UK basketball really is a religion unto itself. We scream at TVs, truly believing the refs were bought and paid for by the opposition's team. Our memories consist of heroic feats by the Come Back Cats and stained with Christian Christian Laettner shots. You can spot us all over the globe with our team colors, t-shirts, and hats, and if you love Duke or UNC you better run away as fast as you can. Beyond the local sports bar, Kentucky cities are silent during games the way some places shut down for church. We may have our bad seasons; we may gloat of our total wins, our goal medals, and championships as the good 'ol days. But we will indeed try to forget the years of Billy G and move forward seeking out our new demigod.

Maddy is doing much better. There are still some lil sores healing on her foot, but it is not swollen and the antibiotics appear to really be working. She’s romping around with a black sheep in her mouth as carefree as can be.

My lil pup looks so miserable. The vet shaved on the hair on one of paws revealing a very red swollen foot. More than likely it was a minor injury of some sort, but her obsessive licking turned it into a groaning experience. The cone around her head is for the best, but I feel for her as she bumps into walls and chairs. I just want my little baby to get better :/

Oh, that licking...We struggled with MB constantly licking. It was in its way as bad as the accident. It's so hard to watch our furry little loves suffer. Just keep your face in the bullseye of that cone so she has a beloved cheek to smooch on.
