It's been about 3 years since I asked the question about Parallel Worlds. This was my initial post:
"Ok I've started believing in the Parallel worlds and stuff. The reason is because I think when we see, hear, or sense things it's because our world is colliding with the parallel world. because I know that when I see or hear something I do. I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks?
Also...Deja vu. I believe we have it because we've done the thing we're doing when we have deja vu in a past life. "
Reading that I'm thinking I need to clarify what I mean:
I feel as if there are worlds or different planes that co-exist with our own. Sometimes there is a glitch in the space between the planes and we get a "glimpse" of what is next to us.
My question of course is this: What is your opinion on Parallel Worlds/Planes?? What is your take on Deja Vu?? Do we sense a past life during this phenomena??
I do believe there is something there. Sometimes, I have moments where I know I have been in certain situations a number of times. Sometimes the situation is so familiar that I know I've been in that exact moment more than once or twice before. It's weird because I just close my eyes and breathe. It's like I'm trying to figure out what to do next.
I've had that feeling like "I've been here before" or "This is familiar to me,but how can that be." I never thought about it being a parallel world, but the Deja Vu feeling really could be a co-existance with another world. Who are we to say that we are the only ones anyway?
For the nonbeliever there is no parallel words and for that reason, we got so many people psycho unit in every hospital of the nation. Yes, parallel world exist and may sound unnatural, but, if you think about all your move during the day, you will find the connection with this worlds.
Parallel worlds would be logical, I had the idea it could exist but never linked it to the deja vue phenomena, but it does make a lot of sense and it logic.
I have a lot of deja vu, sometimes a few days prior or several years, it just hits me: I saw that, exactly that those people, these buildings, these sounds this smell these words spoken.... everything.... but i have never been here or seen these people before ever in my life...
So it would be logic if it was from a parallel univers, also explain why sometimes its a short period prior and other times its several years...
I am loving all of the responses.
It is crazy how de javu happens. I will have multiple moments in one day or I will go weeks without another moment. It's crazy.
its most likely.some physisits are doing serius studies about paralel time lines.somebody called ambrose bierce in the 1920s said such things exist and then one day went missing.i sometimes dream of working in diferent jobs.i seem to be a cleaner in every dimension.
In my studies I have found that one can't travel through dimensions unless you lose your body and possess another one in the parallel dimension or else you will be known as a ghost/spirit in the parallel dimension
Wicked.
I would love to be spirit in paralel dimension.
I can imagine one clarvoyant "me" in one of those universes being ashamed of me pretending to be a ghost in another one.
So many possibilities!
=)
The M Theory ... String Theory talks about paralel universes.
So obviously modern physics is very open to this idea.
So if we take it to mean that a moment of deja vu is actually a glimpse into a parallel world, then we can assume that this alters our own world. Perhaps we react differently or at a different rate to a situation because of deja vu, and therefore alter the next remaining minutes.
Which can also let us believe that this creates a new parallel world where we did not experience deja vu.
I personally have also subscribed to this theory. That there are hundreds of possible parallel dimensions of how things play out. How can we say that there is not?
Ah the joys of "what if"
I fully believe in Deja Vu. I seem to have it all the time. As for parallel worlds and planes, I have always wondered about that. Anything is possible so I would say most likely.
I think some people can access the different possibilities, bend them, manipulate them, I am sure there are hundreds or thousands...
Go playing roulette or black jack, feel you gut, after a while an hour or so it settles in. I have been barred from several places.
To stop this Casinos change the dealers really often, in my case every 10 minutes, when they do not I punish them. Its called the glass ceiling, my best win todate is 17.5 K at LCI casino's London.
On football scores I hit the 3-1 Loss England vs Russia a few years ago and made 20K.
There is a possibility that there is 2 worlds. we just can never cross over to the other.
The idea of possible parallel worlds /planes / dimensions has been pondered by many and disclaimed by just as many.
My personal take is that there are a myriad of planes and dimensions. That would explain many things we dont have answers too. Dragons, demons angels gods heaven hell...Surely they do not exist in just our limited minds and psyches.
