I would like to know if anyone here has ever had a demonic encounter.

When I was young, I had an encounter with something who claimed to be Belial and it was not pleasant. If it wasn't for my father who was a powerful witch, I might not be here now.

I believe demonic souls are living humans, there is no way to tell them apart from anyone else

Did you get attacked by a physical being or was it more like a psyhic attack?

Ouija boards are often the most common way of opening doors to the spiritual world. Its the gateway for Demonic forces to enter this world.

Demonic Encounters happen all the time in different ways. Research it more and keep asking questions.

It didn't show itself as having any physical form. It shoved me across my bedroom and said horrible things to me while I tried to sleep. It also scratched up my father's back something awful when he ordered it to leave me alone. I can't say for sure whether it really was Belial or something else using his name. All I know is that I never want to experience anything like it ever again.

I am going to express my opinion in a different way, in the way of science. For so many people Demonic encounter are happening more and more, and most of the time to the same people. Now, one question that always is asked is when demonic encounter start and when a mental decease is the cause. Example, schizophrenia is a mental decease that make you hear Voices; But, what if those voices are from demons, they will not stop even if you are taking to see the shrink, then He/She will prescribe some drugs, like Prozac. And at the end, because the voices continue on your head, the only solution is suicide. Yes, many people that have been hearing voices killed themselves. Sad but true. To face a demon, you must believe in demon and you must know how to send him/her, back to the other plane.

M13 I really advise against Ouija Boards. You can open a portal that cannot be closed, and there have been real horror stories associated with them

Bollocks, the board is a gimick, yes lots of stories, mostly of bollocks. Full Stop. Far better ways to reach out to other entities.

They can be used but they are no more than a Tarot Card or crystal ball, I ve used them, many times on investigations most of the time I put it down to kenetic energy of the group and the groups will to make sense of whatever happens with the board. No real evidence ever came out of a board, and the stories many talk about of them being dangerous are what they have heard from others who have heard from others who have heard from other. A lot of people who bang on about it have never even seen one

I supposed that's true. With all the BS, it's hard to know what's true and what's not. Since most Ouija boards are made by toy companies and sold as games, I don't really trust in them having much power. I don't care to tempt fate though.

I have dealt with a demon before and it has harmed me and my ex it has been following me and a few friends of mine all because we used a board and it was quite frightning and i am not sure if it is still following me and yes ouji boards work my friends have used one and it literally happened a few years ago and i believe they were drunk when they used it and now it probally opened a spirtual door in which it has been following us though i was there once when it was used i regret to say that they do work and we have been attacked however it is not easy to get rid of them once the demon starts to foillow you i know this for a fact cause i have had a number of them follow me since i was 16 years old and i am now almost 24 years old and yes i will say this it can get dangerous and scary however the only time i have used a ouiji borad is when i was 19 which only agravated my friends and i after the demon attacked my friends and i we have not used it since

This post caught my attention and made me think of something that had happened rather recently. I'm not sure if it fits into the realm of a demonic encounter, but it wasn't pleasant.

I was lying in bed readying myself for a projection when I saw a friend falling from the sky towards me (in my mind's eye) surrounded by a white aura. When they got fairly close they stopped falling and screamed at me, turning into some kind of shadow beast. I saw their hand thrust out towards me and I felt this horrible crushing pain in my chest. The stupid part in all of this is that I didn't want to wake up and make it stop, like that neural pathway in my brain had been closed off. Something finally kicked in and woke me up and I felt...well...drained from that experience.

Like I said, I don't know if that was a demonic encounter, but it still wasn't pleasant.

I blame the mind on ALL of these accounts of beings. The good ones we call angels - the bad, demons. Funny how this demon used a name that we all knew. Or, you knew.

The brain doesn't stop working. And it's programed to always create. It tries to find patterns in everything. Look for faces that aren't there. It will even fill in a missing brick in a wall!

There is a very interesting thing called: "Third Man syndrome." Seems the mind literally creates a person for us when we need support during stressful times. It has also been duplicated in labs.

