It's freeing when you can stand outside of a situation that you're in and see it from a different perspective. When you can face the truth of "maybe it isn't everyone else that's the problem. Maybe it's me'.
It's liberating being able to know when/if you are the cause of something, of if you aren't. I know I've been in situations where I thought maybe it was me, but it wasn't. It was me accepting the behavior.
Those times when I did realize it was me. It gave me the ability to seek the help that I needed. To channel my anger into something healthier. A part of growing up, or evolving, is realizing that your mental issues are just that.. YOURS. They do not give you a free pass for things.
When your mental issues start to affect/effect other people around you, it's time to do something for YOU.
I am sure this will fall on deaf ears because, let's be real, there are some that cannot face what is going on the outside of what they tell themselves. There are also those around them that enable the whole facad, the life they've concocted in their mind, is their reality.

Nope... nope and nope. If I have to put on shoes to go to the bathroom... I am NOT going. I will be at the Marriott down the road from the campsite if anyone needs me.

Ahem.. but I need a shower and a toilet. I do not do do well without those. If I can't wash my rolls and folds, I'm not interested. And fuck that bathing in the lake. Fish crap in the lake. People throw dead bodies in the lake. *shifty eyes* I want to be clean not covered in fish poop. Lol
