I had to say goodbye to my cat, Isis today. She was a small girl, only 8 pounds at her peak but down to 4.5 pounds in the last month. Her liver started having some troubles over the past month, past two days she stopped eating and I decided to do the right thing and end it before the pain got bad.
She was a super sweet cat. Her only fault was that she liked to pee on high-pile rugs so I haven't had them for 15 years. Now I can get a few rugs to see how I like them again. This is the third time I've held a pet while they die and it really doesn't get easier with experience. This morning I brought her into my bed and we just cuddled for a few hours before the drive to the Vet. My kitty was on my lap when the Vet gave her the shot and she was so close to me in my arms she just slipped quietly. It's agonizing, but personally I can't imagine not being there.
I definitely don't want to do the super depressing thing though - she had a good long life and was a great cat. She was raised with Fireplace Cat that passed a few weeks ago and I kind of suspected Isis would join him soon. Sadly I was right. I'm a bit sad and drinking whiskey but I made the right choice. As an aside, I no longer have people side-eyeing me when I tell them my cat's name is Isis. As if yes, asshole, I named my fifteen year old cat after a terror group named five years ago. Because the name Isis has NO possible other meaning. Wankers, all of them.
Isis is also the name of Catwoman's dearest cat :3 It's a pretty name, she looks like she was precious. I adore cats, I've also held a couple in my arms while they died. It's hard, but at least they aren't alone, and know they were loved. That's the gentlest death any of us can hope for.
I'm sorry for your loss. It's hard when you lose them in succession like that, but sometimes it's just inevitable. Like when my three passed two years ago within a month of each other.

I like the bed. I love the armor. Like the hanging toys. The floor fake bear rugs, nay. Did I mention how much I like the bed? Though I would change the flooring and those BRIGHT walls. I would put in a flooring that is darker and on the line of cork because I would not want to hurt my Lili when we played in the room if she was dropped to that floor. Oh, and did I mention how much I do like the bed? I laughed when I read it had 500,000 views in 24 hours. The price is not bad either. Excuse me while I go try to see how much the bed is. I just finished the Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks and highly recommend them. I loved the magic system in the series and it was interesting because characters are attuned to different colors and can cast various magic based on the color's properties. For example, if there's no green in a room and you can only cast green, you are SOL. Multichromatic casters are highly regarded because of this. The Prism is the guy who can cast all colors and uses that ability to regularly "balance" the amount of each color being used throughout the world.
But now I have no idea what to read next so...help! Anyone currently reading anything good?

Superbowl was absolute garbage. We played board games with the game on in the background. Between being forced to watch the Patriots again and Maroon 5, I'm thinking the NFL is just phoning this in at this point. Plus side, the XFL is starting back up so maybe we can start watching something a bit more exciting. Only good thing about it was Glady's Knight singing the anthem, she nailed it of course.
I noticed that too when he started singing the first song. On YT too the views are real bad. There might be 1 out of 100 who had something positive to say about it. In a way too I do not think its there fault because the first few artiest they asked turned it down something about the players that take a knee, so they were boycott it and finally they got someone to say yes. I think it was just a month ago that they got Maroon 5, if I remember right.
I have a confession to make. I just told Liliancat and where I am sure she was shocked, she loves me unconditionally. This morning Daniel Radcliffe confessed that he also.... here it is, loves The Bachelor Show! There, I said it. I watch the Bachelor. I love this show! This season Colton the ex pro football player is the Bachelor. And... he is a virgin! The show is funny.
Colton and the girls fly all over the world to exotic places as they try to find love. Like who would NOT want to stay on the show as long as possible to get free trips to Japan, Greece, Africa, Paris... and you just know some of the girls could care less about Colton but are competitive by nature and want to travel to all the cool places. Poor Colton.
There is always one girl all the other girls hate.
And there always 2 girls who hate each other who will spend there time with Colton dishing the other. In this season are two ex beauty queens who knew each other before the show and hated each other. The first few shows they each go to Colton to dish the other.

Then last Monday the two beauty queens kissed and made up and now are bestest. There also one girl who will spend as much time she can and on group dates she will be the first to run up to Colton, jump into his arms kissing him. The rest of girls look at her like in there minds they are thinking of 101 ways to kill her. And there is the one girl who sits and complains how she never gets time with Colton and the other girls will tell her to go and grab him and spend time with him! Then she got mad at the one girl who takes several times with Colton and called her aside to tell her she is being unfair to all the other girls in the house, yet still she does not go and spend time with Colton. haha The last rose ceremony she did not get a rose.
Oh and did I tell you Colton a virgin?
Funny part is Colton does not know what goes on in the House the Girls stay at. All the fighting, bickering, and girls compete for Colton's love but seem torn up when one of the girls are sent home that they had become bestesy with. Almost seems like they are move in love with the girl then Colton. So here is Colton the virgin ex pro foot ball player with starts off like almost 30 women he has to send home one by one to find which one will be his wife. Towards the end of the show one part of it is the HoneyMoon Suit where he gets to spend the night with 4 of the girls. Not at the same time of course. In past shows the Honeymoon Suite is where they can have sex to see if they are compatible in that area. And in past shows the guy would have sex with each one 4 nights in a row. I know. So of course everyone is wondering 'Will Colton loose his virginity during the HoneyMoon Suite Show???' Of course too when it goes down to the last 4-5 girls the Bachelor is always torn because he in love with all of them and each one he sends home he breaks down crying. Oh the drama of love!
Last Monday they showed a preview of Colton crying and jumping a fence like he done with it all so we have to wait till next Monday to see what happens.
I am not sure if i sould be happy or unhappy that we dont have this show in Greece haha. I was so shocked that I screamed and I think 4 blocks from my house heared me yell. Ok ok I am kidding
Watching that kind of series dont sock me at all. In the tv all around the world lately you can see so many dofferent topics and shows so that is only a drop in the ocean.
And yes my love as I told you ill accept the rose if you are my one and only rose that I love so much
I watched that one when it first got going. It got to be too hokey and predictable for me. I have watched Survivor, Big Brother and Amazing Race since they started. We watched Temptation Island when it was on back in the day. A bit predictable but entertaining...lol

*hugs* Loosing your pets is hard. I had to say goodbye to my 17 year old Trinity less then a year ago and my 16 year old Neo the prior year.
