this thread is about the diffrent crystals metals and herbs for healing for those who would like to know more about this and if you can please name a few and ritchals you use in the process
ps. please dont go off topic
i heard that you can put rose petal in your bath water to heal you.
roses yes thats true ive used them in tea helps with sore throts and metals and crystals has slite energy that comes off them that people bleave can heal magnet are good too for bones and arthrits some crystals help with sore muscles and stuff
Well, Copper is a good metal it increases blood flow and there for can help your body to heal faster. I dont recall what exactly Silver does but I know if you place it on a wound it helps to heal it at a much faster rate , you can even buy band-aids now with silver in them...
I have a list of herbs that heal I will have to good find it and post it for you.
Silver has anti bacterial properties and such...there was a good thread on its properties not so long ago..I'll see if I can find it in the archives...
fair warning tho yall befor yall tri these methods study what your planing on using becouse some crystals and metals can do more bad then good
I sometimes make healing and energixing baths. I use safran, lemon oil and a little bit of rose oil.
Funny. I always see this in these threads. "Caution, Careful, blablabla" about a spell doing more bad than good. The people that I am familiar with that happen to practice Wicca don't mention that. Poser or practitioner?
Okay, I'm going to have to get out my big book of Herbs...and such...lol...Healing is my thing so...-thinks- Bloodroot=Helps bloodflow Yarrow=Anti-inflammatory...And makes a good Tonic...ginseng=Helps Oxygen flow throw blood...Sassafras Root Brewed Helps with Constipation...and cleans out your Tummy, bowls so on. Lets see...For Spiritual Healing, Clear Quartz helps while meditating...Thats all i can think about off the top of me head.
Here is a little ditty on Quartz. I use them around my house and I feel their effects coincide with what is said bellow. When I stare at quartz I can feel it's energy pass through me, making me feel more energized.
"Quartz crystals have many amazing qualities—perhaps most extraordinary is their ability to transduce energy. Quartz crystals can take one form of energy and cause it to change form, moving up the energy spiral. "

Oh, something else that has enormous healing powers - the sun. (the big yellow thing in the sky) That is right, the sun is natures own prozac.

Hmm cant round up the one link..this might take a while..
TegoSanguisitim i am not kiddin even some herbs will harm the heal im just making sure people look something up so there dont hert there selves with out knowing some of these things can harm for example led is a comonly known as a vary toxic metal hence the reson i posted the warning there is alot of people that dont know led is toxic
Thanks for clarifying that. There definitely are many herbs that are dangerous. I thought you were referring to spells...
*ducks*
Well Copper is also Highly toxic if it has that Green on it, But if used correctly it can help, I do agree with WK on The Warnings of using such things Because some people just don know.
A little Hops ll do for what ales ya.We use it for the ponies too. They love it and its great for them.
Tobacco kills internal parasites too.Its not a bad anthelmintic.
about the copper dont burn it it dose let off poisions when you do
Well there are a few things that can be used for stones there is malachite to help with skeletal problems, Amethyst to get rid of migraines, Turquoise is the master healer it helps with all sorts of ailments and rose quartz also known as the heart stone is good for any problems to do with the heart.
Yes,BB,you're correct.Here is something I posted before..

Use a note as a base - let's use C
Starting with C (RED)
RED's pigment frequency opposite is F# (green)
RED's light frequency opposite if G (turquoise)
If you are left brained, it is likely you will respond as below:
If you have a physical issue that requires C, you will need a shade of the note of C.
If you have a maintenance issue with your physical body that requires the note of C, you will likely use a shade of F#.
If you have a processing issues dealing with the note of C, you will likely use a shade of G.
This has been shown repeatedly to have efficacy.
For left brained persons, tone and color are opposites.
If you are left brained and need the note of C, that translates to the color Green.
For right brained persons, tone and color are the same.
If you are right brained and need the note of C, that translates to the color RED.
Not considering left and right brained preferences has caused the greatest problem for those who use color and sound therapy in combination. In this context, we must always remember the First Rule of Alternate Healing: "Do no harm."
4. Every muscle, emotion, organ -- everything has a frequency equivalent.
Compounds, herbs, etc have a frequency equivalent based on molecular weight.
