It is within these ropes

The flesh

We find illumination

The realization of what we can be

Immortal

A carving in the soul of another

The willing

...fun photo shoot tonight. Something about getting beautiful women all tied up in ropes... heh.

Anyway, I think these turned out pretty damn well.

These are great, B. I think the 2nd one is my favorite though. This girl has beautiful eyes, but it's the reflection in her eyes that says the most. The few strands of loose hair soften her features and add an almost ethereal essence to the photo, while at the same time, the rope though smooth and silky, still holds her captive. She seems forbidden, but accepting of it.

How'd you get the back ground so solid? I am struggling with this a bit and end up just going green screen for video. Not the best solution.

The background is just a flat black backdrop. I believe it is an 8ft wide backdrop reduced to about 4 or 5 ft for these shots. I kept the f-stop around 7.1 or 9 so the model was well in focus but the backdrop which she was about 3 ft in front of was a bit out of focus.

That, and.. you know.. photoshop stuff.