Our imaginations are vast for sure but arrogance aside we just arent that good!! They say every myth and legend has a basis in truth. So where is it?? Why cant beings from other worlds cross over now and then and some people do the same?
Astral projection in itself proves there is at least one other dimension! So why not more??
As for deja vu i'm sure i've had this discussion with someone else before lol ...But yes its real who is to say what its origin is?? Thats a question for others to answer.
i honestly believe that we have past lives and have future ones as well. i think that our destines are part of it as well. and i think that the whole deja vu thing is kinda like a special power that people dont realize they have it until it has past. i experience it all the time and its really weird. i also think dreams have a meaning either about past events or for future ones.
The thing is Parallel Worlds can never meet. If they do, that would be a catalysmic event. But the mind is a complex thing and it is my view that it contains the portal to other dimensions. There is no way we can physically enter those dimensions. But mind-wise, there is a possibility. Frequencies, higher frequencies... higher-order thinking... those are portals. Sometimes people battle with different worlds. It may be imaginary or illusions... but the fact remains that there are other realities that the mind cannot comprehend.
One of the things I believe is that all that is or could be, is right here. Yet, vibrating at different scales of a vast vibrational field. I believe that it is possible to access other realms, shall the dormant senses be “awakened.”
So, although we may get a glimpse with the limitation of the five senses, it would be outstanding to ponder what could be attained, seen and known, by the senses that we don't use.
Some may refer to these as the “sixth sense,” for instance.
As far as parallel worlds, Quantum Physics suggests that it is a very probable possibility. Particularly, known for this work is Columbia University, Prof. Brian Greene. Thus, I believe that there are parallel universes.
Great post ! Dark Blessings to all,

I think parallel universe would make sense. I know it sounds weird but it would. You have to think about where all the unused thoughts and dreams and ideas go....Yes it sounds really corny but that's the way I think of it sometimes.
My take on Deja Vu is that its a sort of latent precognition. Sometimes people claim its a past life. I have had occasional episodes but they are just an odd feeling of having been somewhere before.
ther's a possabilty that there's another world and we just cant cross it yet and only cross it while we are dreaming
@Victorya
The 5 senses are more than sufficient. They provide us with all the experience that we need and want. Sometimes, the lack of use of a sense or senses might hinder our growth. That is when we rely heavily on the other usable senses to grow... The 6th sense is mere Intuition. A gut feeling, if you will. I don't think one can utilise this to experience parallel worlds... But we are of this world. Grounded beings. So yeap.
my background is in physics, and string theory postulates the existence of an infinite number of parallel worlds.
assuming that the theory is correct and that they exist, the other part of your question would be "can human senses detect anything from those "worlds" (the word dimension or even universe is more correct here). my first thought is to say no simply because of how our senses work:
smell is based on detecting microscopic particles in the air...and i dont think any matter will be moving between universes without some amazing technology being involved.
sound is based on waves moving thru a medium (such as air), which again would require matter moving between universes.
touch is electro chemical based within our body.
taste works very much like smell
sight involves the eye detecting certain wave lengths of electromagnetic radiation that strikes the optic nerve creating electrical impulses which go to the brain where it is decoded into things we recognize. if any of the senses could pick up anything, id say sight would be most likely...but still even to allow an electro magnetic impulse to cross between two universes would take a HUGE amount of energy.
that said i wont completely rule it out...lots of stuff in the universe that we dont understand. more things under heaven and earth etc etc....
~W~
I believe there are parallel worlds and dimensions other than the ones we know of, but it's far from human reach. And about that deja vu.. i think some people just have a slight ability to see the future but forget about it whether it be in a dream or past thought.. and when that thing happens that's when we question whether or not it's happened to them before.So.. yeah, as far as psychics go.
Since our universe is a dance of time and space that have been around each other for a long time, it is likely that whenever we die, our "souls" may go back in time so to speak, to return to where we were before. Think about it. When you peek deep into space, you are literally peeking back into the past. Wouldn't that make a little more sense?
