healthy spiritual life. Once you have come to understand yourself as a person on all levels.

yes you maybe right that it is only reachable by death, maybe why very few have made it thus far
