Take note... 9 out of 10 sequels never match the original...even worse when it is straight to dvd sequel...and Cory Haim isn't supposed to be in it.

cory feldman was hot i did not like haims LOL i think it was kiefer thoe that made the movie the first time

Feldman is playing the same character...but as a man...the plot is years later...then the first one.

I think as long as a movie is well written it is never too late for a sequal.

While it has been a long time since the movie first came out I am hoping that this new movie will be as good. So, no, I don't think it is too late to bring a new one out.

i'm just happy that they scrapped "lost girls", yes it was real and made it to the script stage of the game before it was shot down..... that script was..... *shutters*

the Lost Boys is one of my all-time favourite films so I'll watch it purely to see what they've done with it...but I'm not holding out much hope. The trailer I watched - apart from Edgar announcing "your sister's a suck-monkey!" (classic line!) looked to be nothing more than a gratuitous badly-done vampirerotica attempt.

Still, I'll reserve final judgement until I've watched it.

Going straight to DVD doesn't sound hopeful, and would of been nice to have it sooner but its never too late. With the skills they have today in movie making that they didn't have years ago should help!!! Really loved the first!

YESSSSSSS!!! AWESOME!!! WELCOME BACK COREY!! I will absolutely be seeing this movie, and adding it to the collection. Even if it is cheesey or bad, I'm still going to appreciate the first couple of times I watch it.. unless its really bad. Then its chickens feet, voodoo, and a little bit of peprika to send that mofo to the great bonfire in the sky.

I think it's retarded and stupid to even try and make a sequel to a great vampire movie what were they thinking I for one don't like the idea of this sequel but if it makes these so called goths who say there goth yet have never even seen the original actually go and watch the original then by all means lets have the sequel.

I love the original but I dont know about this sequel. Either way I'm buying it. lol

Though nothing can top the original to me, I will still see this just because vampire movies are the best no matter if they turn out cheesy!

I think it is too late for the sequel. I mean don’t get me wrong I love the first one own it on dvd and vhcs and i would look at the second one and buy it as while beacuse i love vampires so much

It has been a long time since the orginl but regardless i will still watch it and then just add it to my collection i still have the sound track to the first one some where in my collections

I'll agree with Hellsgardian69 on the matter of sequels not doing well. Especially with Pirates of the Carribean, lol. But i will just have to wait and see with Lost Boys: The Tribe. i wish not to judge on this one. I would rather see it first. I also must admit that i am excited.