Don't sell yourself short. People are far more powerful than they give themselves credit for. But as for real demons, there's no such thing. There's no ghost or angels floating around either. No need to. We're here.

Just because your mind creates, doesn't mean the things it creates isn't real. Or that it doesn't have a positive value of learning, experiencing or teaching. Some are from old survival techniques.

I believe that many here know that nothing on this planet is that real anyway. But it's all real at the moment. Best to learn the difference. And put it in your favor. It is your life after all.

We create attachments and what some call psychic vamps but that doesn't really make them real. They are only real because we make it so. And of course, anything we create - we experience.

I have had my experiences too. Including shadow creatures (old hag) and demons (wanted to learn left-hand tantra) but I'm not going to give them any credit except that I learned from them, or the experiences. I created them, learned, then moved on.

As for this site, many members are here for many reasons. And this thread is not meant to list them here.

BillytheJust, actually I had no idea who or what Belial was. I only looked him up after the name was mentioned. I then discovered that Belial has been known for possessing people in an attempt to ruin lives/

I think that for a year I got hexed or had a demon in the house. For a whole year in my bedroom happened these things: saw a shadow in the mirror and on the tv screen, heard footsteps, had my bed shaking, heard whispers, had screthes on my legs...I still don't know what happened, but if it was my mind then why on that year in particular? I wasn't stressed more than usual, I didn't take meds, i don't drink and it happened before i used the board. I suspect a hex because on that year i argued with a group who practiced the occult.

Possibly it was just passing through. It might not have even been malicious. There are for more forces out there than angels and demons. There are all sorts of things. Some of them don't mind us at all.

Then again, maybe it was something and something lured it away before it could do any major harm.

I may not have an utterly terrifying story like some of you but I do know that I'm not alone and haven't been since I was a little girl.

I've heard footsteps, knocking, whispering, yelling. I've been hit and shoved, I've been laying on my bed, alone in my room and felt something crawling toward me on the matress. Something heavy enough to make the matress give under the weight. I've been scratched and bitten and woken up in the middle of the night to something that wasn't there. I've seen shadows and reflections and even an altered reflection of myself.

Billy do you have any direct evidence that this is just a creation of the mind? Do you have something that credifies your belief? Because if not, you're engaging in a provential fallacy here. I'm not saying there's conclusive evidence ion demonic beings. However, if there's even a slim chance of these beings existing, it bears further and thorough examination, not just a blanket dismissal

I never believed in these things and used to shun whoever believed, but then when I had my experience I didn't laugh anymore.

I don't believe Billy is making a "blanket dismissal" Mel but is making a very accurate point. It is not to say that these things are not real but more poignantly, I concur that the conscious and subconscious mind has greater power and potential not only to create such entities or attract them, but also the ability to combat and nullify them.

It's simply all about perspective.

I have no argument about that. It's the way he's phrased his statements People could say if you believe in spirit beings, you've gone mental. In this area, I myself am a questioner because I feel it's more intellectually honest to say I'm not sure, but seeking.

Unfortunately, there is no solid evidence one way or the other. If there was, more people would know the truth.

Exactly, and that's why I say it's better to search and perhaps be a bit skeptical in certain ways, than just to declare them as mental figments. It's the same when christians, tell me about going to Hell w/o jesus. They don't have any real evidence but their belief system, which is not real propof.

Show me a picture. Simple enough. Still funny when I hear a demon has a name we recognize from Solomon. Even better if it calls itself "Legion." There got to be more original names than that. Although, demons in the past went by, Adultery, alcoholism, geed, etc. All well accepted by the general public causing sin. Remember sin? And even back farther was demons causing disease, birth defects, plague, etc. Again, all well accepted as the cause of grieve. All demons - all real. At-least, to those who believed.

There are no proof in anyway that there are demons from Hell. Or midway creatures tempting humans. I am a full believer that humans can - and do - create, manifest and build far more interesting things than they give themselves credit for. History is full of facts of this. Your own lives are full of experiences of this.