Muscles have a frequency based on nerve interactions.
Emotional frequency equivalents are based on brain waves.
I believe that everything has a frequency and that everything is a frequency. (I'm suspicious of plastic but wonder if I'm just not capable of picking this up.) We have shown the unique link between substance and frequency from Einstein's famous formula, e = mc2 by recognizing that, in its expanded form, hf = mc2 (since e = hf) it shows a direct relationship between frequency (f) and mass (m) mediated by two Constants of Nature -- the Speed of Light (c) and Planck's Constant (h).
There is much more. This has been my life's work and I have seen the miracles happen that keep me looking for the simple answer how we really "work" as animated mechanical, thinking, emotional beings.
5. Earth Frequency Equivalent. If the earth's sound is B, then it can be expressed as F, its physical complement or opposite and as F#, its light reciprocal.
Each set of frequencies and harmonics have a corresponding system, organ and emotion set. One note can be expressed and perceived many ways.
The B, F, F# combo in BioAcoustics nourishes normal structure and function for kidneys, mineral distribution, high blood pressure and the system of fluid distribution through the body.
As an emotional frequency it deals with trying to do too much for others. Giving too much of the self. Life lesson - setting your own boundaries, learning that your care taking nature means that you also must take care of you.
6. Each compound has a another frequency that activates it. If Niacin is the note of B and you play the specific frequency equivalent of niacin (based on the molecular weight) - you will activate niacin. There is an additional frequency dealing with niacin that causes the energy of niacin to
be expressed. It is called the Energy EquivalentTM.
For example, we can say the molecular weight frequency equivalent starts up (activates) the car but the energy equivalent puts the car in gear so that the car becomes animated.
Hope this provides some food for thought.
Thanks for the opportunity to share this fascinating subject,

I confess I laughed a little at first, but I think this has turned ugly.
Hopefully now MK has joined a Coven he will make friends who will help him with his posts.
So in answer to your question MK ....I dont use herbs etc.....but I know alot of people here do, if your interested perhaps they will post.
Hey WK! Dude, dont leave..your threads are fun and great subjects. No one is tryin to be mean to yaz...we need all perspectives here..yours included. If I am among those that hurt your feelings,I apologize.
Tell us about one of your herbal rituals..inquiring minds want to know.I dont know any rituals,so I know I would like to hear about one.
Physical healing
Medical Science
Medical uses for Silver include dentistry and surgical implants. Its malleability and conductive characteristics make it ideal for these purposes.
Alternative Physical Healing
New Age healers have taken Silver’s conductive abilities and translated that into the belief that it can conduct the body’s energy. They believe it can remove negative energy from the body and channel the positive energy of other minerals into the patient. The minerals they use with Silver include Turquoise, Agate, Jet, Moonstone and Lodestone or cooler-colored gems. Lodestone set in silver is said to aid in eyesight.
In general, Silver is believed to benefit circulation, help lungs and throat, and detoxify the blood, to aid in the treatment of degenerative brain diseases, balancing of hormones and chemicals and improvement of nerve impulse transmission. They also use it for treating hepatitis and detoxifying the body.
Mental Healing
Healers recommend Silver for hormonal and/or chemical imbalances and improving the transmission of nerve impulses, all of which can affect the patient’s mental state. They also ascribe powers for improving communications, reducing conflicts and increasing popularity, transforming energies and negativity and cleansing/balancing emotions.
Chakras
Third-Eye or Brow Chakra.

Gold...
Gold’s long history of use by mankind has given rise to a great number of healing myths. No doubt, its monetary value, which wells from a human lust for gold that is almost archetypal, has amplified the powers that healers attribute to the metal. That New Age healers call gold, “the Master Healer” is of little surprise considering how the desire that gold inspires approaches worship of the metal.
Physical Healing
Gold’s lack of toxicity and its scientific properties of incredible malleability and ability to conduct energy, while remaining resistant to wear and corrosion, make it highly useful for Medical Science. Medical uses based on science have included the treatment of Arthritis, dental fixtures, and more.
