The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I havent been on here long but ive noticed that the site is expanding. Now i'm just wondering, What do you think VR could add?
This is just for fun, nothing serious.
I personally would add a chat (Y)

An E-library of Occult Magick Books.

There is a chat..its called the Vamp Box.

And I think it is up to Cancer what to add. Personally I think VR is fine the way it is.

The sites purpose is to document anything and everything related to Vampires so really it is what more can Members add.

That is the way VR is set up and by reading the Manual there are reasons for it. :D

I think that VR is fine, it could use some more games though. just a thought for Cancer.

Lol, i have no shame in admitting i have low paitence. Like when you install something, alot of the time they expect you to read the T&C and well...i cant name one person that does O.o

Nothing should be done, other than creature comforts to its members (which we don't really need). Its purpose is well thought out to accomplish that for which it was designed.

i would not mind seeing a 18 above area, for some more indepth discussion

This is posted in the Right spot, no worries... Anyhow VR has imporved ALOT since i was first here in 05 .. I think the site is great as is personally... Honestly what more could you add..

A very large paddle that jumps out of the monitor screen to wack people in the back of the head that didn't read the VR manual and feel they need to tell others where threads belong or tell other members that they don't belong here on VR.

The problem is that each time we have a suggestion thread, is that we're talking about how much extra time Cancer will have to spend adding to the site. I think he dedicates enough time already.

I know that he has a long list of things to do and I am sure he will have exciting changes in the pipeline.

So really what we need to think about is what we can do to help Cancer out. What ways we could improve the site.

i would like to see the unrated profiles selection come back, but i can't think of anything to add

VR is great. Doesn't mean there aren't other avenues to pursue. Perhaps on other sites, but this is the best so why not the complete end all.
A section on a history of vampire movies with reviews.
A section on vampire books with reviews.
A section with research material, sort of a History Channel on VR.
Just thoughts, and if we don't use them I am good with things the way they are. Wouldn't change it, but growth is never a bad thing.

The Prince is always adding new stuff and improving the old. If you would like to see something added, just wait a bit because it will probably show up. If it doesn't, send a message to an Accolyte and politely ask them if there is any possible of adding your suggestion. If your suggestion is within reason, they will forward it to The Prince. I would strongly advise against messaging Cancer directly asking him to add stuff because there will be consequences' as stated on Cancer's message page. Carpe Noctem

A test so that when people try to get lvl 2 they have to take it and prove that they actually read the VR manual.

I'd love to have an option on journal entries so you can lock them so only people on your friend's list can read them.

Also a clean up of all those profiles that have been inactive for 2 years or so... get rid of them!!!

Customer feedback, change management, and suggestions are important for the success of all businesses around the world. Vampire Rave has constantly be going through a programme of change since its inception, and this is what contributes to the success of the website.

I can guessimate that if there are any further additions to the website, that it may be for premium members.

I think that if cancer had an issue with programing hours then maybe some other people should be able to help him out with all of the coding in such. People that he knows he can trust and that they wouldnt mess with anything that is currend on the site already. other than that I like how this site is right now.

Perhaps a over 18 section as already requested by crying moon as there a lot of very young people on VR latley, some as young as 13 i've been reading. God, i sound like a old fuddy duddy!!

Also again as already requested a option to see the profile's & sections of the database you haven't already seen.

I think that it does need to add. I feel that this site is well thought out and fine. I would like to see a repair of the unrated part of the profiles and portfolios. That is one thing I personally would love at this point.

id like to see if free accounts could put music on the profile....

i see it all over but for some reason it doesnt work for me....

It would be nice if the unrated feature for the profiles and portfolios worked again. And the only thing else I would love to see is an option to delete yourself off of other people's friends list you are on.

Music option would be nice. Some people are just more computer literate than I am I suppose. And it is one of the benefits of Premium membership.

You've got a website that is great even if you aren't a premium member.

you can connect and chat with people from all over the world.

It has evolved from just a website created to catalog everything there is to be cataloged about Vampires...To an amazing place to learn about all sort of different things about many different supernatural subjects.

It is a groundbreaking website with a lot of incredible options available.

What could be added? Whatever the hell Cancer wants.

An MMORPG based on vampirism?

I have plenty of thoughts of what could be changed to better this site as a whole, but alas I am not the runner of this site.

Cancer has done a fine job so far, I'll leave all the changes up to him.

OK how about a pen to put all the werewolves in. lol. I'll wait for the real changes myself. Love a surprise.

I think this site is wonderful, if Cancer feels changes need to be made, then he will make them. After all he is our Prince.

Well if Cancer would add a chat room to V.R. that would mean that the Vampire Box would probably be taken out.

VR is killer the way it is, but I think it would be interesting to actually have a graphics page where there could be some images and HTML codes to help the members with little to no HTML knowledge with their profiles...There's a few articles but most new members dont find that for awhile.

I think VR is great, however I do love surprises. I can't wait to see what comes next.

i agree with Etrigan, a nice paddle to whack those who tend to think they know everything on VR and are always telling others what the site administrators should be telling members.

VR could have a lot more Features, yes, but it's really not meant for that. VR should be a really simple site, since it was Designed to only Catalog everything with Vampires. So if it only had a Forum, it would do it's purpose. For those who love seeing new Features or a lot of Features, you should check out Myspace.


I agree with Morrigon. This site has evolved a lot, and I'm greatful just for that. It -could- use some more Features here and there, but it's great as it is now. It could be better, but it's not bad now.

Cancer has many changes in the works. He has stated more than once that most if not all additions to the site will benefit and be available to premium members.
He never gave any hint before he created the Societies. He's not going to give hints now either. If any member has a great idea for the site you may feel free to message him directly. There is no need for discussion on this. It will all happen when it happens.
