A lot of the vampires play at being rich, seen as powerful, living in the penthouse's of the building they own. They think the power is cash, owning the government officials as they play the stupid games among the humans. But for us true vampires- it's anything but. I don’t care about money, money that just buys stuff that you don’t need. As a vampire all you need is blood, a safe haven to spend the day. And why herd the humans? Just use them for what they are here for- food.
I mock today’s standard of power when all you need is the woods and humans to pray on. Hunter of the night, I seek and let the beast out as the sun sets, dreading the time it rises. But the night. Oh the wonderful darkness of night does not cost one cash. With the ease of being a perfect predator, I belong to the wild and the wild belongs to me. The call of the beast’s need is heard on the wind, as the humans hide in their homes, thinking they are safe. They are not.
Mmm …the power of the hunt, the chase as the human runs, heart beating in fear as the rich hot blood flows faster and faster. Can you hear it? It calls to the beast like a lover in the night, promising sweet release. Forget the blood bags, the donors. This is what our kind is made to do. Animals run from me, even the bears as I am the top predator of the night. Make no mistake, this beast will not be stopped.
Fear in their eyes as I catch my pray, letting them see the animal that is inside of me. What screams they give. Even a simple human can feel the beast’s power, the overwhelming hunger. While they meet it with fear, we relish the feeling. The sound of my howl echo between the trees as the beast takes its prize, and we feast. That is when the vampire is most alive, as the beast inside quenches its thirst. And as I take in the hot blood flowing down our throat, I feel the real meaning of a vampire’s power.
We are the clan of the beast.
What's in a name?
What does Madadh-Alluidh mean? It is a Gaelic term for wolf and as such, the House representation is an image of a wolf. As the standing Master of the House, I honor the inner beast that vampire lore speaks of. When you think of a vampire, you have to understand the need he/she would have for blood. That craving that takes over, so strong. Blood is what gives them life, will not survive without. And the one thing you can say about a vampire- the drive to survive is strong.
In Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodline, we are told the Gangrel clan are mostly loners and prefer solitude. They are the closest to nature and the beast inside than any other vampire. They are considered the most feral and predatory, animalistic vampires. They know the beast inside, and they control it when they must. But other times they relish letting it control them.
None of us really changes over time. We only become more fully what we are.”

**Work in Progress**As one of the seven original houses of vampire rave, Madadh- Alluidh has a rich history. As the original Master Vampire CrazyWolf was tasked with the honor of naming the house, and choosing it's representative, The Wolf. This part of Madadh- Alluidh can never change and have been immortalized on Vampire Rave since December 9, 2005. The House has seen many great masters over the years including the Legendary Deity, ToiletDuc and Silverbow. Since January 16th 2011 the house is under the loving care Vampirewitch39. The current crest was designed by MooniePie, this main page was updated and designed by vXVampre and Vampirewitch39 on April 4th 2023. Below are a few of the past house crests that were pulled from the depths of the internet as a remembrance of days past many moons ago.**Work In Progress**
“It’s almost as if we each have a vampire inside us. Controlling that beast, that dark side, is what fascinates me.”
What is expected of new Members? Obedience All members must follow the rules set out by the House Master in addition to the ToS and in accordance with the VR manual.
Civility You will be considerate and show respect to each other. Keep the golden rule in mind when interacting with one another. We do not all have to be best friends, but we do need to always be polite and civil to one another.
Loyalty We may disagree on topics, but at the end of the day we are still one house. We come together to share our lives, our feelings throughout the day. This is what makes this House the place you wish to spend your precious free time.
Activity If you do not wish to share in the forum, then you need to earn favors. While no required postings or favors will be listed, you should understand you are expected to enrich the House with your presence. You need to prove your worth in the clan of the beast.
"We enjoy the night, the darkness, where we can do things that aren’t acceptable in the light. Night is when we slake our thirst."~ William Hill
What we look for in new Members? Sense of Humor: If you cannot take a joke or find humor in the world around you, then you do not belong in Madadh. Our House is a recreational refuge from everyday life, and all that it brings.
Intelligence: No PhD required but the ability to carry on a thoughtful discussion is a much-desired trait.
Sense of Self: While ours is the Wolf House we do not run in a pack. Each of our Members is unique and wonderful on their own.
Age: While this House is open to all ages, maturity is what we look for no matter the age.
Grounded In Reality: While you have learned what the House stands for, don’t expect to find beasty vampires inside. The lore of the vampire is honored here, not played out in roleplay.
If this sounds like a society you care to call home, please contact the House Master VampireWitch39
