now i know the first thing that is going to pop into most of your heads is underworld, but i have a serious question.

IS IT REALLY POSSIBLE TO HAVE A LYCAN VAMPIRE HYBRID?

i ask this because i show traits characteristic of both. i have elongated canines on both the top and bottom. i feed on blood, and i get more energy under a full or new moon. ive accepted my vampiric soul but is it possible that i could be lycan as well.

i even act like a dog.(and not a horn dog ladies.)

Yes it is A good friend of mine, better yet a brother of mine who I am sure will show him self here soon is one.

I would most certainly say yes it is possible if your showing the traits of it. My boyfriend has the same kind of teeth and such I'm not saying he is one but I have met people that are, although there are not many I would come to assume

I would say yes as well I know a few who show both sides some times at the same time :)

why would it be so hard to believe that you could be both?

i dont have a lycan in my bloodline as far as i know

I don't personally believe this- but I wouldn't dispute the character traits of both.

Both species have very similar traits, but I would have to say NO.

Surely, the moon affects many, but
you can't breed a cat and a dog together or a wolf and a bat, or any such mix, and be able to have any kind of offspring.
I can see "hybrids" but only within the same species.
I honestly do not at all see how mixing these 2 species could ever be possible.

Just as a personal opinion... I think that within one species, it may simply be an infatuation with the other species which brings this to be questioned if its possible, or stated that it is possible and does exist. For instance...someone in the vampire species admires the wolves/lycanthropes and the traits they portray, therefore because they like both species, they claim they are of both species. (and vise-versa) But then again, a claim is just a claim.

I do believe its possible In any theory. Phycily or spiritualy.Here are two examples.


*If vampires and lycans are simply evolved forms of humans they share a basic genetic structure. This allows the bodies to reconies each other as atleast a similar species therefore can produce a child of both traits(a hybrid).This also simply could be a instance were the "genes" of both evolutionary steps take place in one body.

*Also some people believe that a vampire is a human with the reincarinated soul or spirit of a bat and a werewolf is the same thing for a spirit of a wolf. There is a debated ,but believable, thoery that two souls can inhabit one body.

Greetings GothicJoker, ok as many have said yes it is posssible, and to those whom dont feel this way i apologize,but it is VERY real, ive been this way for quite a while, it isnt Underworld,its sometimes a rpyal pain, but although hybreds are rare,it's not unheard of,yes there are perks but drawbacks as well,and I take the time to say thank you to my Brother lord ryu for mentioning me

I think it´s possible... I personally have a friend who also shows traits of both... I don´t know if finally one will prevail ... but he´s both now...

I think it coupld be possable, but to believe in oneof those I would have to see it first

i too believe it is possible to have such a mix , as i have known a few to have both traights

I'm not ruling out the possibility but personally I don't really believe that it could happen. I agree with everyone that said they would have to see it first.

My son who is 33, has just went through a vamp awakening, he has been lycan for almost 10 yrs.

So in my opinion yes it is possible. My oldest son is a psi-vamp. Their step father is a lycan.

We have an interesting family.

if it as simple as taking meds it would be good but no, it isnt and try going thru a double thirst EVERY full moon,it isnt fun by any means

well, first we would have t ofind one of each species, and then see if you could. make a hybrid. between them.. maybe get a guinea pig. and see what happens..

I mix of both species is possible & has happened but its not commonly heard of, your very lucky to have both!!

I think of myself as more lycan than vampire, but at times I do feel that vampiric feeling rising up.

my boyfriend used to think he was just lycan, but recently, he's notcied vampire traits as well. i'd say yes, you can be a hybrid.

I am not a hybreed so I am just wondering does it cause alot of problems when they both try and become dominate ?

any time my brother, all one has to do is know that there are things in this world that just are, keep an open mind. I mean us Vampyres are not suposed to be real, but hey we are what we are.

why just holleywood, I have sen posts of fables and lores of creatures and unexplained, why for fact can a vampyr only be that and not combination of both. I feel i am a little of both, yet Its fantasy right.

well it would be considered fantasy to some one who is not, I for one am a vampire *blood fetish* if it makes it easier for you to call it that,so I see no reason why there could not be a ix of both.

it's nothing like hollywood. hollywood makes up a lot of things. take a look at what they did to vampire movies. they added a ton of steriotyping and all that. but that doesn't mean it's REAL.

i believe that a vampire and a lycan can become one, somewhere along the lines. they don't necessarily have to be dominiant, after all, the vampire in my boyfriend never showed up until now. it just now decided it wanted to show itself. but the vampire's not fighting his lycan side. they don't have to fight. but they're still there...

My words when it said fantsy, does not pertain to our blood lust or vampire ways it was said that others think this is make believe. not us. I believe two can be one. I have heard vamps dating lycans now what does that outcome become. Fables are movies. the truth does lie somewhere and I have except underworld or van helsing that these two forces of night were enemys and could not combine.

There's been reports, claims, sightings, etc. of both vampires and werewolves in history. Its been proven and even so much as scientifically studied.

Does anyone have any links, recomended books, newspapers, or even pictures to look through on reports of these hybrids, through history long before hollywood was created?

Its really beyond me why this is even up for discussion. Vampires,... I understand how intricate and how deep as far as mysticism, and how it has progressed to how we percieve them today, but this entire thread is based on a hollywood movie!

FACT: No Hollywood movie is a credible source of information, especially when it comes to vampiric mysticism. Its like trying to use Wikipedia as a cited source! Its not reliable in the least. ...

The answer is there are no such things as vampires and no such things as werewolves.

Please by all means go to your place of employment tomorrow and inform everyone that you believe in these creatures and that there exists a hybrid of the two. I would suggest you would be unemployed before the day was out.

I have to say that at my job they know what I am in fact when people come they ask to meet the vampyre and are pointed to me so you are wrong on that one. only those with closed minds do stupid things such as firing people for what is what!
as my sister said you need to get out more and see the real world!

Well in theory why not... they're are hybrids in every aspect of society and in the animal world... so if you feel your a hybrid then so be it. Accept it and be it bro!
