Made it home late last night and am quite tired today but lots to do anyway. We had planned to spend most of yesterday still in Disneyworld before heading up to St Augustine for a day or two of beach and history but early Friday morning we got a couple of calls from relatives some crying that my Uncle Bud was in ICU and it was looking really bad for him. So we rushed our packing and threw everything in the car and hit the road north. We managed to get moving out of Orlando about 11:00 am and made really good time pulling into home just after 11:00PM. I drove the whole 750+miles there and back, reckon I have control issues about being driven? lol Anyway we checked on Uncle Bud this morning and he's still very ill but with us so will be trying to get to see him, not sure if I can since I caught a summer cold and he has COPD but at least I can wear a mask and be there for my Aunt and cousins. My elder brother also got a call and he and his wife took off work early and headed this way too they got in just a few hours before we did.
I want to see Rat and Birdy but I can't until I get this cold and sinus infection under control. At least I can talk to them on the phone now :)

We'll be leaving about noon after my neice sees the dentist which should get us close to Atlanta about you know it.... rush hour. So sounds like a good time for a break to me then we'll get back moving when traffic eases up around the city. I'd really like to make it to at least Valdosta before stopping for the night but I'm not going to wear myself out or driving tomorrow will just be a pain. When we get to the park tomorrow we'll pick up our tickets and just dump our luggage at the hotel until later, we'll head for Epcot first. That's where my neice wants to get the most information for the report she has to write for school.
It's going to be a fun vacation, we always enjoy Disneyworld and my nephew is just now old enough to really have fun. :) Tuesday I get to have lunch with BubbleGumClaudia and I'm looking forward to that :)
We'll be leaving the next Friday afternoon and plan to head up to St Augustine to get on the beach and let my nephew see the ocean for the first time ever plus all the historical stuff there will be interesting for my sister and I and give even more fodder for my neice's school report.
We'll be coming back home on Sunday and I just know falling down on my own bed will feel like a dream come true.
I might be online tonight if our hotel has wireless but after that I don't see being back around until next Saturday or Sunday, so everyone have a great week and lots of fun. I plan on it. :)

My sister and I are going to go to Disneyworld in Orlando in a couple of weeks, taking her 2 kids. It should be a wonderful trip. We're going to stay at the Contemporary right at the parks with a view of Magic Kingdom's fireworks show. We're getting really excited plus my sister will have her 44th birthday while we're there. She says she's having it with Mickey Mouse.... I'm not even going to try and figure out if she means dinner or ??? it makes my head hurt to think of it but she is divorced now. lol *Rat you tell her I wrote this and I'll come back and haunt you when she kills me.*
Anyway we're leaving on the 17th with a stop over planned in Southern Ga for one night or maybe going on to Daytona beach for one night then over to Orlando for the week.
Then we're headed back the next Saturday and while I'll probably drive straight through to get back to my own bed (I always did before it's about 14hours) but if I don't feel like it we can always get a room in Ga somewhere and rest before finishing.
We've got our luggage gathered and aired out and have lists for each of us of what we need to pack. Now it's just seeing how much we end up forgetting. lol

Felt like changing my picture and luckily Rat gave me so many options last time we took some pics I am spoiled for choice. I do like this bit of a darker one though so going to run with it.
