I have had this happen many times,
but I would like to know if anyone else has:
Have you ever sworn there was something/someone standing next to you?
You can see them out of the corner of you eye, but when you fully look, there is nothing and the sense of presence disappears?

Is there anyone else who has experienced this?
Does anyone have an answer on what it might be?

It is your blind spot in your vision.

Not sure what it is but ive had that happen and then other times ill look and see nothing and look again a second later and theres somebody there

Yeah I have had the feeling,sensation,and or well people being around me that are from another realm. It's freakishly exciting! I love the supernatural! Can't wait for more experiences to tell you the truth!~NFA

This has happend to me on occasion and after turning around and finding no one is there I often discard the idea that there was someone there.. there have been times however where after turning around and finding no one I continue to feel as though someone is watching/follow me. It is a rather odd sensation.

I have had thing like that happen, one time I was laying on the couch at a friends house and I swear I saw someone standing over me. I looked again and whatever it was , it was gone. And another time I saw like an animal run by me out of the corner of my eye, but where I was at there are no animals.

i get it a lot at the place where i work - only just recently it seems more visible. other people have noticed it too, and heard things that shouldnt be heard. i thought it was just me, but a lot of people have noticed something odd.

Yes I have when you see something out of the corner of your eye for just a moment ,it is supposed to be manifestation of a spirit ... Do you ever get the chills from it?
Or does your hair stand on end? Mine has before.....

This last time it happen, it was bit different.

I have felt it before as I have mentioned. The feeling or the feeling of the presences lingered.

I have always thought this:

That it was just something moving, I would catch out of the corner of my eye.

I am not so sure now. I have felt it linger before this. I know there are spirits or guardians, or angels, whatever you choose to call them.

As such benign creatures exist so must those of a more vicious nature.

How would you be able to tell?

I do not have a lot of experience with things of this sort.

Yes Ive had things like this opccur before and it has sent chills down my spine i think of it as my gaurdian angel of sorts as nothing bad has ever happened to me!

I've had that happen a few times in some of the places that I have lived. When I ask people about the place they tell me some history of what/who lived there whether it be an animal or person.

I would see or think I see something down my hallway, next to me, or looking at me and when I turn around there would be nothing.

I think there are entities and shadows of former things that reside in areas and places. I don't think they mean any harm and that they are just checking you out to see what you are doing.

I didn't feel chills, nor did I feel the hair on the back of my neck stand.

It was more like tthis:

I was alone, and then I wasn't.

The feeling that I wasn't alone, just seemed to stay longer than it ever had.

i have had a few times that i would be say, driving in my truck and thought i saw someone behind me in my truck, i would turn around and it was empty. really odd feeling.

How do you know if the presence is there to help you or to hurt you?

I think people like us that are into this spooky stuff do get a little more paranoid, you know what I mean? I have felt horrid sensations that someone has been there & I have also have seen things in the corner of my eye move & I dismiss it...I think I'd react badly if I actually did look around when seeing something in the corner of my eye & something really was there...

I am always seeing things out of the corner of my eyes. The more I get in touch with myself the more times this happens to me. At times I have had full blown visions of people and things and looked again and it was gone. One time as a child i saw a person but that that time they stayed for sometime just looking at me. It dosnt frighten me because I beleive there are beings around us 24/7.

I saw someone as a small child, at that point I was in bed & something bad was happening to my mother downstairs, I never dismissed it then, but I do now.

That happens to me quite often, I've always thought it was just a shadow or reflection of vision from the side of my eye that couldn't focus properly.

It has happened to me before, quite a bit. I usually just think it's a spirit, either checking in on me, or, more commonly, just choosing to be there at that particular time. As to whether it's malevolent or not, I can always tell simply by ambient feelings.

I believe that there are others around us all the time.

It is just the first time that it felt like they, or it, didn't want to leave.

I wasn't scared, just unprepared for it.

Sometimes loved ones come by to check up on things or to comfort in some fashion when times are rough. My grandfather stops by regularly. To warn of things to come or calm me. I can always sense urgency or a paternal calming hand on shoulder type deal based on what is happening at the time.

I had that happen a few times but most recently when I was in a hotel in Ireland. Something just 5 inches taller then the foot of my twin bed ran by. I think it was wearing a hat. I may have surprised it, cause it moved like hell, lol.

This has happened to me as well. Actually, many times. Some say it's a state of paranoia...some say it's your mind playing tricks on you...but I say that it is a real presence...something you can try and try to explain, but can't.

we all have guardians that watch over & protect us, perhaps you caught a glimpse of yours. i always feel the top of my head being touched.

has happened to me many times.sometimes its something i havent fully processed visually, on the periphery of my vision..other times Im not sure what it was

Of course, that has an explanation, it's an entity of course but the coulour you see has a meaning too.If you see a black shadow it's a dark soul and if you see a wite one its a good soul, like an angel.Beware of too many black shadows that must meen sopmething bad is goin to hapen!

Many times I think it's a combination of things... mainly, your eyes/brain don't always process what is there accurately.

You receive in more light sensation from the corners of your eyes... so a change in lighting, for whatever reason, can cause your brain to interpret movement - movement becomes translated as "something/someone is there" because your mind only understands reality and needs to put a rational cause to everything it experiences.

The other part of it can stem from what you want to believe is there - to offer proof or creedance to what you believe in or hope things to be.

This past Sunday I had experience where I swear I saw someone walk past behind me but when I turned around to look. There was no one there and no one around. I don't know what it was, but it was strange, to say the least. I wasn't scared but my friend thought I was crazy..lol