Healing uses for Gold based on the beliefs of the New Age include the treatment of blood, skin, neurological and heart disorders. They believe Gold to be an energy generator and remover of blockages with the power to strengthen, amplify and conduct energy in the body for the treatment of autism, dyslexia, epilepsy and scoliosis.
Mental Healing
To those who use minerals, metals and crystals for healing Gold symbolizes the purity of spirit and they attribute the power of cell regeneration, energy conductivity, communication transmission and energy purification to the metal. According to their belief system, Gold spurs the regeneration of neurotransmitters in both lobes of the brain and creates a balance of brain function between creative and logical thought. It also benefits the nerves with its ability to improve the flow of information through the body. In the world of spiritual healing, Gold has the emotional power to ease tension, feelings of inferiority, an anger as well as encouraging the realization of one’s potential and bringing comfort.

I used crystals a long time ago and never got anything out of it. I tried, but just couldn't do it. Kio is starting to get back into it, so i'm hoping this time around I'll learn how to focus better and reap the rewards and healing effects.
There were other posts on this. Search for it in the search box.
Crystals have been used for years to heal physical and mental ailments, and herbs also
I posted one of the threads where Crystals were discussed..up there in the list.
I would like to know why some people deem it essential to use crystals/metal/herbs etc etc to heal others with.
Alchemists of old used many different substances to aid healing, including herbs. Herbalists specialised in using many kinds of herbs to heal with, but were any of these ever really necessary?
I say no, as I have never used any herbs or material items to heal with, I merely channel my own energy into the person I wish to heal.
There are plenty of herbs that help heal. Go into a pharmacy and look at the natural section and u will see plenty of remedies with herbs. I would stay away from gathering my own herbs since some herbs are poisonous. Magnets are also good to help with aches and pains in your bones and joints. I also saw mentioned silver, I would stay away from silver since it is a know carcinogen
Here is a healing spell in the form of a bath that uses common herbs:
1. Healing Bath
3 Parts Rosemary~
2 Parts Lavender~
2 Parts Rose~
1 Part Peppermint~
1 Part Cinnnamon~
(For a cold, add 2 Parts Eucalyptus)
Aids in the Healing Process

Actually,I find herbs and such to come in very handy when it comes to healing the ponies.Certain mixtures make great anthalminitics ,poultices and leg sweats and such.
There are things that can be healed with one's mind yes,I am a huge advocate of it myself, but there are just some things that really need a little outside help in addition..I would go as far to challenge anyone who says they could heal something like a stifle or dislocated shoulder with just a thought.
GOTV...a little exerpt from the site I poststed...
Further support for the lack of silver's ability to induce or promote cancer stems from the finding that, despite long standing and frequent therapeutic usage in humans, there are no reports of cancer associated with silver. In a recent Proceedings of a Workshop/Conference on the Role of Metals in Carcinogenesis (1981) containing 24 articles on animal bioassays, epidemiology, biochemistry, mutagenicity, and enhancement and inhibition of carcinogenesis, silver was not included as a metal of carcinogenic concern.
But you can update your info by going here...

I guess Im just saying that from the perspective of one who heals for a living and has been at it a long time,it is always best to employ whatever technique it takes to get it done.I believe problems start to present themselves when one feels they can only use one method.
Yes silver is very good. Before they had antibiotics doctors use to stick a spoon in liquid and have the patient drink it. Most of the solutions out now are not true colloidal silver but actually ionic silver. I have used the ionic form.
I was introduced to it by a lady I knew that was into all sorts of herbs and healing preparations and I didn't have any insurance and got strep throat and I had a bottle of Trimedica Silva Solution and I swabbed my tonsils, gargled and swallowed it as the liquid is external or internal for use and it literally would fall off and it took slightly longer but my strep went away.
I have used lotions with silver and my cuts heal almost overnight. It's good stuff. I use an ayervedic herbal preparation when I have certain digestive problems called Triphala and its great. You can find things about it online. Its three herbs mixed together.
Roses have a way that when you boil the petals you can make holy water,I always wear silver for I believe it has healing powers along with my pendalum stone, there is no mixture just belief
And the Rose hips as well, yes? I mean there is alot of stuff you can do with them too?