Humans have a built-in demon called the ego. It's all the demon you can handle. Don't go looking for more.

And if a demon ask you to sign on the dotted line...use your neighbor's name. Demons seldom ask for photo ID. ;)

Not all, but many things on this planet is about energy. Manifesting is one of them. Ritual is part of this. And not all ritual is conscious or mindful. This not only applies to demons but to angels and other so called ascended beings (whatever you wish to call them).

Using the thread's topic, encounters, happen if and when you make them. Granted, many don't happen instantly but that's only because you are not ready to handle them when they do. Think of astral travel when you get slammed back into your body.

Angels, demons, etc, can be called, created, or appear, as teachers, messenger because you needed them. There is something called, "third man syndrome." Dead relatives have been known and reported to come to aid.

But do they really exist by themselves?

Because someone heard a voice in their head?
Heard a sound in the closet or cabinet?
Got sick or diseased?
Had a bad day, bad week, a bad month, or a bad year, or a totally rotten bad whole life?
Experienced a unknown or unexpected experience?
Found a bruise or cut on their body that they don't remember getting?

If I'm dealing with a demon, then I made it. Real or not.

I have to agree to a certain extent...from the perspective that many hauntings, entities...whether you speak of ghosts, demons, angels, etc...are manifestations of those who have come before us...energy in its many forms is changed, manipulated and altered by the creative intuitive of the living...not the dead.

In following that line of thought, would it be any wonder if there are energy manifestations that name themselves Belial or Legion a thousand times over? As each age lends its popular belief systems, you will find a thousand and one boogers named Satan...o.O

I,ve had a few visits from various demonic entities , one in particular i've become quite attached to . Originally it would come only in the night similar to some of the above descriptions , but now i'm increasingly more aware of him in the day too . He's been around for as far back as i can remember and stayed with me even though i've moved many times . Were attached to each other for some reason and i have no idea why . I think their fascinating creatures , and it's mind blowing trying to understand what they are and how they interact with our subtle minds .

Be careful you don't become too aware. From what I've read, demons don't like being known for what they truly are. That's why they lie.

Demonic possession or experiences are something that I have a great interest in. I have never found any proof of them and I respect anyone that posts about their experiences 100%. I may jest around a little, though my intentions are not malicious unlike the demonic creatures/experiences which people are writing about.

That said I strive for proof, I want absolute proof and this site as well as others have never been able to give me so far what I want. I am very jealous about other peoples experiences because I simply haven't had them. I have gone out of my way to have them, but it just isn't happening...and if it did happen, I would make absoluty sure that I had indisputable proof/evidence to show people what had been happening.

I enjoyed how Billy had written/phrased his statements and he put it in a way that I thought wasn't derogatory in any way, infact it sort of made some sense to me.

As far as proof.The same thing has happened to me Theban in that I have never seen something that would make me think an entity was on the loose.What I mean is,while yes,there have been unusual and spooky things that have happened,anytime I have seen anyone who was supposedly possesed,there was never anything really...remarkable.
In other words,anyone can act weird,contort their bodies and make their voice sound spooky while they cuss and spittle flies from their mouth.

Oh,I would like to say that while yes,I have had some experiences that have made me feel sick and feeling of impending doom,I dont attribute that to demonic encounters even though others did.
I thought,and still do think it was disturbances in the magnetic field.These disturbances can make one feel like they are encountering a demon or entity.

Yes, there are forces we create ourselves. One such force is the Poltergeist, something I know very well. Forget what you saw in the movie. Poltergeists are not evil spirits. Normally the cause of this manifestation is prolonged emotional stress in a person. Feelings of doubt, self-pity, and self-hatred can manifest into a force your subconscious uses to attack yourself as a form of self-torture. My mother manifested such a force about 3 years ago. Usually the only way to banish such a thing is to work out your problems and find some kind of peace. One thing that was true in the movie is, Poltergeists are not attached to locations, but people. No matter where you go, the force will follow until you work out your problems.
