Anyone read the Dark-Hunter books?

I don't believe so. What are they like?

You may see them as buffy the vampire slayer crap but it's not. They're like real people with quirks included. Plus they're funny.

I really enjoy reading Sherrilyn Kenyon's books, she is quite a talented and imaginitave writer.. and she really comes up with the best characters.

I was thinkin about checkin them out.

I started out reading Talon's story, but that's when i was anxious to read Zarek's book

I have read ALL of the dark hunter series, and absolutely love them!!! I'm even getting a personalized license plate of one of the characters--Simi!

The Dark-Hunters are a line of Vampires that the goddess Artimes created to destroy the evil vampire breed of Daimons who die at the age of 27(slowly all day and very painfully). The only way Daimons may live longer than thier 27th bday, they have to take souls from human beings. They're not picky, so they take anything and thier souls to remain alive. Through out the whole play on the Dark-Hunters, they are not just created as Dark-Hunters from birth, they are human beings with souls that died of unjust cause, here comes Arties moment, and offers his/her soul to become a DH and do her bidding in ridding the world of Daimons and save humanity in order to have immortality to have a chance at revenge. Even the Gods and Goddesses are fighting against the DH's and they all just don't get along all that great. Sometimes the DH's will fall in love with a mortal person or something supernatural and gain thier soul back. Artie is the soul keeper. You must convince the evil redheaded bitch goddess to give it to you. She's a deal for deal.

Interesting plot but I haven't read any so far! I'll put them in my schedule for later!

yeah, i used to be a HUGE anne rice fan; even got her autographed photograph, but after reading all her books, i needed to read more than just what i'd already read.

I get really bored easily if i don't havesomething to read. Tends to only read a book in 3 days max

I read the first and second books last year. Still have 'em for when I need some sexy humor. And there is definitly sex in these books.

Have you ever checked out the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series? Lots of violence, even more sex, and they are based in a world where everyone knows about vampires and they have legal rights.

They sound like way cool books. I think Buffy is actually very smart and witty. Someone had commented on that.
