The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

The line up has been announced for the next edition of Dracula's Ball in Philadelphia, PA.

Instead of the usual Haloween Night date, it has been moved to the night of November 1st..."The Day of the Dead". Them move results in the switch from Daylight Savings Time to Easter Standard Time occuring just as the Ball would have been scheduled to end. So for this edition of the Ball instead of having to head home at 2:00AM, they will turn back the clock an hour and party on!

The artists performing at this edition of the Ball will be Mediaeval Baebes and Zombie Girl with a special appearnce by Gerard McMann at Midnight to perform the Goth Classic "Cry Little Sister".

There will also be a fourth dance area set up with DJs spinning Medieval music exclusivley.

Tickets are $15.00 and this is an all ages event (21+ for access to the Velvet Underground and upstairs bar areas), and are on sale now. You can pick them up at the usual outlets, Isotank.com, Digital Ferret in Philly and Ticketmaster.

Normally 4 times a year.

Sometime in February / early March, Memorial day weekend, Labor Day weekend and Halloween. They are having a 5th one this year on New Years Eve. It will coincide with the normal Wednesday night "Nocturne" event wich takes place at the same venue. Patrick is dropping hints about the band for the NYW show. A "Big Name" Goth band that is currently touring.

Certainly "Costume Friendly", especially the Halloween edition.

Some people dress in costume, some just dress "Goth", from Cyber Goth to Gothic Lolita. And some just show up in Jeans and T-shirts, but they are the minority.

Sweet, I thought so but I didn't want to look like an ass coming in costume if no on else was....lol

I lack a dress as of right now but I think I might get draged off to the Ball this year.

As I have no idea how many amy be under 21 yo, let's try to meet up on the main floor, on the raised area in the back by the vendors at about 9:30 pm.

I will not be there, I am starting to get sick and I am trying to take it easy as I recuperate. I wanted to meet so many of you there, maybe next time.

We never managed to get into Philly to pick up tickets so we ended up ordering them on-line from IsoTank and we are heading in early on Saturday evening to pick them up before the event.

For those of you who are new to the event...Try to get there by 9:00 in order to get free parking in the Shampoo lot. If the lot is full DO NOT pay to park at the old power plant at the end of Willow St.. Drive around the block - There is usually free street parking along the roads in the area. Only pay to park as a last resort!

JUST got home from the Ball! I had a freakin blast! Im going to make it a point to go for New Years!
