The Alliances do indeed rock!
Orbis Angui, which my Tinnu account is a part of, has joined HE's Alliance, Arthropoda. And it is seriously awesome! We've got HE, The Coven of Imperium Silver Crystal, Chateau Orleans, and Oppressed Debauchery in the Alliance. It's going to be really fun to be able to hit HE again, and to be able to check out Oppressed Debauchery, and Chateau Orleans. I've been wanting to check them out for some time now.
I really love this new addition to VR. I mean, I REALLY LOVE it.

The more I find out about the new Alliances, the more I LOVE the whole concept.
Granted, it does kind of suck to not have the private Society forums, but, you know, that's not a huge loss. I think the ability to go and interact with all Societies under your respective Alliance is a fantastic idea. I've always been a wanderer, as you can tell in the countless amount of Societies I've been a part of over the years, but I feel this new deal with the Alliances can keep even someone like me happy. The ability to interact within several different Houses or Covens while still belonging to one core group, it's fantastic.
And, of course, to you who don't like the idea, this new addition is not mandatory, you do not have to join an Alliance. So, no need to get your knickers in a bunch if you're not too keen on the whole concept. Though, I can't see why one wouldn't. This would have been perfect back when I still ran a Coven.
As it stands, neither of the Covens I'm currently a part of have joined an Alliance, so I can't say first hand how anything is. But, should either of my CM's decide to do such, I look forward to the interaction with the other Societies.

These new Society Alliance deals are pretty awesome. It should make things a bit more interesting, being able to interact with the other Societies under your Society's Alliance.
