I have found that actual feeding off animals, really feels sickening. no matter what kind, I haven’t done it since I tried the first few times a long time ago, I haven’t really see anything in the books about it, though I heard threw a friend of mine there’s something about it in the Necronomicon, which I take with a grain of salt, but, I was wondering what everyone else knows and feels about feeding off animals.. and this is Psy feeding only, not like I was cutting cats or anything.

Depends on whether iy is consentual or not. if you are just preying on them then they will be disturbed by it, and you will pick that up. getting consent from an animal would mean creating a strong empathic link - you would have to become an animal - bond spiritually.

feeding on animals... well if you kill it it's ok.. but leaving it wounded and wekened is crule.. and if i found you i would do the same to you..

Thats a tough one if your vegetarian. You said it made you sick well the meat and blood of an animal has many toxins in it. Totally find another source.

ps, im not a vegitairian, and i do, do some blood letting, but i tend to take my meals fried with a extra side of grease. ;)

I have never nor will I ever take energy from animals...they have enough to contend with dealing with humans.

I would not feed from animal cause no matter wha they cannot be consentual and there for it is a rape (in a way of speaking, not sexually) it is stealing from them what they did not granted us permission to take, I have a great bond wiht my cat here and when ever I feel sick or something she gets by herself on me or extremly anoying on that cause she always wants to be wiht me or next to me, so I guess she sens it, but still I would never feed of her, ever, and I think it is wrong.

is not a good idea they have different energy then humans therefore they dont cover all the needs u may need making u sick

I felt that way as well, when i first psy feed off an animal , it felt like a violation and made me ill in the stomach, i was jsut wondering how many others felt like that as well. I think they prolly have some kind of 6 or 7th sence which may make it uncomfortable for the psy vamp to feed off them, randomly. As for the blood feeding some peoples have been talking about.. im strictly human. When i was butchering chickens once for my mother in law, i happened to get a bit of blood in my mouth, and it was Nothing like when i feed off my past partners. Dosnt taste the same dosnt feel the same.

We should not, and usually can not perform an energy pull from animals. Certain animals, usually our "pets" will have a stronger bond with us, and while we should not take, they will give. Both a friend and myself have been given energy from my dog before he died, and even still. But that was not taking, he was giving, and he knew damn well what he was doing. The energy we recieved was not the same as what we take from other humans, it was full of love, respect, understanding, and devotion. If by chance your animals do give you energy, it is some of the best you will ever recieve.

I think if you have a connection with the animal there shouldn't be a problem. I had a dog, the one in my portfolio, and he was always full of energy and we just sort of had this connection. I never really fed off him, as he died before I started to learn abotu all of this, but I'm sure he wouldn't have minded, and things would h ave been fine.

Also, humans are animals as well, just a different kind, but I think most animals have a hieghtened sense of awarenees, in regards to the energy around them, and therefore could probably sense someone trying to feed off their energy which they probably don't like, hence the "sick" feeling...bad vibes/energy

I think it is completly wrong, animals are animals and they do not have the conception of being concentual so there fore it is wrong.

One can look at it from a different standpoint. Rather than feeding off of each other, simply pool the resources together and find something else of unused thought to feed from. Often, they never know the difference.

I am not a vampire, so I have never fed on animals nor people. But I have seen it done. Some enjoy the animal's blood better than the psy they are feeding off.

I won't feed off of animals, I think it's cruel and I only feel off of consenting people. Animals can't consent.

I leave the animals alone and they leave me alone.

Besides, it's the intelligence that makes it taste good.

No one here can tell me that, when feeling down, an animal's presence did not pick them up. They give to us without asking. It happens whether or not you wish to do it. I guess that would be the animals gift.

Now, I can't understand the mind set of someone that would need to take that energy from a pet. Like I said above, they just give it. To bring back the word "duh," they (not just dogs) are mans best friends.

i am going to have to go with my brother darkatreyu on this one. but if you are completely desperate and are going to die maybe. i say its cruel and wrong unless it is a life or death situation. i am an animal myself and if anyone ever tried one you would never succeed and two i would kill the slowly and very very painfully.

Sometimes, they are more than just a friend, but akin to a sibling. When one looks into another, sometimes, they see a mirror image. It is in this case, that synchronicity rears its head, as everything happens for a reason. In such an instance, they do not need to feed from each other, but find more obscure ways to equally (and symbiotically) harvest the resources, effects, and conceptualizations thereof, without ever needing to draw from each other to begin with:. And also thanks to everybody else, i have been wondering if i was the only one who felt like it was a bad idea.. and also, i never feed off my pets, i was more doing wild animals, like deer and squirrls and such... what soemone said about the animals defending them selves instinctually from unwannted feeding sounds like a very viable theory.

I cant say Ive ever heared of anyone feeding off an animal. but i guess you would get a different type of energy?

Animals are put upon enough, especially sheep, without the indignity of some nutter holding one down in an attempt to drink their blood.

However, I will reference those who are interested to the Forum Thread on feeding off of Snake Blood and my comments on how to do it correctly. I would encourage anyone interested in feeding off of animals to begin their adventure with an Eastern Diamondback. They are plentiful and easy to find. They will of course be eager to cooperate!

Either way, it reminds me of our house evolution of vampires vs. Intelligent design, discussion. Perhaps Psi feeding off of animals was easier than killing the animals.; in the garden of eden, man had a better repoire with animals an we did not eat them, perhaps we did feed from them though.

I agree. I think if you have a connection with the animal, or animals, that they can give you permission, or even give the energy freely. On the reverse I think that if an animal wanted to prevent a psy feeding they could block you as well, or send you "bad" energy.

My feelings towards harming animals do not permit me to harm any animals. I am curious to know how someone could cut that part of their being to kill.

Hmmm I don't agree with feeding off animals for several reasons.
The risk of getting an infection is so incredibly high, I would not want to risk it.
How is this animals, say a cat or dog or rat supposed to fight back if you have your teeth or a knife dug into it's neck in order to drink it's blood, which, you yourself do not need just feel you do.

umm find ur totem animal, your more likely to physo feed off of them, in all honesty thats probably all you should ever feed from, and the necronomicon doesnt mention physco feeding from animals at all! eating hallucinagenic spiders for "sight" yes.

I wouldnt be sure but I certainly dont want to try it.. im to much of an animal lover..
