...I see so much venom around here tonight.
Where is the love people? Where is the love?
...I love when I sift through other photographer's profiles for ideas... and I see a nude shoot they did with a model that looks interesting.
Of course she looks interesting; she's naked.
But I'll click on the credit link to her profile to see what other work she has done... and she states in her profile that she won't do nude shoots.
Ummm.. you mean... you won't do them anymore? Or not without being paid a whole lot of money to be made to look like a porn star, 'cause that's what this other photographer did?
I don't understand people...
... I see what Morri means. Some of these photographers go way, way overboard with the softening, diffused glow and noise reduction effects.
Unless you're really going for that look, the final product should not resemble the skin of a CPR mannequin...
I've grown to hate over-blooming and over-exposure; I'm now more of a crispness fan with color-melding to make it look slightly plastic, in my photo's
Make it happen, but also teach me PHP proper
Morri is the one who can teach PHP... but I would gladly fly us both to Sweeden to give you technology lessons if you're covering expenses. ;)
...my eyes... I saw the name sayiawillows and though it said sayiswallow.
Ah, how perverted our minds will be lol.
Looking at your journal excerpt on the Journals page I saw the same thing!! So, great minds think alike or we're both pervs? :) I got accused the other day of thinking like a redneck pervert. Not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not. *shrugs*
I could think of worse insults...
I am enacting a new company policy today regarding repairs for all customers.
If a customer brings in a system that is damaged from viruses, trojans and other malware due to downloading porn - and complains about anything regarding said repair, they will be immediately shot.
Please make a note of it.
...day one on the modeling site. Perusing other photographer's portfolios to get ideas, see how shots are done, etc.
I'll tell you what I've learned.
Male photographers get women naked or near naked and have them pose like a porn star way, way, WAY too often.
No creativity what. So. Ever.
(...you did say backward. :P)
As I was saying, these are GWC idiots who pay women to get naked around them because they could never have something like that otherwise.
Aww I was just about to show off by using the GWC thing. TOO SLOW!!!!!!!
Wow, what a surprise. Male photographers getting women naked or near naked and posing like porn stars. Who would have thunk it?
Worst phishing attempt, ever.

...I know how automotive technicians feel when people try to do their own repairs, fail at it, then bring their vehicle in for professional help.
I just disassembled a laptop that a customer tried to repair on their own. The disassembly was made more challenging by three screws that were cross threaded or the wrong size for where they went. By the looks of the fact it was missing 4 assembly screws to begin with, I'm guessing they didn't note which screws went where when they took it apart... or even how many they took out.
....in business it is important to build partnerships with people you can trust.
Yes, it might seem like a great financial savings to hire an IT guy who is willing to work at $20/hr, but...
A. $20/hr, unless you're going 14 hours a day, every day, isn't going to cover overhead for any professional service, no matter how low budget they run... therefore...
B. He obviously has a full-time job, does this on the side and therefore may or may not actually be available when you need him... which leads to...
C. How long is he going to "stay in business" if being in business isn't his primary concern, meaning, when will you then be out in the cold looking for a new service provider... or...
D. If he quits his job and actually starts to do this as a business he's either going to need an ass-load of customers or that $20/hr rate is going bye-bye and you're going to be paying too much for services that are probably still worth $20/hr.
But, you proved you have absolutely no business logic right from the start. Your business partner is cutting out on you because in his words you are, "unprofessional and doesn't take running the business seriously." He's cutting his losses because he sees the writing on the wall.
Trust me, I'm not shedding a tear for losing you as an account. The way I see it, without your business partner keeping tabs anymore the whole situation would have reduced to you demanding and not paying, and that is a headache I will gladly let the $20/hr guy deal with in a few months.
Pay us what you owe us now; we'll go our separate ways.