I actually dry every rose I get out and pluck the petals,I boil them,I put them in bottles, and I actually soak them,it provides for me a security that is weird to explain
I believe I understand.:) Sounds quite calming really.
It is very calming to to the soul,I also believe in burning incense of any kind,it gives me inner peace
I always shutter at the idea of the blind leading the blind.
If you take ANY western drug- even over the counter, you need to consult with a PROFESSIONAL herbalist before using herbs.
Willow's Bark- yes it is good; but if you take it with Aspirin and are in an accident- it could kill you. The active ingredient of willow's bark is what they make aspirin out of.
Seriously folks, some things are NOT better self-prescribed.
i take all kinds of strong pain medicine and syill have headaches and the doctors tell me there is nothing wrong..quack doctors i say..
Actually pain is not something that is well understood. How we have pain is, but not the why of pain.
When looking at Headaches, often people who experience "hot" sensations get a decent response with peppermint tea or a drop of essential oil placed under the nose.
If it is more of a pressure like a towel around the head, often hot water with a lemon wedge and honey will help *provided you are not allergic to any of these. When looking at trying to sleep with a headache: Lavender and Chamommile flowers in your pillow or a combination of peppermint, rose and witch hazel leaves can be effective.
thanks for the advice sahahria i will try this and try to sleep..
Headaches do have many sources. Not all of them need pain killers, and the Doctors know this. A therapist or counsel may help. As an Aries myself, we get headaches all the time and in all forms. They do not get treated the same. Sahahria's advice is a good one. But some times, if not all the time, we give ourselves the pain. It maybe a simple matter of "getting out of your head" to stop the pain. Stress does many things - so does too much thinking. A simple art class or walk might help. Journaling does too.
Herbals are not for experimenting. They don't always mix together well either. Local herbs, as well as food, may work better than some exotic one far way. They seem to have a mind - and personally of their own. Best to invest your time and money to talk to a professional on this subject. Learn what you are taking and why first. Then once you know what you are doing, then make some things up for yourself. You would be glad you spent the time learning.
thanks oceanne your posts have been very informative. I particularly like moonstones and rose quarts. They seem to calm me and sooth me when im in a stressful situation along with onyx.
I think that everything has healing qualities, but I think it depends on the element and the person. So what is true for one may not be true for another, so a complete list for everyone may not be possible. Then we are down to trial and error
thank you BillytheJust for mention it sawblade is my wife and yes i explain to her some of her headaches are stress related..
You are most welcome GOTV.Im glad it is useful.I have heard alot about RQ for its calming affects.:)
As far as asprin..you can take two, with no extra willow bark get in a wreck and still die by bleeding out..it just all depends.bad liver or any number of things.
But what Saharaha and Billy posted is true, always learn your stuff first before taking anything, western ,eastern,or wherever medicine..herbs,and even vitamins. And Atonement..nice post.
I agree with Billy....in the past my own anger has given me the most awful headaches......eventually I understood what was happening and simple deep breathing and relaxation did the trick.....yep I'm an Aries too lol
roses copper and chamomile work great so does cinnimon and aloe. Crystals are great too.
To answer this straight up,I do not use any ritual per sey.Sometimes I use my hands and just think...Other times I will use bandages, medicine etc..
Water is a big one too .
Is there anything I can use for my hands, to heal them from carpel tunnel (2nd time having it) I did the surgery and It came back in one hand. I just want to know if there is a potion or something that I can make and rub on my hand to make it feel better.
Even animals are born with the knowledge of plants and witch ones help with illness. My grandmother told me that cats will eat a certain type of grass to help relieve an upset stomach.
Well I know that using crytals help heal and protect you. I also know that certain things can only be done at certain times/days.
As mentioned before I mostly work with crystals. Honestly, it's hard to recommend specific crystals. They each have different healing abilities.
I.E.
Amazonite is beneficial to tooth decay; Amethyst treats insomnia; Carnelian banashes emotional negativity(this can aid those who are depressed); Magnetite can stop nosebleeds, etc.
My suggestion is to focus on what part of you needs to be healed, then do some holistic research.
And if you do want to use crystals to help you, feel free to message me privately and I can suggest the appropriate stones and how to use them effectively. :)
Just make sure that unless you are very experienced in working with crystals, STEAR CLEAR of Malachite. I myself don't even use it - I have a few stones of it because I think it's beautiful and I love to just stare at it lol.
