When people that follow that god find better explained more embracebable gods they stop sacrificing to that god and so the priest eventually lose the ability to appease the gods so maybe they can die in tht regard fade away to obsolution.

i believe a God needs to be worshipped

is this not why they are there

why they create in their own image

why they encourage the conversion of the non believers

and yes i believe without worship they fade and die away or at least move on to another continuum

If all evidence of a belief is destroyed then it holds no power and over time is forgotten and dies.
