I was intrigued by William Bradley's " The Gods of Eden". The book reveals that humans were seeded by "Alien Custodial Races" for slavery.
And that even up to now, these Aliens still exert their influence upon mankind.

I just can't help but wonder, could Vampires have originated from an alien race with vampiric characteristics that mingled and eventually breed with humans?

Your thoughts on these are greatly appreciated...

There was a member on here before, Unigon I think, who proposed that Vampires have short purple fuzzy hair completely covering them, and were created from pygmies by aliens.

There is apparently a bunch of these aliens living completely undetected in New York.

As for me, I am undecided. I kinda like the whole evolution theory for humans. Though I have contemplated seriously the idea of alien implantation.

Personally, I don't think so. Vampires are a race in and of themselves that have been around since the begining, and I believe that aliens exsist out there somewhere, but I don't think they're the ones who created the human race. Though, it would be interesting.

As those called "vampires" descended directly from the Sumerian "Anunnake," later vilified by the Semitic cultures of Canaan as the "Nefilim" or "Fallen Angels," and as these beings were in both accounts reputed to have "descended from the skies," then it would seem apparent that they very well might have been an alien offshoot of the Homo Sapiens species given that they did procreate with Human females during this time and later when their descendants were vilified as "vampires."

I guess the idea isn't anymore far fetched than the idea of aliens planting humans here. So why not? haha

Correction on my post...The author was William Bramley not Bradley...Sorry. But anyway, intriguing comments heh...I personally kinda like Vampires the way they're suppose to be, a preternatural race of their own and not alien offshoots...

It could be possible but I don't think so. Most of the stories I have studied all of the vampires where earth bound and created here. I guess no one will really ever know.

This was posted recently and with equally unsubstantiated reasoning, but if people wish to take it down the route of discussing the Anunnake and Nephilim, then I'll let it run.

I have found that those who deride the Anunnake/Nefilim/Vampire connection as "unsubstantiated" have either not studied the subject together with the original Eastern European accounts or are too personally invested in the Media-created, popular image of the vampire, based on truly unsubstantiated fiction, as the fang-wielding, blood-drinking, asexual, immortal "Undead."

The unexplained will always have a slew of theories attached to it. Thus the reason it's called unexplained. ;)

While I find the theory of vampires being alien in nature, I'm not sure I can make myself really buy into that. I still lean toward the theory that vampirism was a simple virus that scared people that couldn't explain it. Remember when vampire folklore was rampant, it was a time of ignorance. You don't hear about vampires much anymore unless it's in the fictional capacity.

Despite the strong evidence that the Anunnake ("Fallen Angels") were the progenitors of those later demonized as "vampires," yet I, too, cannot make the leap to believing them to have been of a species other than Homo Sapiens, whether originally of this world or not. The very fact that these "Fallen Angels" and, later, "vampires" were both said to have "(come) in unto the daughters of men..." who then "...bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." (Genesis 6:4) proves that they must have also been Human to have been able to reproduce. Same also with the vampires who, likewise, were reputed to have sired children by the many women with whom they consorted sexually, which trait was the first ascribed to "vampires" long before the first claims to their being bloodsuckers.