But seriously Malachite can cause heart palpitations, and if anyone has a heart condition of any kind, well that's just not good. If you do decide to be bold and use this stone, be sure to have Rose Quartz near by. It can eliminate the original effects of Malachite.
I have never used crystals, herbs or metals when healing others, I am able to heal others through "laying on of hands", I never even thought of using any sort of external objects.
I dont remember much of the healing herbs, but the encyclopedia of herbalism by cunningham is an excellent source for all herbs.
i believe in the powers of different stones and crystals, and ive tried burning different things.they can help.ive also tried rose petals in a bathtub before, and it helped draw out the pain in my knee,so it wasnt as bad.
there are many two of the most ommon are quartz and rose petals.
yes green tea is good for weigh lost but it is also good in general for the body.
Ahh yes tea..
Tannin is a great one for alot of things..A tea bag placed on a tooth can relieve pain to an extent.
Another one that many overlook is Vinegar..it has alot of uses in healing, especially when it comes to the hair and skin.
River clay is another biggie..a ton of applications.
Salt..another one with many applications believe it or not.
your not supost to burn the copper silly wabbits your to wear it.. LOL, just make sure it has little to not nickel in it ..
Chamomile is one of the strongest healing herbs! It relieve stress and brings happiness and calms your nerves!
Like when you deal with over the counter or prescription drugs and with vitamins and mineral supplements -- always check to see what adverse affects they can have with your blood type, what medication you are currently taking, etc.
Not all herbs and such are good for everyone.
How can you heal a headache without all the drugs.. and is there a way to make your-self heal faster on cuts and things by eating or drinking a herb os some sort?
Thank you for all the wonderful information. I do use some of the items mentioned for a more earthly means of healing. Have never used metals or crystals before but always had an interest in it. Shall go view the website and what not in search of more knowledge.
-tea leaf
-aloe leaf
-parsley
-glaric
these are used to heal certain pains I'm actually learning about different herbs that will heal certain problems that doctors don't use these days b/c they believe in pumping the body full of chemicals.
and yes I have heard of rose petals in a bath as a form of theorpy. there are also other forms of theory including aroma theropy a scent of a certain plans helping w/ sickness and pain.
I use lavender drops on my pillow (only the pure essence) and place an amethyst under my pillow to help me rest when I have a migraine... I could swear by it that helps me rest and recover!
precious stones, semi precious stones, crystals, minerals, metals, herbs - all play a part in healing. Takes what works the best for you.
Out of my experience I find that crystals are extremly good at drawing the negative energies out of my body, those negative energies wich are causing illness at the first place once they have been accumulated in to the sistem in a larger quantity when body cant handle the imbalance any more. I find various crystals to be extremly usefull at cleansing the negativities and unvibrations, with that protecting ones overral health to a significant measure.
i don't think crystals have the ability to heal. however, i do believe that lavender has somewhat of an ability to do so
i truly believe in nature healing like ground flax seed a really good drawing agent for splinters boils and things use a piece of bread size of area pour a little milk on bread sprinkle ground flax seed wrap this onarea you will feel the drawing feeling it gets uncomffortable it works gensing is good for asthma when dried and smoked
There was a time when I had a general, lasting sickness around age 10. A lady at a metaphysical shop suggested I try carrying around a piece of copper with me, preferably on my skin.
I don't know if there might be something about the copper metal or its ions that promotes healing, or if it's totally metaphysical.
"The mostly widely used drugs in chemotherapy (Pt drugs) are metal-based drugs and there are a large number of other metals that exhibit powerful anti-cancer effects. There are over 20 projects currently underway in the Network that have yielded promising results and many are the subject of patents. Diverse approaches to chemotherapy involving such complexes include: selective cytotoxins for chemotherapy; hypoxia-selective chemotherapy; photodynamic therapy; chelate therapy; sensitisers for radiotherapy; and boron neutron activation therapy. Promising research involves a range of complexes with different metal ions including those of cobalt, copper, gold, iron, molybdenum, niobium, platinum, ruthenium, tin and titanium."