I'm not sure about the parallel worlds, I really haven't done much research on them so I don't know what to look for. However, the deja vu topic, I would not doubt. It is strange. And since everyone feels it at one point or another in their life, I don't think I would doubt it.
first the technical fersion of what dejavu is : the brian short curcuits and sends the information to the memory center prior to it getting to recognition there for we experience a stong memory like feeling involving that moment.
thats 1 opinion...
i believe we as individuals can and do astral project (OBE) and without training we temd on the whloe to see what the future holds for us when eventually we catch up with ourselves we experience dejavu...
the problem with alternate universes / realities is one of perception, while we have 5 wonderful senses they are in terms of the possibilities available very limited, that being said very little is actually know about what the brain does and what it is capable of...
therefore it is well within the bounds of probability that the brain is capable of sensing things we have no point of reference to, (?ethereal?)
now point of reference is vital to comprehension and without it we struggle to make sense of what could in fact be a mundane thing.
i choose to believe there are alternate universes / realities just as believe there is life in other parts of the physical / ethereal universe... to believe otherwise would be to limit the magnatude of all existence to only that which our limited intellect is capable of comprehending.
oh and a side note time is not linear we just order it that way for comprehension reasons...
I was taught by some extraterrestrials that there are no parallel worlds. The closest thing to parallelism is understanding. The mere fact that distance from a place-time involves time allows for development or reverse development of that place-time relative to another place-time. I would be able to know your future if i studied the lights and sounds you make while traveling away from you. Extraterrestrials do that when travelling farther into space. Also, i learned about the grandfather paradox. If your light or sound emissions reach you after a long distance, you can understand an "alternate reality", which also can be related to a parallel-world.
I think it's possible to have parallel worlds and everything. I've experienced dejavu many times and I've uncovered past lives and everything too. But also in dreams, some seem so real like I'm living another life while I'm asleep in this world and 'awake' in another. There's been times where I've dreamed of doing something and possibly getting hurt or whatnot in the dream and waking up and finding that same bruise, cut, scratch, or whatnot having shown up in the same spot and hurting when it hadn't been there when I had gone to sleep. As another friend of mine said before while talking about it with them, who's to say we somehow don't travel to other worlds when we sleep here?
Why does everyone assume that the dejuvu experience is from a past life? Could it not be ripples from future life linked to you? Also the strings of reincarnation are not neccessarily linear. they may criss cross with your own life. Your best friend or lover might be you in another life.(retroactive masterbation) ;)
i agree that deja vu does not have to be from a past life. Parallel worlds make more sense. Now the question arises is it us, as in the same body or could we be the person standing next to us when the deja vu happens? just a thought.
I believe that there is another earth out there where there isnthe opiset of us in many ways.
Yeah I believe in different realms. I believe there is more than one level in the realms and that sometimes the realms collide and that is why people see hear feel things.
I have to say I adore this post. What fascinating thoughts from all.
Lord Dark Wolf, I am beyond intrigued in what you have posted. You seem to hold great knowledge about Quantum Physics, certainly a joy as I do not hold your level of knowledge. Would love for you to share all that you would want with me.
As of very recent, Professor Brian Greene has announced that String Theory and the co-existance of identical atoms at different places has been proved. As well as, that black matter is no longer a theory.
As I said, your background is physics. Mine is not. LOL! But would welcome all you would wish to share.
I'm not going to say that parallel worlds aren't in existence, they certainly are and can be reached; however, I just want to offer another viewpoint. Deja vu could also be explained by visions/dreams/premonitions.
As far as dreams go however, they aren't always for past and future events. In my case, most aren't. Dreams tend to carry a message, thus reoccurring dreams mean you still have something to learn from it.
@ Twilight Rayvn:
I've experienced that only once before. A few years ago I had a dream (not going to go into all the details even if I could remember all of them now) but for some reason someone purposely burned me with the cigarette they were smoking. Upon the cigarette landing on my arm, I jumped and woke me up. The place on my arm where the cigarette had landed actually felt like it had been burned; however, a burn mark never appeared that I can remember.
my belief is that parallel universes exist through our dreams we can glimpse into something that's either already happened or will happen sometimes u intercept others sometimes I believe there are moments that we can't tell whats real and whats not maybe the not real is the alternate reality if that makes sense.
