well i believe it is someone that can absorb energy from another and can have someon sense there presense by means of phychic waves, not exactly sure but thats all I know , I'm sure someone with more knowledge will help.

A psychic vampire is one who feeds on energy rather then blood. Sexual energy, emotion-general or specific, raw 'psychic' energy, etc.

Ever been to a concert, or in a large crowd of people that were excited about something? And it seems like you can almost feel the excitement rolling across the crowd? Imagine being able to really feel that energy, and not only feel it, but draw it into yourself, essentially feeding upon it.

Psi is the ability to draw energy from others without having to cut them. This ability can help with feeding when it comes down to large amounts needed. One can simply walk into a mall and feed from a mass amount of people without draining any of them of too much energy.

in all aspect, through reading an interesting passage, we take the energy of God, which is given to everyone upon birth, for us, we are at a lack of it, so we must take it from others. Now this Energy of God, which is also know as Life energy, Chi, Mana, ect, is what keeps us healthy. Stabb is right, we can draw this energy from others miles away if we are strong enough or focused enough. Also, as stated before, we do not steal energy from souls, just a little from peoples on physical and mental strength. Which, unlike us, everyone else can regain that back with rest and relaxation.

A psychic vampire is one who draws energy from those around them... Their powers vary greatly... Some can get energy from a persons objects and sopme can get them only by contact... It is very unique...

We all know people that we feel tired around. They're Psychic vamps. It's normally unintentional, and they don't know what they're doing. If you close your chakras, you can protect against it pretty well, though.

yes..the above post mentions something important.....many psy vamps have no idea they are doing it....all they know is many people get lethargic around them while they seem to wake up more....untill they learn to shut it off that is.....
it also is possibly for a psy vamp to take life energy from all their surroundings...not just people.....animals plants..the very earth itself...if they practice and experiment enough with it to learn how...you just have to study how life energy flows within things.....

There is actually a difference between psi vamps and psychic vamps. The terms have become interchangeable, but that's a misnomer.

Psi vamp - drains life force from others either consciously or unconsciously.

Psychic vamp - is a psy vamp but also psychic (yours truly).
